I would download Flashtool if you didn't already have it and use it to root your phone. You can use it to flash ftf files without having to use the PC Companion and it has built in root functionality.
You can't root firmware .62 or above. Either downgrade to .58 or lower, or live without root since you're not planning on unlocking
that's also my trouble and i don't know why!!!!
i tried a lot of ways and didn't work so please help me also -_-.....

Hi, i'm on ics .587 and i have installed some roms like jj and pureness, supercharged v6 too, but the phone is slow and i would install gingerbread to feel the difference.
I have search in android development section, but i dont have found what i search. I would a gb rom with lockscreen and themeui like ics.
It' possible ?

It is possible, I suggest Gin2Ics theme for now, but I'm currently modding it to look almost fully like ICS.

If your bootloader is locked, flash .42 with Flashtool, reboot-tick "unknown sources" and "usb debugging", root with Flashtool (unlock icon), boot it and update to .62 using Update Service application.

But for people with locked BL or anyone else who doesn't want to flash this just use Gravity Box via Xposed Framework.

please download again and flash it
framework.jar was missing in old zip
my mistake
make sure to have a nandroid backup or you can simply flash system from a ftf file without wiping cache and data
Hey people i wanted to let you lot know and the dev that you can flash this on locked bootloader using Flash Gordon I did it on my Xperia M(C1905) locked bootloader and it works like charm no bootloop or anything when i flahed it on locked bl be warned you need to be fully rooted to do this if your phone half rooted I don't know what will happen and your ROM need to be deodexed
BE WARNED PHONE HAVE TO DEODEXED OR WHEN YOU FLASH THE ZIP ALL THE APPS WILL STOP WORKING AND THE PHONE WILLGO INTO BOOT LOOP( I know this is because the developer tells that and I tried it without deoxdiding my ROM and it went into bootloop and had to flash firmware again)
When you flash this using Flash Gordon it will reboot suddenly don't worry about ]
Hi! I do not speak English well
I would like to ask you what you did in the 'android.policy.jar', the 'framework.jar' and 'framework-res.apk'?
Thank you in advance!

The recovery lies in system space then. That's a bit unfortunate if you manage to completely destroy the system, but with an unlocked bootloader you can still flash a new boot.img with recovery if that happens. At least you don't have to remember to reflash the dual recovery zip everytime you flash a new ROM when it's already integrated.
