Anybody got any custom conversation skins or links to any?
I'm not rooted yet as my laptop is being fixed.
I would prefer not to use go SMS or some other crap like that.

I had a search, and they're only for rooted phones. /: I'm talking about installing the skins as .apk files, like you can with the themes.

You could probably pull the apk from miui using adb then push back to whatever ROM you want to use.
Which version are you using. If you give me s link I can flash it and pull the apk and post it up so you can give it a try.

Ever since I switched over to paranoid cm10 there's no Samsung apps market. I've tried installing it but I know it doesn't work on our rom... so what I'm hoping is someone could possibly get me the apk for the "Task Monitor" only available on the Samsung market? I know I'm not the only one from using search that's looking for it. Please anyone who hasn't switched to cm10 can you download it and maybe email it or post it here? Thanks!:beer:

Well it installed okay but when trying to place the widget the process fails.. it puts it on my screen but doesn't respond when clicked and always shows 0. Hmm

I think a lot of those Samsung apps.. task manager in particular, are dependent on touchwiz and don't work at least fully on aosp roms

Some guys on my old phones forums were able to mod the apks so they worked on aosp.. task manager included, maybe someone would want to ask them how they did it?:thumbup:

Before I put a custom ROM on my T989 Phone & Contacts were the same app. with all the ROMs I've found they are separate. Does anyone know a way to get them back to only being one app with phone, logs, contacts & favorites, or if anyone has a Jellybean with them like that I would love to know.
this might seem silly, but in my opinion it's way better as one app

I got the 4.1.2 AOSP MMS.apk to work without any modification, Although MMS didn't seem to work(SMS worked). I only tried one version I found online. I didn't have time to look for another version or figure out why MMS wouldn't send but besides that it all worked
The trickdroid rom has an option in the Aroma installer to add it I believe. I think I remember seeing it in that rom.
Last time I checked aosp mms app on a non-aosp rom did not work well for threaded messaging .. Always end up with multiple in the list ... Those who are using stock aosp one, can u check on this ?

I really liked the camera app on my Asus 7" HD tablet. Tried to use the same app on my phone, but its like combination of apk and odex.
Could anyone please make these two into an apk that I can use on a deodexed ROM. Please.
