[Q] wish to know how to get the kdz for L-01E

hi there, i want to know if there are other ways to get kdz for this device
i've tried normal way and this does not work on japan version
(csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=your device imei)

sth released by LG helps our device to run again when we meet some bad situations
such as delete the useful system apps and face security error when U restart ur device
but it will make the device lose root & cwm

Just bought a LG E975 with 4.1.2 but I can't seem to find any guide on rooting that works for it.
Any help will be appreciated.

if its an E975 running JB it sounds like its already rooted seeing as no official 4.1.2 has been released yet for that model unless that's the korean model . I could be wrong though. Wouldn't be the first time. Check in app drawer for super user icon.

You can root it with the method posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2112190
Might take a few tries but it works as I tried it on the E975 KDZ a couple of times.
Then download busybox from market.

Now I think to think of how to fastboot recovery into this phone. Can't seem to be able to enter it..

Maybe jump on the IRC channel and ask for the E975 freegee if available. It will unlock bootloader and inject cwm for you. Then you just reflash a newer cwm version which can be found in the AT&T section.

Hi,
i have red different things about how to root an e975.
So i have a few questions before to root my phone.
Is there a better method than another to root my optimus G?
Is there a way to unroot it easily later?
If i unroot it, will it be exactly the same as a never-rooted optimus g?
Will it be possible to update officially my phone when an update will be available? (with root? unrooted?)

the easiest way is to use motochopper to unroot, after u need to unlock the boot loader with freegee available on the mp...
now you re ready to flash a new ROM.
at your own risk....
ask yourself what u want to achieve with root... if you want to get the last stock lg experience, you don't need to root.

[TOT] LGE980 ATT Optimus G PRO Factory tot IMAGE [lgnpst]

Apparently ATT is getting the LGE980 which is the LG Optimus G Pro today Friday May 10th.. So I guess I should drop this tot in case anyone needs it to do recoveries if u mess up phone There are tons of Instructions on how to use lgnpst. this is not a support thread , this thread is here to provide you to the link to download and obtain this image..

(that is, assuming LG won't at some point do something similar)

i think the apk related to some launcher or something needs to be found , as probably the wallpapers will be integrated in the launchers apk.. so u can have more luck as by just looking for the files related to launcher ..

On my e970 this modem broke external (main speaker) audio. No audible ring tones, and music wouldn't play. In call (ear piece) audio worked, but suffered significant delay/latency... But I was testing by calling my wife in another room in the house, both on our microcell... so not the most reliable testing environment. I was running houstonn's rootbox.

Which dll are you speaking of?
You may just need to install the most up to date LG drivers on your computer.

Cant unlock bootloader from freegee in lg optimus g(indian version)

i updated my phone with lg support tool last week...
and now i cant unlock bootloader. Its show "sorry ur software version is not currently supported... "
previously before the update, it was working fine..

[Q] lost efs after installing hong kong kdz on f240l, ned help

i have the F240l i flashed E988 kdz on it every thing worked well but th einternal memory was gone so i reflashed the f240l kdz now i have no signals and when i insert the sim imie is gone too.
please help iam disperate.

Do u have EFS backed up via FreeGee?? Cos u can't use others EFS..

Yes dear I did took a backup but I don't know where it was and may have deleted it or something because I can't find it anymore I have pressed the tab restore back up so many times and it says efs backed up but don't know what to do.
