I took the back cover off the phone but in the process forgot to take out the sim car and holder. I ended up bending the sim card a little and the holder but straightened them both up, but when I insert the sim card I get nothing. I've tried bending the phone at the top and the and it sometimes notices the sim card. I have purchased a new sim card holder just incase its an easy fix. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just put someone elese sim in and it worked, so I damaged my sim and not the phone which is good. Shame I have to pay £10.21 from T-mobile for a new sim card!!

I'll occasionally have my phone drop my connection to the network and claim that it has no SIM card inserted. I'll turn off the phone, pull of the back, remove and reinstall the SIM card, and turn the phone back on. Most of the time this fixes the problem.
I've noticed it seems to happen after my phone gets hot (using Google maps navigation, playing Ingress, etc.) I'm not sure if this causes it or not, but it's something that I've observed.
This seems to be happening more often than it used to.
Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening again? I need a reliable phone when I'm on call at work.
Thanks!

I've been searching for a case for my HTC 10 that has a card slot in the back but doesn't cover the front of the. Something along the lines of the image below. Doesn't have to be that fancy.
I've been searching and searching and can't find anything. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks for your help!

I go to a lot of hardware/software vendor conferences, and recently a lot of the vendors have begun to hand out little rubber card sleeves that are backed with 3M adhesive. They are meant to stick to the back of your phone and hold 3 or 4 cards. I've got 5 or 6 of them thrown in a drawer right now as I don't like the idea of carrying cards on my phone. They look like this:

Good Day to All!
So the problem I face is that I am only getting the network status ( Emergency calls only), this issue occurred after I replaced the power button and loud speaker. I had no network issue before the replacement as for me damaging any related antenna parts whilst doing the repairs no, no parts were damaged the wifi and bluetooth is in working order. The sim tray is working because it ask me for the sim card pin code (which means that it's reading the sim card) I tried another gsm provider sim and it reads it with signals. As for solutions which I have tried is trying another sim card, recovery mode wipe, triple check the motherboard for any damage parts.
I went in *#*#4636#*#* and i took this screens

When I install sin in a sm-975u note 10+ us version, the airplane toggle lites up halfway dim and no cell service icon is where the signal level is normally the screen has been changed and the boards seem to be correctly matching. When I got the phone it was Google locked I paid an ebay company to fix and seems they did fix frp. The phone had Verizon icons I sold it to a friend he put a at&t sim and the phone didn't work so I put a verizon sim in and no luck. I did a imie on byop on verizon and swappa phone is good to go

Note 8 Pro Global MIUI 12.5.8
I get this annoying notification all day long, it goes away and pops up again after a few minutes. The SIM slot is ok and the SIM card is functional. I tried another SIM card from different provider and the same problem exists. I also select the network manually but to no avail . I called my network provider and they confirmed that everything is fine with the network. This is the first time I have this problem. The phone has never been physically damaged or software modified.
I appreciate any advice or help. Thanks!
