Hi
I seem to have accidentally deleted my Android system sync file from the system folder.
Can anyone help me out...my rooted kindle is great but I miss the sync option for my calendar and chrome.

I have version 10.4.3
Stock ROM...I have only gained Root Access.
in the process of adding the google calendar to the system app folder i deleted a google sync apk.

you have all the apps required right? then all apps are in system/apps folder..let tat vendor folder be empty..it doesnt matter

i saw the video...but my question is you are you looking for vendor folder? you will find all apps in system folder..maybe u came from 4.0.3
I'm on 4.0.4 and i have all Apps i need.

I was actually wondering if this could be done with the file manager,i have the apk but it dose not install on any other device or the archos tablet if the rom is custom and not just stock rooted.
Archos Music 6.0.46 (which is not even yet on Google Play, nor on existing Archos devices) is now ported for installation on Android devices running 4.1 or higher:

Reboot to CWM and do a Wipe data/factory reset.

If you fail the password enough times it'll ask you for your Google account

Then the only option is to factory reset thru CWM

I want to test something. i.e. wanna test facebook messenger app. It gives unexpected error with any jelly bean rom in HTC one x.

All working fine here... Maybe you should try wiping cache,dalvik and reinstall the app

I tried everything, wiped cache, dalvik, changed firmware etc. Messenger app works with SkyDragon butt after some time it start crashing. For me it was working only with Revolution HD 9.8.0. So I want to try it again if it works or not. Btw app version 2.2.3 works fine but newer versions not.

Hmm strange..
You can flash again the stock firmware or you root your phone make a backup in recovery and replace your camera.apk or how it is called with an other one which is working. I dont know if this with replaceing will work.
Tipp: if you would flash all again or repair in pcc, root your phone and make a backup of your apps with titanium backup(you will need much less time because you dont have to install all apps again.
