HTC makes their own OS skin called sense. That is what has the extra sense widgets. Ics is straight from Google, and has the stock widgets. No launcher besides the sense launcher will have what you are looking for.

The paid version of LauncherPro does have sense-like widgets similar to those used in the actual sense ROMs. They aren't exactly the same, but they're pretty good.
They do not however have the classic HTC clock widget included. For that the best bet is fancywidget or beautiful widgets

Has anyone been working on this? I like the tw widgets and the ease of the ics widget/app drawer. If not i am pleading to the wonderful devs. Is this possible?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
You can flash Calkulin's E4GT 2 Rom. After first boot you can choose to use TWLauncher as your default launcher. If it doesn't work, go to
Settings>> Manage Applications<< Scroll down to "Launcher" and clear default

I know that.that is not what I'm asking.I'm asking about a blend between ics and tw. Using the general tw launcher with the app drawer from ics that way the tw widgets arent sized all messed up.

modifying the app drawer to behave like stock ics would have no impact on widget size.
the stock tw widgets are obviously not compatible with the ics launcher because they are made for TW. so again i would like to see a modified TW launcher with the ics app drawer....

I think there's some confusion going on here. Widgets are not all necessarily launcher specific. There are some that are optimized for a certain launcher (as in TW) but that doesn't necessarily regulate them to only being used on that specific launcher.
If you're looking for an ICS look and feel I'd recommend either Apex or Nova from the Play Store.
My personal favorite is Apex. If you're worried about keeping the widgets looking nice you can long press a widget and then resize it. You also have the ability to customize the number of rows and columns to get it feeling 100% perfect.
Nova has a lot of the same things and some people prefer it over Apex but most of the advanced features require you to buy the pro version.
Here's a screenshot of a TW optimized widget I resized in a variety of ways using Apex.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
I'm on nova and I changed the number of columns and rows to Max and added force allow to resize Widgets so I kinda have them working

Not sure but if you could figure out what the intent is to call rosie (sense app drawer) then you could possibly create a LauncherPro shortcut to open it? Any smali gods out there know if this would be possible?

That's pretty much exactly what I am doing. I use Apex Launcher as my launcher, but I have a shortcut created by xShortcuts that launches Rosie for the photo widget. Unfortunately, I don't think you can call a specific screen - you can only call the launcher itself.

Yup that's the way it is possible but man that's pretty much time you loose by opening sense just for having these sense widgets.
And you have 2 launchers running then since sense will be only killed when you reboot again.
Dunno for what you want that sense widgets but I would look at play store and see if there is a alternative widget which maybe has even a themeable skin?!

please tell me about lite weight Launcher which has OPTION of MAKING Folders inside DRAWER MENU
Other than Go Launcher Ex plz, i know it has it but it takes too much memory
currently i'm using Holo Launcher but it only allows FOLDER in Desktop Screens not inside DRAWER Apps Screen.
Holo launcher allows you to create folder tabs. This may be a plus feature though. Worth paying for imo.

iLauncher, but it doesn't have the "destkop" menu, which I kinda feel like it is useless. I think you want something like the old Nokia 5230 launcher?
Just use Lewa launcher. But it lacks of customization....

Can this be done? Is it on in ROMS other than stock? Why would it ever be disabled anyway.
Use apex or Nova launchers. No idea why anyone would stick with the touch wiz launcher
There is a mod in theme/mod section, but it may not work with ota.

Worked!!! It's called "Ultimate rotation control"
I like the Nova launcher too...it's very fast. But I somehow lost the Accuweather time widget when I went to Nova. I tried to get it form the market but it doesn't look the same. Wife's phone so I can't justify changing the appearance that much for rotations sake. Otherwise, if I could have put the same exact Accuweather widget back on, I think I would have left Nova on.
Edit: Spoke to soon. Ultimate is only free for 7 days.
2nd Edit: Found another one called "Rotation locker"
I like Holo Launcher HD. No lag, customizable, more options (like auto rotate) plus you can still use the Note 2 touchwiz widgets if you want.

That's what I did. I changed over to Nova Launcher and also Fancy Widgets to use a weather clock/widget.
I did like the Weather clock on Touchwiz but what bothered me was , having used HTC Sense for quite a while, I am used to touching the time and going to the alarm, but with Touch Wiz, no matter where I touched, I'd goto weather.
I used Apex launcher on stock. It helped until I got a phone call in my car with the phone docked. The Phone app doesn't want to rotate! :/
If you're rooted....check out the MOD TW 360 rotation
I'm running rooted deoxed TW with multi view and the MOD worked fine.

Fancy Widgets let you set what program got called depending on what you pressed but I couldn't find a widget that I was happy with.
I ended up using HD Widgets and and used one of their weather clocks. While it doesn't let you specify the programs for where you touch, it has a very nice weather page built in(even allows you to select int weather ino provider) that works when you touch any of the weather and goes to the alarm when you touch the time.
So I'm using Nova Launcher, HD Widgets and also Android Pro Widgets for things like a Timeline widget(I was using APW on Touchwiz too).
