Just noticed that I have LTE in Salt Lake City... So far, pretty impressed.

Cool story bro. Care to elaborate your point?
I believe his point is as follows:
We already have an official LTE discussion thread, every new LTE thread is getting locked, so why the hell are you cluttering up the forums with a useless thread?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
Obviously to upset self-rightious jerks like you. Didn't know you were the thread monitor. Next time you should just simply state that there is already a thread for this, like a helpful forum member would, instead of being a **** about it.

Nowhere on that page do I see a discussion about these phones getting banned, or what my topic is about. That forum is about the law suit that ended last week.

You're misunderstanding how lawsuits work. This is 100% part of the same lawsuit. They are asking the judge to issue injunctions in her final rulings to ban devices found by the jury to infringe on their (apples) patents... Nor is that law suit at all over. The final hearing is Sept. 20th I believe, and then the inevitable year plus of appeals that will follow it. I pointed you towards that thread as it's unnecessary to start a new thread for every particular filing in the case. If we did so 70% of this board would be about that lawsuit in that matter of a month or two.

What is DC? I thought it was referring to DC-HSPA at first, but being on Sprint leads me to believe you meant Washington, DC. Please name your threads properly...
Everyone knows DC is wash DC cmon bro, your comment necessary?

I see where's he's coming from. No need to call him dumb.
Most companies (who offered service in D.C.) already had 4G in D.C. whether it was HSPA+ or LTE.
Let's hope they are!
His reply was scoffing, therefore he gets one back. He can not point blank say he thinks the ops an idiot all he wants, but you can tell he thinks it in his post so IMO he may as well have said it. And again, only an absolute idiot would think the op meant anything other than Washington.

Please don't say that's an excuse for not knowing dc... cause its definitely not. That would be like us hearing Ontario and not associate it with canada.

First of all, thanks for calling me an "absolute idiot". If you read my post, I clearly spelled out "Washington, DC." That's not the problem. The problem, as I already explained, is "DC 4g" by itself is vague. I was hoping for something related to DC-HSPA+ (a different type of 4G that's not LTE, but comparable in speeds), not DC the state. If I had knew that the post would be about DC the state, I wouldn't have clicked it, because I don't live anywhere near, or care about, DC the state. Heck, if you wrote "Possible 4g testing in DC", then that would solve it, and without insulting anyone's intelligence (See? Now I know what DC means!). Even better, tag it with "[Sprint]" so that those of us on Verizon or GSM carriers can ignore it! Fewer trolls in your thread, more happiness all around. Win-win.
TL;DR: I didn't like the thread title. If I were mod, I would edit it, but I'm not. Instead, I asked politely and get called a moron. Good job.
You should probably find something more important to gripe about other than the few seconds you lost looking at this. Your time can't be that valuable considering how much time you have put into griping about it. The mods likely have more important things to concern themselves with than your individual confusion.
As for Sprint 4g in DC, it's been in some parts for about 2 months now. Started around 14th & U and spread from there. Some in MD and VA around DC. Check out Sensorly.com and S4GRU.com for more information.

I'm browsing on my phone and noticed the notification icon said 4G instead of 3G today, thinking it's just a glitch since I flashed a new rom recently, I did a speed test to make sure. Sure enough, I'm getting over 16Mbps download speed. Finally!
Seattle area users rejoice we finally have it!

How bout taking the time to read all the threads starting from the top? You do know theres a sticky about lte where folks like yourself that gets excited about lte can share it there instead of making a new thread. Imagine everyone from each state and city making a new thread about them getting lte the forum would be all cluttered up just make sure u check out the threads first before making a new one its not that hard.

Thanks for this. Did not see the sticky section on my xda app, but I see what you're talking about now. My fault. Mods please delete.

Hi all,
Thought I'd share this. While T Mobile LTE hasn't officially rolled out in the surrounding suburbs of Chicago i doubled my speed after I updated to JellyBam 7.7.0 today. It appears JellyBam enables DC-HSPA+ which means my Note 2 is connecting to 2 cell towers at once. I typically get 3 - 7 mbs. Today I noticed a DC instead of an H+. Ran a speed test and I was getting 12 - 14 mbs. Pretty awesome.

I thought you can't run n7100 on tmob US because of lack of 1700 bandwidth, but does this rom support it as well as LTE?

Wow, I didn't know all of that had occurred! I hope I didn't offend of the developers here by posting the link. I really appreciate all the work these folks do. I found something awesome and wanted to share it (especially with SGN2 users in the Chicago-land areas) thats all. I had no clue that the JellyBam dev had issues with the other XDA devs..My apologies.

Don't worry, no harm, no foul. This thread will likely be closed, but don't worry about it. It's because he's an idiot. Nothing you did. He also ports to new devices without testing and releases them, leading to boot loops and soft bricks, and just tries to solicit donations out of it.

IKR!! bet if I posted in the wrong place 20 people would have jumped all over it within 5 minutes lol. Its whatever I think I'm going sale it off and get a one or s4, the lack of support doesn't bother me but the absolute lack of interest in what is possibly the best phone out now is just crazy. This thing died faster than the bionic.
