How did you manage to install Cyanogenmod rom on locked bootloader ? You already had the fxp rom when you bricked or you wanted to install it ?

You can't have custom kernel with locked bootloader. So unlock bootloader again or flash stock on your phone and you should be fine again

No image tutorial. Plain text.
DRM keys are Digital Rights Management keys. You will lose these when you unlock your bootloader. TrackID and some other (not really important) Sony apps won't work.
So, first, go to http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/ and download the tools needed.
There you have all the steps needed to unlock bootloader.
After you've unlocked bootloader head down to the CWM thread and download the flashable file. You have the instructions at the thread.
Flash CWM and the phone will boot in CWM mode now. Remember to put the ROM you want to flash on sdcard, or put kernel.sin file so you can boot back in the system.
Download the Root.zip flashable file for cwm (you'll find it in most of the root threads), and put it in the root of storage.
Then flash the CWM through fastboot, and the phone will boot in CWM recovery.
Navigate to "Install zip from sdcard -> Choose zip from sdcard -> "root.zip" (use the volume buttons to navigate and power to select).
Select Yes and your phone will be rooted.
If you want, you can download a kernel like Advanced ICS which will autoroot your phone when you flash it.
If you don't flash another kernel, then power off the device and boot into fastboot mode, and flash kernel.sin.
Your phone will boot into the system and will be rooted

That's not how you unlock bootloader, that's how you check if your bootloader is unlockable. Head over to Bootloader Unlock thread and unlock your bootloader, then flash a CWM recovery through fastboot, and flash a kernel which will root your device.
There is Jelly Bean for our device, AOKP, CM10, PA etc etc.. Use the search button!

I have been searching the forum for a guide for rooting Xperia ZL C6502 on
10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware but there was no comprensive guide to it so I
thought of writing one.
The most important aspect of rooting the ZL is an unlocked bootloader.
To check if your bootloader is unlocked, visit http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions
After checking if your bootloader is unlocked get the unlock key from the sonymobile site and
use the Flashtool from http://www.flashtool.net/download.php and unlock the bootloader.
After the bootloader is unlocked, we need to flash a new kernel.
Download the Advance Stock Kernel from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2641695 by Gustavo RD78.
Flash the kernel using the Flashtool.
Press the Volume - and Power button to go in to TWRP Recovery.
Reboot the device from TWRP and there will be a prompt to root the device,
select yes.
Device will reboot automatically and prompt to update the SU binaries. Update it and your device is rooted.
Note that the kernel contains dual recovery. CWM as well as TWRP.
To boot to CWM press the Volume + button when the SONY logo appears and to go in the TWRP press Volume - when on SONY logo during boot.
Credits:
Thanks to Sony Mobile for providing such a beautiful phone and unlocked bootloader.
Gustavo RD78 for Advanced Stock Kernel for our device.
Flashtool Team for wonderful tool to root, flash and unlock bootloader.
CWM and TWRP for wonderful recoveries.
And all developers for their hardwork.

So I've tried to root my ZL with 4.3 now a few times with either the pre-rooted ROM by NUT and this method with unlocked bootloader - and always my phone is not useable afterwards because of random lags and reboots... :crying:
With root on 4.2 I never had any problem.
Help Please!

I unlocked my bootloader without Emma, at the official site, give it a try:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/
edit: also, I tried to update it with Emma, not sure if it worked or not, 'cuz I dont know how to check if its updated :x
I did not ask about unlocking.
The question was about updating.
Simple flashing recovery partition is impossible until it does not exist.

After flashing this I couldn't access my fastboot. Now I can't even boot to system. I'm stuck at the USB logo, where usually I could reboot to fastboot (via pressing Power & Vol +) to fix this. But now I can't even access fastboot. When I press Power & Volume Up, it shows a battery icon. Please do help @XHook.

Sorry for panicking back there. I forgot the reboot to recovery way using Power & Volume down. At least I can still boot to my system. I'll try to find a DIY solution for this. Sorry for panicking, @XHook.
Your tool uses Fastboot of 4.3 version right? Is that the difference?
no more update? camera not found, can this method by xhook solve the problem?
i've tried this version, but make my bootloader missing/bricked, same with ezrawk post
Note : When I installed this version >> 3.24.40.87 latest stock lollipop firmware

I was using a custom recovery (TWRP) at that time so I flashed a fastboot via install. If you aren't using a custom recovery, you'd probably want to check this out: Zenfone 5 A500CG, Zenfone 6 A600CG Last chance to debrick (This fix youre IMEI) by swiczak
About the flashable fastboot, try searching for it in the Help & Troubleshooting part, I think the user who upload the flashable fastboot zip was tank0412. Try PM-ing him. Sorry can't help you about this 'cause I forgot where I saved mine.
Goodluck!
