[Q] Rom with the best Battery Life - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Question is in the Title, doesn't matter what Android Version it is.

I think this is something you have to find out yourself.
Topics like these are closed within hours, as "best ROM" threads are not allowed.

As this is a very subjective question and will depend heavily on your usage pattern, there is no conclusive answer. You will have to try yourself under your conditions.

battery so garbage

MY battery keeps dieing
is there ne way to last longer
any apps
or turning off nething
etc?
Have you read any of the many threads on optimization battery life?
Have you researched a rom that meets you needs and tried that?
Have you read on the kernels and which give best battery life?
Do you have an extended battery? Have you read any threads on those?
If not you are a person that should probably buy an iphone.
That's it? My battery keeps dying is the only thing you can say? My battery dies too. I was under the impression they didn't last forever. How long they last before they die is where a problem could be. Fail...you don't even deserve an answer.

Dude, stop making threads. Seriously. Do your own damn research and if you happen to have a specific question, start a thread at that time.
There is plenty of information on here about making your battery last longer and as the previous poster said please stop cluttering up the forums with a new thread about every question you have.
Also questions go in the Q & A forum and NOT the General Forum.
If you really have questions and cant find any info by searching or looking through the forums then post a single thread with all the questions you have in the correct forum.

[Q] changing the vote on thread is not allowed?

Hi,
a simple question. when i tried to change a vote for a rom in on of the threads i found that the forum rules does not allow it.
i was wondering what is the reason for this limitation?
developers usually use the same thread for any version of their rom which can change for the best or worse.
since you cant change the vote it really create a false score for that thread.
and its not just a rom threads... even thread which filled with nothing and suddenly a new post with relevant information appears still re-rating the thread is not allowed.
so i was wondering if there is any way to change it? or any reason for it? or any way to create a better scoring for the threads?
^^ thanks~!
This limitation is in place to prevent people from abusing it and making false counts in polls in order to better advantage themselves.
Any Senior Moderator can edit a poll. if you need a poll edited, feel free to PM a Senior moderator and ask for help
but we are not talking about double rating.
we are talking about changing the previous rate
how come that would cause a misscount?
is there anyone to ask about that matter?
i really cant understand this scoring system. either i see old threads with buggy roms (for this current time) with 5 stars
or good threads with rocky start with 1 star.
this is mostly for roms but its also relevant for other threads.
what do you think
er.

Best ROM!!??

Hello guys, I am new in this, I came from a Moto Defy,
I have the chance to change phone, and now I have ONE V
My question is: Wich is the best ROM ????
With this characteristics...
-Faster!
-Best battery friendly
Thanks a lot guys!
Because of the controversy and arguments they inevitably generate, "best ROM" threads are prohibited on XDA. To determine which is best for yourself, read user feedback and better yet, try a few ROMs for yourself. Thread closed.

Best ROM for a heavy user?

For my fellow heavy users, what rom and kernel combination have you found gives you the best battery life? I'm on the go pretty much all day long, and am looking for something to last a good portion of the day while still allowing me to access it.
Thanks for any and all input!
Everyone has different opinions and thoughts and experiences cause these phones are not created equal. You need to test and play to find out what your phone likes and dislikes. Read the OP and the last 5-10 pages of a rom's thread that interests you, and you'll get an idea of what you can expect from that rom. I have a Resource thread that has all the mainly used roms and reports on them for the most part. It is stickied in the General and in my Sig.

Best Rom thread rarely remain civil... the best Rom is the one you like

[Q] Looking for recommendations

Just picked up one of these recently, hit the forum... and man... there are a lot of options.
I'm looking for a rom that's up to daily driver status, clean, fast, simple, no bells and whistles, just Android. Any general consensus on which fits the bill for this device? Doesn't look like the CM builds are quite finished and there's a ton of other stuff floating around, kinda can't tell from reading the threads for individual roms what the actual status of the rom is or sometimes what features one even has for certain.
What's the word on the street?
First things first Questions go in the Q&A section not in the General section.
Second thing XDA is a development site not a support site. As such members are expected to do the research, read through the development threads and decide what is BEST for them. The only results that would be posted here are what each member has found to be BEST for them by experimentation based on their phone/usage/setup/apps/signal strength. Please take the time to read through those development threads to learn all about the software you are about to drastically alter your very expensive device with.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
