[GUIDE] How To Make Flash Player Work.

THIS IS A GUIDE FOR THOSE WHO LOSSES THE LIB FILES IN DATA/DATA/COM.ADOBE.FLASHPLAYER/LIBS AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT INSTALLED ADOBE FLASHPLAYER.
Phone Must Require Root Access (Search How To Root a Galaxy Y)
Download Adobe Flash Player Libs.zip and Flash Player.apk (Attatched)
1. Go to /system and open Build.prop (Use Root Explorer)
2. Look for media.stagefright.enable-player=false
3. Change it to media.stagefright.enable-player=true
4. Reboot Your Phone.
5. Install Flash Player.apk
6. After reboot extract Adobe Flash Player Libs
It has two files in a folder 1. libflashplayer.so 2. libstagefright_froyo.so
7. Next open Root Explorer and copy/move the 2 files to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/libs/PUT IT IN LIBS
8. Change the permissions of the 2 files as rw-r--r--
9. Change the permissions of the folder libs to r-xr-xr-x
10. Change the permissions of the folder com.adobe.flashplayer to r-xr-x--x
IT SHOULD NOW WORK.... AND IF YOU REBOOT LIB FILES WILL NOT BE DELETED.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO POST THIS ON OTHER SITES. I DONT WANT ANYONE TO COPY THIS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION BECAUSE PLENTY OF PEOPLE POST THIS WITHOUT GIVING ME PROPER CREDITS.
Ive seen before this on other thread, forum, and blog..
Should i tell to other to give credit to u coz ur "REAL DEV" for mod of flashplayer??

Yeah. From this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1744950
The OP gave 2 lib files to push and that threads OP gave 4, So this is a bit different..
Actually i discovered this. When installing flashplayer i downloaded four libs two of them are the posted and one is like libhoneycomb and the other is like that.. so i thought i will delete theme since honeycomb and the other one is unsupported by galaxy y. Then i saw the title with stage fright.. i remembered there was something on build.prop that had xxxxx=false so i change it to true. Then i thought of something like write . So with curiosity i tried removing write permission on the 2 folders since it deletes the lib. So thats how... I just want to post what i discovered
Edit. The post you give with the 4 libs, permission needs to be edited when reboot. Mine does not need that it does not dissapear like the other thread.

I have 4lib from ver10.. When im port it to ver11 flash still working.. With only 2lib flash working too.. So should we need add 2lib again to make flash working??
The question is not for lib or app but is OP build this with his own hand from raw or only make compile from other DEV work then share..
To OP thanks u share this but im only concern with "credit to him if we share to other forum/blog" coz its look like OP build this stuff so if its not his work then i share to other then give credit to OP i think "maybe" real DEV will laugh or maybe got mad to me.. It gives me parsing error. the installation
1) you need to remove the stock apk for gmail from either /system/app folder or /data/app folder depending on rom. Use root explorer to get to the file with gmail logo and delete.
2) reboot phone and place the above provided app (gmail2.apk) in the folder where you removed other version(stock gmail apk in step 1)
3) change permission and check all for read on left column and write on the top in the middle column. Uncheck everything else.
4) after permissions have been changed. Click on the gmail2.apk and install.

AOSP browser without root (yes you read that right) 4.3

I have a method to install the aosp browser without any root privileges at all and no modifications of the system partition. Just involves installing 2 or 3 apks (depending if you want bookmark syncing). This should work on any of the other nexus devices that came without stock browser. This is also an improvement over the root method as it does not break OTA updates even on rooted devices.
Please don't repost this yet. I want to add in the other languages to browser.apk for the "find on page" button in the menu. I fixed English. The stock nexus roms don't have the string in framework-res for this one button.
Download zip (this is not a cwm package/just extract it or open the files from inside)
http://www.mediafire.com/download/sp3778itcps5iq1/aospbrowser-noroot-blackhand1001.zip
Steps:
1. Use es file manager to browse to system/app and install browserproviderproxy (it will say app not installed, don't worry it worked)
2. Reboot (it will not work without rebooting first)
3. Install Browser4.3_blackhand1001.apk
4. Install ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter_blackhand1001.apk (this will give you bookmark syncing)

Updated it so the autocomplete dropdown no longer has the blue line glitch. The style definition for the dropdown is missing on the stock nexus 7 rom so I copied it and put it in the browser itself and pointed to it there.
Added User agent selection in advanced preferences.
Full screen option in labs.
when u say install browserproviderproxy in system/app, do you mean install the one found in the nexus7 directory, or the one in your zip file?

Its not going in the system folder. You navigate to folder and open the existing apk to install it. It does not effect OTA updates. I just included another copy of the file for those who don't know where that folder is.

ZIPme [APP] flashable ZIP maker

Hello, guys. I'm sharing with you the app ZIPme, it allows you to create a flashable backup ZIP of anything! Build.prop, boot animation, system fonts, accounts, messages, wallpaper, Wi-Fi, apks, apks+data, only data etc.
It's really easy, I added some screenshots to you.
Tested in:
Xperia U | Xperia P
Note: if you test tell me to add in list
Hope you like!
Words of developer (JRummy Apps):
ZIPme is in beta. This means there will be bugs and some hiccups.
ZIPme is a powerful tool to create update ZIP packages to install in recovery. Whether you are a ROM developer or just getting into "root" and "ROMs" ZIPme can simplify your life.
Who should use ZIPme?
If you install custom ROMs on your rooted Android device then ZIPme can be a powerful tool. ZIPme requires root access.
What does ZIPme do?
ZIPme creates ZIP packages to install in recovery mode. When you install a new ROM your system is wiped and many times you clear your data. ZIPme can create a package of your apps, data and files you want to install right after a ROM or as a ROM addon. ZIPme programs and signs the update ZIP package so your recovery can install it.

But how to make a init.d flashabel?
If I choose init.d there is no option to insert a init.d file.
It goes straight to make a zip.
Edit;
Found it...
It make a zip with the init.d scripts already on the rom.
So I can insert later a script.
Thanks for your work.
Working fine.
