Try turning off wifi optimization. I think that should solve your problem. I had that issue a while back also.

Which channel is your wifi broadcast at?
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
Try removing all remembered access points and rescan.

In your router set the Wi-Fi settings to mixed and make sure you have low signal unchecked under phone and try using the 5ghz setting. Mine doesn't like being in the 2ghz and is faster on 5 also.

Does Wi-Fi calling always disable when phone deep sleeps?

It seems Wi-Fi calling disconnects when i leave my phone unused for a period of time. I'm thinking it disconnects when the phone deep sleeps. It usually takes 30 secs or so to reconnect.
This seems to happen on the 4 or so roms I've used in the last 4 or 5 months, but currently I'm using superbeast and TWRP recovery.

It's probably because your wifi is disconnecting when your phone sleeps. You need to change your wifi settings to keep wifi on during sleep.

i just double checked...It's set to always stay on. And it's not the Wi-Fi that turns off, just Wi-Fi calling.

I ended up turning my wifi calling off cause I can't ever hear anyone when it's on. This is the only phone I've ever had a problem with it on. As far as yours disconnecting when the phone sleeps, I have seen it before a few times but it usually reconnected immediately so I'm not sure if it's an ICS issue or what

[Q] note 2 wifi issue on at&t

i just bought the galaxy note 2.. love the phone' however i cant stay connected to my wifi for some reason it connects them a minute later goes back into 4g mode please help...
I thought it was the phone so replaced it... same issue how ever it will connect to att hotspots.. go figure thanks
I'd say check your router first. Mine at home is a pain sometimes with my sons' ipod touches plus desktop plus netbook plus tablet plus my phone sometimes it drops. We end up turning it off for a few seconds which fixes it. Overload I guess?
There is also a known issue with the att wifi app. I forget what is called because i got rid of it a long time ago but it seems to be a culprit in some cases a well. You could find it if you search the forums I'm sure.

Had a similar issue... dropping of wifi radio... the workaround when using the ATT wifi manager was to go into the phone's wifi menu and disable power saving... *#0011# select menu... then wifi submenu.
Or.. just freeze or remove the ATT wifi app and use Smart WiFi Toggler from Google Market... works well!

Disable att smart wifi. That works for me.
Definitely a router issue. I use WPA2 PSK with DHCP and I haven't had any issues. I have had problems in the past using WEP with my phones. Once I changed to WPA it was fine. Maybe try that.

Thank you, this worked, I think removing the latest update for AT&T smartwifi did it for me, whatever I now have wifi again.
I'll take a look at Smart Wifi Toggler

[Q] wifi disconnects when screen off

Hello,
I flashed Calkulins ROM a few weeks ago. I have noticed recently that whenever i turn the screen on that my phone is connected to 3G. This is despite the fact that i was connected to wifi previously. No issue with the wifi router. Any ideas or suggestions to resolve this issue.
Thank you in advance.
Settings > WiFi > Advanced (by pressing the menu key) > Keep WiFi on during sleep. Choose "always"
