Micromax A68 ClockWorkMod (CWM) Recovery 5.5.0.4

Some good news. CWM recovery has been ported to work on Micromax A68. Let me remind you that Micromax A68 is based on MediaTek MT6575 chipset (or maybe another variant of it, since it doesn’t have 3G modem) and runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Credit for this CWM recovery image of Micromax A68 goes to me. If you need any help in flashing it or encounter any error, please leave a comment.

Procedure To Install CWM Recovery
WARNING: Performing this procedure in a wrong way may brick your phone. We shall not be responsible for any damage. Always keep a backup!
1. Make sure your phone is rooted. If you haven’t done so, click here to root your A68.
2. Download CWM recovery for A68 from here. Extract the archive, place recovery.img file on root of your SD Card. It also has scatter file for A68, in case you want to use SP Flash tool.
3.Download MTK Mobileuncle Tools from Google Play and install it.
4. Open Mobileuncle Tools, grant it superuser permissions and choose “Recovery Update”. Select the recovery.img file from SD card and let it do the job.
Turn off your phone and restart in recovery mode to see if CWM shows up.

Press Volume UP + Power button
If it doesn’t work, do this to open recovery mode.

2. Press volume up button. You will get into recovery.

Why you are touching soft home button? It will not work on cwm.

Even if you don't touch the soft key till Nothing works it stuck on micromax screen.

It's working with all the option like update from sd card, wipe factory data, wipe dalvik cache and advanced option. I have one question may be it is not related to CWM i.e. I have removed some system apps like hookup, micromax store etc through titanium backup but even after to hard reset this apps are not still not installed ???

You need the stock backup to restore your system apps.

it seems u didn't followed the steps.
Do u have root access? because if your phone is booting in 3e recovery it means cwm is not flashed properly.
u cal also use sp flash tool as an alternative...

I've flashed TWRP, then got the "secure error", haven't try CWM yet, but I think the same problem will appear.

What's this security error? I rooted, deleted all the Korean stuff, no errors.
got it just pasted the command in terminal and now im getting secure boot error and cant boot
will do all that again and this time will try to type.

Will boot on the P930 just no radio and the orientation is messed up. I was able to pull the IMG files but failed in making a bootable zip along with porting to the P930, my zip wouldn't get past the Optimus LTE screen. The only way it would work was from the kdz. Oh well I am sure someone smarter than me can figure it out.

I had the same problem until I returned to Gingerbread then everything was fine again. So just use the unbricking guide.

Yes or anyone of the P936 GB ROMs reinstall CWM recovery and restore your backup. There is something about those ROMs that fix weird problems including the issue with installing v30c on a Nitro killing the radio. I had the same issue and had no radio in v18f or v20c once I installed the kdz for GB my radio came back. Worth a try better than being without your phone while you wait for the warranty.

Yes try another one if memory serves v10f that is out in the wild as a kdz is an su640 ROM and not a P93x ROM so it may not do the trick. Also try going into call & wireless settings and change network mode to GSM only and then WCDMA preferred that should kick start it.

What did you do with your phone?
Is it a gsm or a cdma phone?
Is it root?
Did you change the rom?

That's not an error. Every body has that. You need to flash both rom and kernel

plz try to help meh iths under warrently its gsm network actually ma frd gave diz mobile i dont think so its rooted r not but i can see recovery menu while pressing power button nd volume down... nd fastreboot when m tryin to reboot ma fone in recovery menu its say NO OS on diz mobile :crying:

Go into recovery, mount usb storage and connect it to the computer. Copy the rom you want in your sd card, then unmount. Do a factory reset, and install the rom trough recovery. Then boot into fastboot, take kernel on pc and flash it. If you need more help, find me on hangouts or gtalk, it's easier to help there. I'll pm you my email.

I'll help here then even if it's slow.
Your phone is not bricked, it just doesn't have a rom in it. If you can't mount usb storage, try taking the micro sd out and use an adapter to connect it to the computer, or try another sd. When you manage to open the micro sd on the computer, you need to copy a rom in it.
Each rom has its kernel, so when you download a rom, check the thread for the kernel that goes with it. You MUSTN'T flash other phone 's roms. You are gsm so you can find the roms in HTC One V android development and original android development. The cdma section is not for us gsm. Download the rom you like and its kernel. Copy the rom in your micro sd, unplug it and put it in your phone. Now boot into recovery. Do a factory reset, or if you have twrp recovery wipe everything but not the sd. Now go to install zip, and select the rom in your micro sd and install it. Now you have to flash the kernel. Reboot into fastboot mode and connect the phone to the pc. It should say fastboot usb. On the pc, open cmd and locate the folder where you put the kernel. I have a fastboot folder on desktop where I put all the kernels, so I type cd Desktop/fastboot. Now, in cmd type "fastboot devices" if it gives you some numbers you can go on and flash the kernel, if it says "waiting for device" you have to install fastboot drivers. Once you get fastboot devices working, you can flash kernel. Type "fastboot flash boot nameofkernel.img" and wait for it to complete (it takes 2 seconds maybe). Done, reboot your phone and wait for it to boot up. First boot takes some minutes!

Hello! In this tutorial I'll show you how to flash latest stock ROM to your Android-based Nokia smartphone WITHOUT Nokia Data Package Manager.

computer with ANY operating system and properly installed ADB and fastboot
working Internet connection

Remove the back plate of your Nokia smartphone.

On sticker you'll see CODE, which identifies your smartphone's model and distribution region. Note it, because you'll need it for downloading ROM. For mine NX it's 059T9D8, which means my telephone is from Polish distribution. If curious, you can check it here.
Go to http://cellomania.com/ffu/. Type your product code and press "OK" button. Webpage will refresh and it will be slowly filled with all files available for your device.
Download all files you'll need to restoring original system. Their names are ending with *.img extension. For full restoration of stock ROM you'll need files for these partitions:

Connect your smartphone to computer, launch your favourite shell/terminal and reboot phone to recovery:

adb reboot bootloader
Go to directory where you downloaded ROM images and use fastboot to flash ROMs, for example:

fastboot -i 0×0421 flash system RM980_1.2.4.1_system.img
Erase userdata and cache:

fastboot -i 0×0421 erase cache
After successfully flashing of ROMs reboot your phone with this command:

please i use a windows 7 pc and i have downloaded the recoveries files from that site.........please i would need proper guide as i don't seem understand where and how to go about the above codes.Please ur assistance would be highly welcome. My nokia x2 ds with cm custom all of a sudden got stuck at the nokia logo. I am sure i didn't temper with any system file.

If you have already downloaded recovery partition image and you have problem with adb/fastboot commands, it might be easier to use Nokia X Flasher

The Nokia flasher download link isn't working and I use Nokia x2 not Nokia x or xl... Do you think it matters?

I tried it yet can't detect my device... Though my laptop could still read my phone as Nokia drive.... Am a bit confuse

I didn't saw any flashing tool for Nokia X2, I guess you'll need to manually use fastboot utility :d
Next time ask at Nokia X2 forums :G

It's not the first time am using the nokia care suite to do recovery...I ve done recovery several times ....but it is not working this time....it returns with an error when i try to do recovery with NCS ....I have installed the Nokiax tool but nothing seems to be working....or is it cos I was using CM11?

Installed ROM has nothing to it and Nokia X Toolkit isn't working with Nokia X2, because it isn't the same phone. Flash ROM manually with tutorial in OP, just skip

I downloaded the latest twrp from their official page. I opened Odin, pressed the AP section and the only thing I can add is the zip. Im also using the latest usb 3.0 that connects to my device and also connects to my computer. No luck whatso ever

Found his main download page. I put the weta_pie_t83x in the AP of Odin. Just started. Idk the outcome yet

And you do have SmartSwitch installed ? As that install the correct Samsung driver ? And you are using the USB C cable that came with the Tab S4 ? As some third party cable have issues!

You don't flash zips through Odin like that. Those files are flashed in TWRP. Plus weta_pie is the Custom ROM. You need the kernel.

No, you don't flash the kernel like that. however It looks like things may have changed since I rooted. And the version of WETA Kernel I used isnt available anymore unless im blind.
Regardless Ill go over how I did it and hopefully that helps you.
First I flashed twrp-3.3.1-0-gts4lwifi.img to AP in Odin (Make sure you boot into TWRP right after you finish flashing or it will be overwritten with stock.)
Then formatted the data partition
Then rebooted back into recovery
Then flashed Forced Encryption Disabler V2 in TWRP
Finally WETA_Kernel_T83x_v4.0 to the boot partition.
My device would hang on the Samsung logo but hard resetting it would do the trick.
I do have these files however im not sure if im allowed to post them here.
Note: Apologies if my formatting and typing is strange ive been up all night trying to fix my sleep schedule.

That is the right version of TWRP but the flashing is failing on Setup Connection. Make sure you're using the original Tab S4 cable, Running Odin 3 as Admin, and have the Samsung USB Drivers installed

This is how i rooted my LTE Tab S4 SM-T835!!
I downloaded my files from here --> https://mega.nz/#F!OolGXaSB!h-dK8fm5FLXgoKi9-5U0OQ
1st, --> you do this --> Boot up fully, connect to internet and open dev settings and check oem unlock is checked.
2nd, --> Boot into download mode and flash WETA_Pie_T83x_Root+TWRP.tar in Odin. Don't let it boot to system, boot straight into TWRP.
3rd, --> Flash T83x_PIE_encryptdisabler_+++.zip
4th. -->Format data in TWRP
5th. -->Reboot to recovery/TWRP
6fh. -->Reboot to system
