I removed mine, the screen is a fingerprint magnet. Might want to put a screen protector with an oleophobic coating.

Yes you can remove it. It won't damage it

I'd recommend to put another screen protector if you remove because lots of people who got rid of it had touch screen problems layer

Well on spizzys thread he said that some of his friends that removed it their touch screen alignment was off
After a couple of months and sometimes things would get pressed even without touching it.

Well I guess if you take really good care of it there won't be a problem but if you take it off I'd still recommend placing another on in its spot

[ion] Smartdock hdmi out screen size issue with JB

I use my ion as a HTPC with the smartdock. I've noticed that since I installed JB when I fire up the ion and view it on the TV the scaling is off. the edges are being cut off. Top, bottom and edges. It's not bad but still annoying. There are no settings on the TV to adjust the size.
Never had this issue with ICS. Can anyone else confirm the same issue?

You can edit the resize in setting when connecting it through HDMI I think...forgot through SERVICE or through setting in notification

No have to look for the setting to adjust the screen. I'll try to remember to do that later today.

Is there a way to remove a small scratch?

I dont have a screen protect that's for sure... I found a 5mm scratch ony screen and another 3mm scratch too, i was wondering if there any way to hide/remove them please. I searched some methods but they mentioned that it only works on non-touch devices.
Any help or thoughts is appreciated thanks.

[Q] Weird bug with playing any kind of media

Eventually it seems that my G3 always enters a state where hitting the play button in any media app (spotify, npr one, youtube, etc) doesn't really work. It'll play the audio for a split second and then immediately pause. I can hit play again and the same thing will happen. The only way to fix it so far seems to be rebooting. Any ideas what could cause this?
I sorry bro not having that issue. Are u using a case or a screen protector?

Yep, using the iCarez glass screen protector. I'm not sure that that's the issue though, since a restart fixes things.

I know their was a way to turn on a feature to show screen touch points. Meaning if it was you would see the touch points messing up your video playback and confusing the phone. You might have bad hardware.

For cheap screen protectors, I have to admit, they rock.
Edit: I'm talking about the non glass ones.

Just to follow up on this, looks like it was caused by an app misconfigured to use accessibility to watch media notifications instead of the new notification API in kitkat. Things seem to be okay now.
