So, I have an Optimus G (not the Pro) but I love the interface of the G Pro's camera. Would anybody be able to post the .apk for it?
Here you go. The camera and gallery. I checked for anything else relating to it but didn't find anything else. I'm not responsible for what this may or may not do to your phone in a negative way. But if it works, YAY!!!

If you really don't want to use it, yes.
Well do a backup whit titanium or someting and unistall the file that way if someting goes wrong you can install it again

Yes you can download a app called system tools, back it up then remove it.
Yup, with GV as your voicemail there's no need to keep the stock Voicemail app on your phone. Just make sure to confirm that your voicemail really is working through GV first.
I did it, and I never saw a problem.

What about the camera focus sound? The last time I checked there is only the sound file for camera capture.
I have been searching around the web but could not find any answer to that. Is it impossible to remove camera focus sound?

Thanks for clarifying it for me. I was on my phone and didn't get the chance to put slashes
Hoping that a ROM implements a disable shutter noise. I remember this being in a CM7 kang.
Thanks for the response!

+1.... if removing two files or renaming them is too difficult then i really don't know why they're doing modifications to their system if they can't do such a simple task.
then when they have troubles with something, they can't figure it out.

I got it installed earlier and it's working fine.
On the forum someone said to set permission to:
rw-r--r
But by default its set to:
rwxrwxr-x
So I changed it to rw-r--r
I'm just curious how is the permission supposed to be set and how is it affected?

It has to be rw-r--r if you are manually pushing it. If its not Android will go F*$K THAT! And then it won't run. It may work with the extra permission set. I has to be 644 or 755

The permissions being set tell android that it is ok to run an app. If the permissions are not set right it simply wont run, install, or show up at all. Android will say no.

That's weird because after installing by default permission was:
rwxrwxr-x
I checked, it was running fine no problem...
I just changed it to rw-r--r
Now, rwx = read/write/execute
So giving an app more accessibility I figured only let it do more not less?
Btw, I'm not saying your wrong, since this is the first time manually fixing permission, I'm trying to understand it...
It is working great. Thanks.

What should the permissions be? Also, if I delete the odex file, will it write a new one on boot?
Edit: When I placed your file into the system/app folder, phone rebooted before I could do anything with the permissions or odex file. All seems fine, but still would like to have the above answered.

That's because the dimensions of the picture to be sent have not been changed, to send a higher resolution picture they would need to be changed to 2580x2048 for 5mp (which personally is a great size right around 1mb, and for 13mp it would need to be 4208x3120 (which is huge). Would be nice to have the dimensions changed for a greater resolution MMS.
