Have you tried changing them to custom icons I'm using kgill7 soft keys and never had a issue until now

They're is a zip in the themes section... DL to PC just delete the sony apps in the zip and put on SD...

If you are on a stock ROM you have to decompile SystemUI.apk located in /system/app and replace images in drawable-xhdpi
Just root and use metamorph. Works fine for me on JB 4.2.1 AOKP and other ROMs. There is a thread here that has a bunch of the soft key packs that you use with metamorph. Just do a search.

Candy shop port Coming Soon. If u don't know about it...do a search on XDA Candy shop... Can't wait to get the mods over here. I will have to convert folders so it will be a process. But 100% will be converting mods over a few at a time.

Yes but u need to be rooted and u should be on a compatable kernel. I'm on 4.3 and Franco kernel.

Download the r178 bcoz only that is compatable for now and remember you should buy the premium version of touch control bcoz that is updated to work with 4.3
And the free one had not updated to work with 4.3 I think. So check it out yourself
