up your voltages try a different kernel, need more info then your vague posts, and respond to posts to get more help.
You're going to have to give us more info than that. Are you rooted, underclocking? What app are you using?
If it's from specifically one person, might be an issue from their end?

His picture shows faux kernel so he's rooted and Faux kernel is spotty and old and I think undervolted naturally so I'm going with his phone isn't capable of running it on boot.
At this point I'm open for any kernel suggestions . sorry for such a vague post that's why I posted a screenshot hoping that would help as far the app I'm using my standard text app gonna give KT747 Kernel a go

hello ive been trying out all the kernels for the T-Mobile S3. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note and the new kernel for that just came out and I am getting better scores on the Note then i am on the S3 but I thought the S3 i ssuppose to have a better faster CPU then the note. Im getting about 6500 on the S3 using AnTuTu Benchmark . The Note is giving me about 7500 . So Im just wondering what Kernel will be the best as of right now for the S3. The S3 is fast no matter what score it gives me but im disabled and cant move around too much and get boared so i just tweek on all my Android toys and I wont lie I have a iPad 3 too to kill time. Thanks in advance to who ever points me in the right direction. Thanks again. :cyclops:

I tried versions 8 and 9, and both break support for my 64gb sd card. It tries to mount and then says Safe to remove immediately. Restoring to stock fixes it.

I would definitely try Trinity 45b. Using Quadrant standard, I'm getting better scores at the same cpu frequency as stock kernel. The wifi signal and connections has been immensely improved. Night and day improvement. Wifi calling works, solid now. Effin sweet. I would definitely give this one a shot. I'm really trying to find some fault with it but it's getting hard.

This is in the wrong section. Also, your phone is different from others. What works for me may not work for you. Why not just drop each step 5 or 25, and see of there's problems. If not problems arise, keep going.

Well he's right. From my experience, every phone handles different voltages even at the same clocks. You have to play with it and see what works for you. Drop them all by 25, play with it for a while, and if you don't get any lockups or reboots, drop it 25 more. Keep playing with it until you find the lowest you can go for each voltage.

Sorry if this has been asked but I'm wondering if any of you guys are using Tegrak overclock with this device on stock kernel. I'm using it with my E4GT on stock kernel and I'm getting this device on Thursday and really want to continue to use the app. The developer says it works but hasn't updated it since December. Thanks.

It is an app in the play store called Tegrak overclock that simply let's you overclock your cpu and gpu and it works on stock kernels. Of course you have to be rooted. It has worked wonders on my s2 and really look forward to using it on the note. The developer of the app says it works and I was just wondering about any user feedback from this forum.

Yeah but over in the E4GT forums we were having that problem too but what ended up happening was we weren't loading the overclock module 1st which is how it actually works. Did you try that?
Edit: My bad. I didn't read that right I guess. If you had the paid version I guess you knew what you were doing. Although the only way we were able to see registered speeds was either an app called system tune too. Guess I'll just have to wait till I get the device and try it.

Have you tried clearing the data and cache for the gallery in app manager? Its been fixing the lag for most ppl. There's some junk sticking in there after the update that causes the lag while the system sorts thru it.

Totally read that wrong. I've been using tegrak since the og epic 4g. I was the one who commented on the e4gt forums when everybody was amazed about it and was like uhh you guys are late. When I would overclock, it wouldn't show it as overclocked and all my benchmarks were still the same and it showed my cpu clocked at the factory setting from the benchmark app. Yes i know you have to load the module lol... It's not even necessary on this beast of a phone though.

Lol I thought your name looked familiar. Actually there are a lot of familiar people over here which is awesome because that's one of the reasons I didn't want to leave the E4GT. But I know it's gonna be a great phone and it looks like development is really starting to take off over here and I'm sure it's only going to get better.

I see people are able to use these governors, but I can never get my phone to be stable for more than a few minutes before rebooting. Am I doing something wrong? Running vanilla rootbox and kt747 kernel

So I've heard/read. But I still see people saying they've got it working and reports good battery life. But it begs the question, why include the governors if they're known to fail? So my only thought is there must be some way to get them working

Got me there I've seen some devs remove them so they aren't synced and some just don't bother wasting their time with it I guess. I'm not big on kernels as is so, hopefully someone else will step in or you can research more for yourself I guess.

I wasn't really able to find much research. Then again I'm trying to search on my phone as I'm away from a computer.... But yeah, some little more knowhow would be appreciated. Pegasusq was a quad core governor I believe and somehow tailored to dual core... At least so I've heard

Try to do a clean wipe and clean install again. It might help with it being laggy. I usually do a full wipe and clean install every 2 months, even when using the same rom, That's just me.
POWERED by the MASTER!
Ive tried odining back to complete stock and wiping everything and then flashing the rom. It seems to do it at random. A reboot seems to fix the issue for a few hours. It's only done it once or twice so far today.
