I9505 MEA Update successful on m919.. go get it! - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I just want to give a heads up and tips to anyone out there that wants this app to SD and the fix of purple smearing. I went ahead and flashed the rom over from the i-9505 forum and not only did it boot but it is super smooth fixes all the smearing issues(for me atleast) and no T Mobile crap. I highly recommend this to everyone it comes with no modem so it is safe and I still maintain 4G speeds even though it says 3G an H plus. I'm only recommending this for the T Mobile version I think there is a different process if you want this on the AT&T version because of the locked bootloader.
Plus I love WANAMS roms all credit.goes to him im just posting my findings and what I think is just pure awesome!
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/...e/GT-I9505_WanamLite.XXUBMEA.V1.1.NO-WIPE.zip
Just flash like any other rom with all the appropriate wipes..

Seems very smooth, liking the app to SD so far and dual camera does turn on but lags sooooo bad it is unusable. Oddly enough the base band is still MDL but the camera seems to succeed in updating the camera software. Also the transparent status bar on homepage is nice too.

Good find. Just flashed his newest kernel over my previous install wiped cashes ect., fixed permissions and everything works great.

Just installed WANAMS Rom and it is awsome Now i have move to SD enabled and the black dialer is great also
Thanks!

This method also works for Omega V5. Better still, I dirty flashed Omega and then flashed the ktoonz kernel, rebooted and everything is working great, plus I didn't have to set all my stuff up again.

Omega is a International ROM and Ktoonez is a kernel.

Know anywhere I can download the deodexed but fully stock MEA zip flashable? Coming from Note 10.1 N8000 Darkman always makes the latest stock deodexed CWM flashable ROMs.

Is there a trick to get Samsung acct to sync I have tried a couple of MEA Roms and same issue everything else works but that says sync error works fine on Tmobile Roms.

What steps are yall using to flash it?

It say on the title page for Samsung hub you can only sync 5 seperate devices at a time and you can only unselect 1 device every 30 days. Maybe you are at your limit with all the flashing and syncing.

It should 1.1 worked fine. Just make sure you flash a TMobile kernel right after the Rom. I like k's kernel because he made it specifically for TMobile phones running MEA Roms. EDIT. I dont see a WanamLite 1.3 in his thread. Just make sure it is for the S4 and not another device or you can really mess your phone up.

S4 Google Edition Flashable Rom

UPDATE
Android 4.2.2 v6
Working: All with amazing battery life
Not working: Google Wallet (force close)
Again, not my work, just helping the community!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341794
Same setup - should work on T-MO.
Just an update about the new 4.3 GPe: External SD Card is readable when you plug it into your PC. The camera however still does not read the SD card. All else is still functioning.Version 4.3 will break root! All versions of SU currently do not work with 4.3. Just keep that in mind.
You can flash this over your current 4.2.2 Google Edition. If you're coming from TW, do a complete wipe, then flash. Thanks
____________________________________________________________________
No - I did not grab the system dump myself
Yes - I have tested this for the TMO variant and it's fully functioning
I did create a Youtube Video on how to install the Google Edition S4. Check it out!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmYpkJ27WAM
Althought it's not a ROM built from scratch or a project of any kind, it is a rom all in itself straight from the S4 GE
(Updated Link) - Thanks to luckyduck69 for posting a new mirror. Previous Link crashed XD.
If you're interested in the GE (VERSION 4.2.2), download here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5nz662i2y826kwd/google-edition-bg.zip
As always, make a backup, wipe, then flash.

So far, seems fine! I miss the "long press back to kill app" feature, but I can live without it as I play with this ROM.
Thanks for the link! After flashing this ROM will all software/firmware on the phone be identical to that on the GPe handset? Or are there any other bits that aren't contained in the ROM?
I'm wondering that too. This is stable? Wipe system/data/cache and flash?
I did a wipe flashed and then had to reboot to get WiFi
going, other than that so far so good .feels smooth, but it could be a placebo effect not sure

Not a problem. After flashing this direct port, I've noticed that my Model number changed to GT-I9505G, but my baseband remains the same (MDL), As it appears, everything is fully functioning from that of the GPe. To be clear, no errors, force closes, or mis-haps have occured.

I'm not sure wi-fi calling is known to work even on the real GPe, is it? I thought it might be specific to TMo/TW ROM somehow. I guess only GPe reviewers know at this point.
I was referring more to general wi-fi capability, I saw some guys saying that didn't work with the GPe system dump on TMo handset.

I think they're still calling this JB because the only new feature besides the camera is bluetooth low energy, I'm sure there's got to be code optimizations and other small things, but those are apparently the only new things.

Guys, this works pretty decently, at least from what I have used thus far. One big change in this from the GE 4.2.2.... no TW guts.... Kiesexe in system/app is gone, and there is no TW framework in system/framework. This is pure'er' than the previous GE build

I flashed this to my Virgin Mobile phone to get root and be on MD4, http://rwilco12.com/downloads.php?d...H-L710)/Stock ROMs/JB/MD4/Full Restore/Rooted
I wasn't able to use a custom recovery until this was released yesterday, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391616
The other recoveries would flash just fine (I could install them but they couldn't read any storage) but they wouldn't mount anything. This recovery works perfectly.
I tried all the stable versions up until 10.1.0, some other guy with my same issue tried 10.0 and no dice.

Also saw a post that said something about the t03g being a clone? Now im worried about fraud on this device. Anyone have any info on this being a fraud or was that one post just misleading? Its labeled as a Samsung note 2 nd all software shows its a Samsung Note2 and all CWM and rotting images worked fine so far.
Do I need to do something special to get it to install? Any info is appreciated.
Edit: It seems the t03g was due to using that devices as a recovery my mistake from another thread. I used Rom manager to install the correct CWM and it was fine after that. Just FYI if people need it.
Thanks,

Art (android run time) is supposed to help speed up android apps and processes. Faster boot, app launching, tasks, scrolling, loading, etc. In the future it may replace dalvik. Right now its in developmental stage.

Hi. Thought I'd share this link I found on G+ with you guys. It's an unofficial build of cm11(KitKat) for T Mobile Galaxy Note 2. I own the Att I317 but I'm going to give this a try later. I believe this should work on my device also.

Q. Looking for a ROM close to stock no bloatware with tethering and call recording.

Looking for a ROM close to stock no bloatware with tethering and call recording.
Any recommendations? Im not looking for fancy art and blue font. I've downloaded a few already that suck.
Just got my note 3 today. Would like to root and install a ROM just as you mentioned. Stock with working tether and ability to delete the bloat I dont want.

Why not use stock rooted and customize it with xposed? Tethering has a workaround on this forum that seems to work for many people and using xposed with wanam you can enable call recording. Use titanium backup to freeze any apps you don't want.

Flash any rom in recovery and then flash this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50177141
afterwards to get rid of 600+MB of bloatware, the option is yours on what you want to remove.

Cool thanks +3, would also like to upgrade to 4.4.2 or 4.4.3.
xposed seems to crash my system every time I try to install it.
Id hold off on flashing non tmobile 4.4.2 til an official release, else youll be stuck on that bootloader for awhile. Im thinking we should see an official release of 4.4.2 soon..

This is not true, I have Vision 4.4.2 built and working, and you can roll back to 4.3 no problem....and when this so called official release does hit, that would be the one that will lock you into 4.4.2, until a dev gets ahold of it and does their thing. Be careful....
You do NOT want to do an upgrade over the phone, that is a sure way to get stuck on 4.4.2.......

WiFi tether router by Fabio. Search on the play store, costs 2 bucks or so and totally worth it. Follow his directions on his page, there's a link from the play store.

Wicked V5 and chose the stock theme in Aroma..... you don't have to activate X posed or Wanam if you don't want to. I think it's as close to debloated/stock and stable you can get. Everything works fine for me. No crashes/no FC's nothing. Wifi calling/tethering. ..... and then you can flash DD Blacked out stock theme and it's just Tits.......
