Is it possible to have Samsung like pull down notification inside the app on xperia s??
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
if you mean by the toggles (wifi, data, gps etc) , you can do that, but need to mod the systemui and framework
I mean like pull down the statusbar
Not changing the status bar itself....

He means accessing the statusbar from an app or game like you can do in a Samsung phone... You can pull dwn the statusbar while you are still inside a fullscreen app.. Framework mod I think...

There was a way to fix blinking without enabling navbar, it was something about changing hw layers in build prop

Fix Screen Blinking:
Find in build prop and change
Code:
debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer
from 3 to 0
Code:
debug.composition.type
to gpu
Code:
dev.pm.dyn_samplingrate

Reboot.

If u're on odexed rom dont push the android.policy jar on ur framework, or u will get bootloop.
Just push systemui.apk and framework.res.overlay.apk to system/vendor/overlay.
And dont forget hit the thanks button if u dont mind it.

Hi guys.. today i've noticed a thread in other section (link below) in which a dev was able to port S4 status bar with gradient (i love gradient) to Android 4.1.2 (the phone is galaxy s3 mini)..
This is the thread's link ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2523663
Can any dev port this mod on our splendid S 2? Thanks DEVs.
