Bluetooth Headphones - One (M7) Accessories

I work graveyards in a store, and listen to my phone. My earbuds keep getting caught and pulled out, pain in the arse. Anyway I need recommendation on some bluetooth headphones. Anyone?

I use the MEElectronics AF-32 they're great and sound awesome. The advantage is that they can be used wireless or wired

I am currently using Denon Globe Cruiser AH-W200 they sound great are quite light and last a reasonable amout of time.

Sennheiser MM 550-X. Can be used wired, wirelessly, have apt-x for loseless audio, noise reduction to mute the noise and some more I forgot about. Oh, and you can have phone calls on them as they have 2 microphones. I doubt any other bluetooth headphones can match these.

Add Sony MDR-1RBT to your consideration list.
The usual , remote control , wired and wireless , microphone.

I'm using BackBeats, and they're pretty darn good. The only issue is being earbuds, their playing battery life is in the vicinity of 3-4 hours.

I use the LG Tone+. They work great and have excellent battery life. The only issue I have is that sometimes they have a flaky connection for no apparent reason.
Before these, I had the jaybird freedom. They worked great until I lost them.
If you are an audiophile, you will probably be disappointed with all bluetooth headphones. You sacrifice a bit of fidelity because bluetooth compresses the signal.
I use mine at the gym. The slight downgrade in sound quality is worth it to be wireless when working out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but although I've heard Bluetooth 4.0 does suffer reduced audio quality compared to earlier variants, I also believe that the One implements one of the newer Bluetooth audio codecs that cleans things up? Granted, it isn't going to match wired connections (or even better wireless methods), but I have heard it's significantly better.

If you want audio quality, all the blue tooth headsets you should look at is anything with apt X as that will make the sound quality almost sound lossless like a member said. Not many headsets support these thought but I really recommend you get an apt X enabled one. Then you have to look at what's more your style. On ear, in ear or over ear. If you want on ear, there are many option. I owned the jaybird sb2 and really liked them but they messed up on me after six months. Got it replaced no problem. If you are in ear, try the LG tone + or the jaybird freedom. There are many variations of the tone but look for one with apt X codec. Well let me go no further. Just get one that has apt X codec and start reading reviews and seeing what others say about what they like about it. Don't expect many people to talk about apt X. Many don't even have a device with it enabled. The HTC one does have it though. Happy hunting

if you want a set you can work out with, jaybird bluebuds x are awesome

I just received a set of nextwave bluetooth headphones ($24 on groupon) that I plan on using solely at the gym. I just tried them on rally quickly they fit very well, the sound was good, the connection was good also ( i moved my phone around into all my pockets) and for the price i couldnt go wrong. This is my first set of bluetooth headphones so I dont know what the sound quality is in the other ones.

I just bought a deleycon headset, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Plantronics 903+, they sound amazing ( really you hear bass in there ), great battery life, very good signal ( you can move around without loosing connection ), and they look and feel superb. I forgot the convinient button placement for controlling your music and taking/placing calls.
Can't be happier with them , plus I bought em for 35USD ( ebay ).
The only con is the audio quality on calls, but other than that it works great in that departmanet as well
Cheers.

[Q] Earphones that work with the HTC Desire (including mic, controls and volume)

I'm a new convert to Android from the iPhone, and for the most part I'm happy with the HTC Desire. There's just one thing I'm having trouble adjusting to, and that's moving away from the iPhone's default earphones for listening to music. My main hangup is the lack of in-line volume controls.
To get to the point - I'm looking for some good earphones that include:
- A mic
- Prev/next track controls
- Volume controls
What are my options? (If any)
Next and previous track not always supported but you get everything else on sennheiser ip50 ear buds. Sound great, loads on ebay for around a tenner, I paid about 50 quid for mine...

Earphones which work with Desire
I have been trying to solve the same problem, as yet with no real success. I tried the Sienhessers but they din't do everything you and I want.
Two suggestions; do your old Apple phones not work with the Desire? Most of the iPhone compatible phones I have tried do (I don't have an Apple set to try). The best solution I have found so far is adding these - http://www.complyfoam.com/Product/Whoomp!-Earbud-Enhancers - to the HTC stock phones. The sound quality is not that great but they are comfortable and the inline control has ALL the functions.
If you're really bothered, cut the buds off some decent ear buds and solder to the original htc set....

No they don't. Bit silly really!
Would be good to have a lead that plugs into the phone with the controls on and then normal headphones plug into that.
Something like this (the RC E100):

Hi I am using sennheiser MM400 for my desire, the best headphones i have ever owned, once you go wireless you'll never go back, bit expensive however but worth it. also has a mike so you can take call in between songs. Just so you are aware back and forward skip sound and play pause works for the first media player you open and that one only. If you want to use it on another media player you'll need to shut all media players down and then open the music app you'd like to use.
It's rechargeable and has a wire if you run out of battery.

Indeed. Must be the nicest headset €50 can buy.
Etymotic HF2s here. They've got one button which plays / pauses music and answers the phone. Not quite perfect functionality, but good enough for me. Also has the microphone on it, and the quality is pretty good.
Of course, the headphones themselves are wonderful. I love my etys, but they are an acquired taste. If you don't like in-ear 'phones that go in so deep that they meet in the middle, these might not be for you

I am using my good old Jabra bt620 stereo BT headset and its working perfectly.
best headset i ever had
I use iPhone 3GS headphones. Volume control isn't really an issue for me seeing as i listen to music on full anyway and the pause button still works so its all fine.
I am now using Sony wm 600 for a week or so and am very satisfied.

Best .apk to send audio to mono bluetooth headset?

I have a mono bluetooth headset I use for making calls but that I would also like to use for listening to my phone radio. I know there are several available in the market. Anyone have a recommendation?
I am using Supermono right now and it works well but could have better volume.
Last I checked, this can't be done.
Super BT Mono Froyo.
The sound quality sucks though. The free trial lasts 5 days and then you have to buy the app and at $2.99 for lousy quality it's not worth it. Then again quality depends on the individual so if you try it and like it then kudos.

Yeah, well it al depends on how you want to use it. I like to listen to talk radio on TuneIn in the car and the speaker isn't loud enough for me to hear it over engine noise. With this, I can listen on my bluetooth headset and still make calls as well so worth it. Also, its just 3 bucks

does the bt basically work as if it was a2dp with that app? I like listening to the GPS through BT, as well as listen in on my surveillance cameras with BT. dont really care to listen to music with it. I have A2DP headsets but the new motorola Oasis is my new favorite and of course it doesnt support A2DP.

Yeah Super BT Mono pretty much works as advertised and comes with a nice homescreens widget to turn it on and off.
One nice thing about it is that it transitions seamlessly between whatever you are streaming and an incoming call. Once the call is over it goes back to your streaming audio automatically.
The price on it just went down to like $2 and change. Definitely worth it IMHO.
P.S. the sound quality for music sucks, not because the software is bad but because your mono headset wanst really designed for music.

Awesome thanks for the answer. Exactly what i've been needing!! Now i can make use of my entire BT collection! Majority are not A2DP, the ones that are, are not comfortable. I have 3 more (2 at work, 1 in car) that are not in this pic. I couldn't live without BT. I've been using it for years (aprox 50 different ones) and will purposely cut a call short if i have to hold a phone to my ear for more than a few minutes... My arm cramps up lol Thats pretty bad innit My new favorite came in yesterday..The Motorola oasis. Best BT ever! WOW at the comfort level, no sound complaints yet either! My first BT of that style. So far so good with quality on the other end...
I do have a gripe about Super Mono BT Froyo..It is not silent, a lot of occasional random noise when enabled. I doesn't bother me if whatever i am listening to is actually playing 100% of the time, i can barely here the noises then. If there is any pause or silence, the scratches and clicks are very annoying, and not gonna be manageable for me. Does anybody have any other suggestions for a different app? TIA
I came across Bluetooth audio widget, they also provide 5 days trial. Will be trying it tomorrow.

[Q] Any recommendations for a bluetooth headset?

I know their is one that reads txt messages and emails does it work with the atrix anyone know?
Or what headset are you currently using with the atrix? and do you like it or not?
also are the ear wrap around comfortable and how does your headset fair outside say versus the wind?
I have the Rocketfish RF-MAB2 which I used with my Fuze and now the Atrix, which works great. I like the behind the head style because i can wear a helmet when I'm skateboarding or biking with no interference. I'll never go back to a wired headphone setup.
http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/products/mobile-phones-gps/RF-MAB2.html
I bought my fiance the Sony DR-BT50 set because she prefers that style which blocks out more noise. Those also work great but are much more expensive than the rocketfish.

Yep. The Icon was 29 USD from 1saleaday a little while ago. I haven't seen any deal like that for the Era, which is newer.
I use my Nokia BH-214 every day and love it.
I wear it like a necklace with the unit inside my shirt, and one of the headphones hanging out the front (it uses standard headphones).
or you can clip it on your jacket.
I bought a jawbone icon for my Atrix, and the sound quality is really bad. I think it's a problem with the Atrix' compatibility in general with bluetooth devices.
I posted on the moto owners forum, but never got a response.
Bluetooth Headset
I love bluetooth, currently I use with my Atrix
Motorola Finiti
Motorola Oasis
Motorola Endeavor
Motorola H9
Motorola S605
Motorola EQ5
Oakley Motorola O ROKR PRO
all work very well. My favorite is the Finiti. Using the Finiti with MotoSpeak is great! Also I use MotoSpeak with the Oasis which also works well and is maybe a little more comfortable but not as secure in the ear
I discovered that I can use MotoSpeak to answer by just saying "answer" with most of my Motorola products; S605, O ROKOR PRO and H9 all work by voice command to answer a call if I use the slider to enable vibrate mode.
Hope this helps
MTWIZARD
I also use the Finity. It sounds amazing. I have the newest two versions of the jawbone and they work fine too, with one big difference: The finity reduces wind noise better than Jawbone, but the jawbone has a louder speaker, but otherwise both brands are solid.

Good earphones

Can anyone recommend good earphones for SGS2? I've got Sennheiser CX400II and they sound rubbish with this phone. I tried them on my son's Experia Play and they sound decent there. Get a i9000 for music, the dac on the sgs2 is rubbish
It's so annoying how bad audio quality is on this. I've got some average Klipsch S3's I use for daily use, on my iP4 my ears are vibrating with the bass, on this I can barely hear the music. The ones that come supplied with the S2 are better on the S2, but nothing else. The cheaply made quality to them is so irritating too.
= What are you even doing asking whether or not you should root your phone on XDA?! =
thats odd!
my sgs2 sounds way better than any ip4 or sgs1 i ever tried!!!
im talking about sony XB700 !!
The oem headset lost output from the left earphone as well.
So I can only hear music from the right earphone.
The headset is cheap ****e..
Strange...I use 5 euros in-ear and audio quality is good...
I had the Samsung earphones that came with the phone and ever since the 2.3.5 upgrade and using power amp and equalizer the sound quality is excellent, i lost the earphones but i was so impressed with them i bought them on Amazon again and the sound quality is absolutely fine unless your a total snob when it comes to the "perfect sound" the Samsung earphones do the job very nicely.
U guys can give it a try, not only for sgs2!
FiiO E7 USB DAC and Portable Headphone Amplifier
Try using the stock music player.
If you use the 3rd party players, you can instantly tell that the 3rd party music players screwed the whole thing up.
Klipsch S4a. Boom.
Can't go wrong with Bose IE2
http://www.earphonesolutions.com/shure-se215.html
Using this earphones now for nearly a month.
Impressive qualtiy.
Flac over sgs2
really good.
I use Sennheiser CX300II, they're pretty cool, really good actually, turning my volume up high with some nice bass on the train, drowns out all crap that goes on around me.
What's better still, is they were a gift from my employer's for Christmas
These. With Comply tips, they sound brilliant. Obviously the recording you're listening to is important, 128kbps MP3's (or less ) are going to sound ****e no matter what you stick in your ears.
I use stock in-ear headset that comes with the phone together with dsp and cm7 music app.. sounds very good!

But if I plug my phone into a stereo the audio output is terrible.

Portable Speaker for galaxy note

As im sure everyone who owns a SGN, knows that the built in speaker is crap.
So i was looking on the internet for a portable speaker in order to use with my SGN.
I just wanted to know whether you guys use portable speaker for your note, if so could you kindly let me know which speaker you use.
Any recommendations would be very helpful
So far i have decided on the Minirig speaker, but if you guys know anything better then please feel free to share.
this is the link for the Minirig speaker
This speaker costs about £89 OR $138. It might be a bit expensive but it looks like it is worth it compared to the costly Jawbone Jambox.
Your probably looking for something a bit more " hi-fi ", but on my desk I have a pair of Nokia MD-4 speakers. These neat little speakers give out surprisingly good sound & they are easy to fold up & put in your pocket. They sound best with Poweramp with the equalizer set to phone speaker (loud).

This one is only available locally in the Philippines, BUT I'm 100% sure its only a Chinese rebrand. So its available somewhere in the internet. And at 24$, it wont break the bank.
I have one of these....

In fact I have 2 (thanks to a mate who said "yes, get me one too" then ordered his own, the numpty). You can have the other one if you are prepared to pay postage.
The unit is reasonably well built, runs off 3 AAA batteries or a supplied usb power cable, and has a 3.5mm input jack for other sources. Pairing it up is dead easy too, but it has a tendancy to hiss a lilttle bit (BT transport noise, maybe?) when the volume is low. My solution - crank it up loud!

I use one of these, the sound quality is amazing for the price and size of the unit...
I actually have three of them, one for work, one for home, and one in my backpack.

Hi,
I have one of these and it's a real killer as sound is top notch:

I have tried a lot of portable speakers and unfortunately you have to spend real money if you want something decent with real sound...
I have it for over a year and use it with my phone and my portable computer. If you use it with cable (at work with my computer), the battery lasts some 40-45 hours!!
It's very sturdy and compact, I love it!

Stick with your first choice MiniRig
NOKIA MD4.
That's the most portable one here, and the performance is decent enough.
It might not be as loud as the "MiniRig" but it is more compact, has a longer battery life.... but the real bonus here is that the MD4 is really cheap.
Try that first, I'm thinking of buying one now
Logitech mini Boombox...has built in mic...aux jack....touch controls.

Been using this for over 2 years, one of my best investments for a mobile phone extra, brilliant, use it at least 3 times week and it has a great sound, problem is I don´t think they make them any more AND I only payed 50euros for mine and not 199$
Big advantage is the use of bluetooth,no cables, which means you can use it all over the place,garden,work,office....or when your taken a hot bath ;-)
i grabbed some razer ferox speakers for under $50 i think. about 8 hours of battery life and they charge via usb. biggest problem is they pop open in the carrying bag all the time and im pretty sure the batteries drain when that happens. i use them for my laptop too.
