Sorry if this already has been posted elsewhere, but I've been searching alot on these forums but cant seem to find stock uk firmware for xperia SL.
So, can someone kindly point me to the right link for downloading this, or can someone please upload stock uk firmware, preferably ftf file?:fingers-crossed:

Anyone ?? can I backup a phon's ROM ?
oh yeah now i remember why i posted about searching on the forum! it was regarding dumping the current rom on the phone. there have been quite a few threads on it!

use these toools and then rebuild the rom using a kitchen!
searching will give you ideas on how to rebuild the dumped files

Creating a dump for all you noob 0 holics who { mistakenly } flashed thier devices to other firmwares.
In the later posts will try to build a stock Rom from it. But before that i need to learn about ODIN3 and Samsung's boot loader , Any guides or topics please post thanks.

I asked the OP of that thread, and even PM him, i think he is busy or not online. If he gets the job done it will be easier for all of us. I hope we will find a solution to it.
Says uploading. Meaning that you were able to dump it? If so, please explain how since we are several people that would like to dump JF3.

Are you a developer or a non-developer ?
Not a devoloper. Though, we do have a few devolopers that wanne be able to dump the XXJF3 rom.
could you use the same process as described here?

So is the link in the first post the optus dump rom for the galaxy s unrooted, with all optus applications like my account, etc...?

A friend of mine has put some custom rom on my arc. and now i cant download apps from market, and i cant update it to the new gingerbred ?
So i hope some of you have a very simple guide how to get the original ROM on my arc again so that i can update my phone an download apps again.
I dont know anything on how to do it so hope its an easy guide.. ?
Go on android development for the arc and there is loads of threads telling u how to do this

If you're asking for links to a section you see when you come to the Arc forum, then you need a LOT of help, so you'll just have to wait for someone who is extremely patient.

Hi there, my name is Bruno and i´m from Portugal, i was wondering if someone could help me with the procedure of installing the official ROM of ICS 4.0 on my Arc S, Portugal has not yet received the update, the Portuguese community is installing the "Generic Trade Nordic (2.3.4) via Wotanserver and then follow the normal update (via cellphone) to ICS. The problem is that Wotanserver is charging for the procedure, does anybody know any other way to update with other clients....

Why did you post this on the Development section? This should go into Q&A... BTW have you also used the "SEARCH" function? There is a thread below yours with the procedure to do so...

I looked in all threds that are dealing with this problem but they don't solve my problem!
OK, what i need is the german generic firmware 4.0.2.A.0.42
I know the wotanserver is one solution to find this but now you have to pay for it and i find it isn't worth because flashtool do the same for free!
(But it hasn't the FW)
And before you comment this thread "why the german one you can also use the uk one...blah blah" I know it but it is for the warranty!!
So does anyone have the FW(.ftf file) I'm looking for?
Can nobody help me ?
