Heya all... I got wallet to at least run on my phone with a card loaded... All I did was use the 4.2 build of google wallet... Changed my build.prop to that of a google nexus... And I had already linked my card to my wallet on the website prior to installing the app... Worked like a charm... But... Haven't completely tested it yet (hence WIP)... I went to McDonalds and the machine recognized my phone... And my phone said that it had sent the info, but it never cleared... It said to ask cashier to check for further instructions... But... The guy behind the counter had NO clue, and there were others waiting, so I didn't test further... Just wanted to share my experience... Just to let you know I'm running stock rooted...

Another thing... Don't know if this had ANYTHING to do with it at all... But for some reason it didn't work the first time I tried to install... But the second time it went through... The second time the only thing different was that I had the back off of my phone... Don't know if it had anything to do with the NFC antenna, or if it was just a strange coincidence...
Ok would I have to remove the current Google wallet? I wonder why no dev has looked into this

I did... I completely removed it... Because I tried everything with the one off of the Play Store and could get nothing but a black screen... I completely removed it then installed the one I posted... Worked the second time installing... Let me know if you have any success... I hope this helps you... Unfortunately I took a few days to post because this community isn't quite as nice as it used to be to people who are trying to help and add their .10...

I was able to get it running and all but my cell signal is all messed up! I get this message and it won't go. I removed the build prop changes and its fine and my service is normal again.

I never got any message like that... I was presume that it has something to do with you using Jellybomb... I'm currently using it on just stock... And that's stock without the OTA update that brought the multi app function...

No prob... Report back with any findings... I'm at work atm, but planning on stopping and trying to get gas after I leave using it at the local Shell... I'll let ya know if it works completely...

I too get the same notification. Stock rooted rom using the Galaxy Note II Toolkit. My phone does still work though(calling out worked fine). My cell signal seems to be good as well.

Right on. Mine would show no signal and then go to 1x and occasionally 3g but was really spotty and not worth it.

Mine just hangs and never really get to set up screen.
Okay I added the the card but it still failed. I think the nfc and the lib are the problem. Check this thread out.

After uninstalling the wallet did you reboot and install the 4.2 apk? I doubt it since we both got it to work on our device.

Question. So have you been able to make purchases with google wallet. As you can see my signature says I am using a Galaxy Nexus.

Ok... Stopped by the Shell station on my way home... I rarely go there and the last time I was there they had NFC payment options... I guess they did away with it... I'll try somewhere else tomorrow... But it's unusual that you guys aren't getting it going... I'm not sure what's making mine any different :-/ I don't know if it had anything to do with the fact that I already had a card already attached to my account... But... I did notice the unfortunate side effect that now I can't use the S-Note app since now my phone thinks it's a Nexus...

Ok guys... JUST got back for McDonalds... It totally worked... I made two purchases... Not sure why mine is any different... All I know is that i'm a completely stock rom except for the rooting... I did try to install another version of wallet after I installed the market version and before I installed the 4.2 version... Not sure if that's what is making the difference... Idk... I tried the method in THIS POST first... It didn't work for me... But maybe something I did trying that method changed something for when I installed the 4.2 version... Lol... I have NO clue... All I can say is it works now... Tomorrow I'll nand restore my phone and try everything over again and see if I can duplicate my success... I hope I'm helping :-/

Well I got mine working and card added and ready to use but never got to actually use it at a store. The drawbacks are the no s-pen function and the signal for me.

In reality I can add the card information but google does not allow me to add the card to my device. So that is why it does not work for me. I am just going to reinstall Jellybomb and wait until they make some progress with the Cyanogenmod 10. I had a feeling this would be a waste of time. So the the apk in the original flagged my device as lost and deactived google wallet from my device.
In case people here do not check the i9505 forums. I followed these steps

to fix a soft bricked i9505g on my M919 Tmobile Galaxy S4. Everything worked perfectly even though odin/download mode had lots of errors showing on the s4's screen.
Google wallet activated, LTE, wifi. So far I cannot find anything wrong.
Partitions are still the same as the original phone so there should be no reason you cant use odin to return to stock.
I take no responsibility if you do this and something gets hosed but its working great for me. If you want stock google but dont want to deal with peoples custom roms this may be the way to go.

Someone on there did it with a i9505 and confirmed it working so i figured I might as well give it a shot. Especially since our phones are closer to the i9505g than the i9505 is.
Have you managed to get the radios and baseband flashed? I would be curious to see how it works
i just flash i9505 miui rom on my tmo g s4 everything works fine

No, same baseband. Im not that brave.
So, flashing the modem.bin in Odin gives me an authentication failure. I just figured I would mention that. Attempted to flash it through the phone option.
I wonder what will happen when there's an OTA update.

It'll fail. Google OTA's have historically included bootloaders and modem updates. As a result, those won't be able to be flashed for the same reason they can't be flashed in Odin (sig mismatch).

Havn't really had time to check
Looks like im only getting LTE data and not HSPA. It connects to HSPA but no actual data transfers. Calls work fine though. Edge works fine as well
edit: restored phone back to stock using odin, everything working fine now.
Really dont know if its something i did or was something else that caused it.

Good day everyone.. Let me start by saying i've been trying to fix this problem on my s3 for 3 weeks now since i got it..its my first android device and its a pain.. My phone will reboot for no apparent reason, its not a memory issue, i;ve read other forums and googled the problem and havent gotten any where.. i've flashed over 4 different roms and reseted the phone and still nothing..
My friend has the same phone only difference is that his is just the i747 and not the i747M..i was even the one who flashed and rooted his device and his phone has been working 2 weeks without rebooting..
PLZ help me cause am really frustrated and feel like throwing away my phone..any suggestions or comments are welcome.. THANK YOU!!!

I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 running the latest nightly of CM 10.2. I have been constantly updating the nightlies and several times I have factory reset (wiped the cache, delvik cache, the system, data, internal storage, and reformatted everything) my phone and it is still constantly rebooting. I cannot figure out what is causing it either.
i dont think its the roms because i've tried so many CM 1.3 STABLE , CM 10.2 amongst other roms and still getting the reboots..{Feeling frustrated}

I'm going to try a stable CM 10.1 and see if it reboots.
Couldn't flash a stable version of 10.1. I wiped the cache, system, and delvik cache, then flashed the rom, but it wouldn't boot. It just stayed on the Cyanogenmod boot up screen.
Its the same thing, i've tried the stable version(CM 1.3) already and it's the same thing...
And if your stuck on cm boot screen simply reboot back to recovery mode and wipe cache and reboot system and it shud boot up normally...

Well let me know if you figure anything out. It's getting really annoying. I don't know if it's a Cyanogenmod thing or what. I'm really happy with CM when it works and it's been great for me on other devices in the past.

Yeah I haven't had any problems today, although since I've been at work most of the day, I have done any heavy usage. It's just a matter of time. Keep me updated though!
People just don't view the post, leave ur opnions and feedback.. am determined to fix this problem cz 2 many ppl having this same problem.... Are you using the Facebook app or chrome people ?

Heard this problem. Don't use Facebook. Tried uninstalling Chrome--didn't solve the problem.
Facebook is the one app i use the most.. Have you tried it before and did it work?

I had the power button issue and sent it into Samsung to be fixed 2 weeks ago. I have had the phone since July 2012 and it was still under warranty. Try lightly wiping your hand across the button and if the phone reacts that's the problem or if it reboots a lot when you are using the button often. Taking the case off seemed to help a little. It was a free repair and they had it back in 6 business days.

Did you unroot your phone?
I searched and didn't find anything. So my problem is I have a stock i317. I randomly lose service. Sometimes it's just data, I'll have 3 or 4 bars but no data. Other times it is everything just the no service symbol. I usually turn airplane mode on and off and everything comes back. Any idea what the problem could be ? I just updated ota to ucamh3. Hoping that would solve the problem but there is no change.

Some devices had internal antenna issues that required a repair /replacement ....
If a stock rom is used and the device has been factory wiped ...but you still get antenna issues ...
The device may have a problem ..
It's not uncommon ...
And if the device is truly stock and no tampering has occurred ...then the odds of a hardware issue certainly go up...g

I found what works with my phone is a quick smack to the thing. On the side or the back Im not sure I hit it a few times. Then it goes from not being able to find a network to having full signal strength. Im not hitting it hard enough to hurt it. I hope this continues to work for me.

Upon further testing smacking it does not seem to make a difference. We are on Straight talks BYOP sim plan using AT&T towers. My wifes skyrocket does it sometimes and has Cyanogenmod Rom. And my note2 I just got and immediately flashed with Pac Man Rom does it a lot. Cyanogenmod Rom has some of Pac Man rom built in it hmm. My skyrocket never does it and it is still stock 2.3.6. Im thinking of doing a nandroid backup of my hard work setting up my Note2 and then flashing back to stock to see if it still does it. Or try to see if it only does it on a low charge. Or only wail plugged it. Or flashing a different radio, or different modem or baseband how ever you are supposed to say it.
Right now my Note2 is on baseband I317UCAMCE.

Yea i have tried different roms now. It was official.tried a couple diff roms. Just did the new leak and sll having same problem.

What the hell, worth a shot.
Easy fix. Set the SE LINUX to permissive. Can be done in withe x pose setting using Wanam or down loaf the SE LINUX changer app. If you have any questions I can walk you through it.

Iam having a very similar issue with my Note 2(sgh-1317).
If you could please walk me through this. Permissive and Enforced are both greyed out using WanamSELinuxModeChanger. It is rooted(CF-AUTO-ROOT), os IS 4.3, IMEI under battery matches IMEI as listed under [SettingsAbout Device/Status] as well as that listed using Android System Info from play store. Radio is "UNKNOWN", KNOX status empty
This is the 4th phone, all note 2s, that I've had "No Mobile Network" issues with since I originally got this device last Christmas(2012).
the 1st 3 were replaced under warranty by AT&T. But now I'm on Straighttalk and rooted and the issue remains.There is an iPhone 4S in the house, also on Straighttalk, that has no network connection issues at all. I have verified APNs etc etc and am at a total loss.
Any help is much MUCH appreciated.

I called T-Mobile and after resetting the phone they said they would replace it. Then I called Samsung and they said to bring it to best buy to have it reflashed. I can go there but I could also flash it via Odin at home. Now my question is, if I flash the stock rom via Odin will it trip the Knox counter? I read that it won't and I read that it can. I just want to make sure it won't before I flash it incase I have to have it repaired or replaced.

I would try flashing the stock official update through Odin. That's pretty much what best buy is going to do.

That's what I was thinking. I just wanted to make sure that wouldn't trip the Knox counter going through odin. I wouldn't think so but I read somewhere when I did a Google search that someone said it did.

So long as it's a 100 percent stock ROM it shouldn't. It only trips if system partition or a custom recovery are detected.

Well I flashed the stock rom from sammobile yesterday morning and so far so good. I haven't had a problem since. Tmobile said there is no way I could flash the firmware again even though I knew I could through odin, just wasn't sure if I used odin if it would trip the Knox counter. I didn't want to replace my phone that is in mint condition through tmobile and get who knows what in return so I called Samsung and they said to go to best buy to have it reflashed. I saved myself a trip by doing it myself. thank you elesbb for your help.

Well I flashed the stock rom from sammobile yesterday morning and so far so good. I haven't had a problem since. Tmobile said there is no way I could flash the firmware again even though I knew I could through odin, just wasn't sure if I used odin if it would trip the Knox counter. I didn't want to replace my phone that is in mint condition through tmobile and get who knows what in return so I called Samsung and they said to go to best buy to have it reflashed. I saved myself a trip by doing it myself. thank you elesbb for your help.

Yeah, i hate getting replacements from them. I no longer have insurance as any repairs (aside from shattered screen, this denotes an upgrade ) i will just do myself. I have gotten replacements for my S3 through them and they ALL were horrible. I ended up having to take apart both phones when they sent me the new one and made a good working one out of it and reassembled the bad pieces into a bad phone and sent that one back. Ha. It was pathetic. lol.
Always come here before swapping out your phone or anything. There is so much information available and helpful people anyone can really solve their own problems.

Well I spoke too soon. I had to restart my phone again to get service back. The problem is still there. I had data but no cell service. Even if I turn airplane mode on then back off to reset it it still doesn't work. I have to restart my phone. Do you think it could possibly be a simple card issue? It started the day after I updated my phone when 4.4.2 came out.

It could be a SIM card issue. Do you have another phone you could test the SIM card with?

I'm going to go to the tmobile store today to get a new one and hopefully that's it. I tried to get a replacement for my girlfriend's phone and got 3 that I sent back because they were worse and just kept hers so I don't want a replacement from them

After replacing my SIM card on Friday, it's been good. I figured I'd give it a few days before I said something this time. It's weird that it happened right after I updated to kit kat

I've had SIM related issues before. Sometimes an older SIM card won't work correctly with a system update. With a new card problems disappear. Let's hope this is the case for you.

Ever since I got the OTA Kit Kat my phone is in nightmare mode. Wifi wont stay on or ever even come on. Wake screen freezes and numerous other issues. I got same responses from TMO and Sammy and have spent 100 hours on here searching for HOW to fix. Ive used Odin 307 and 309 with various files CWM OUDHS, etc and never get anywhere. Just fails with "no PIT" errors every time.
Ive rooted phones before with NO problems , G2, and other HTCs, but Sammy driving me nuts.Im assuming its because I have 4.4.2
So your saying using Odin with a stock ROM will work? or errors again? samobile the site you need to pay to join right?
Ive seen THOUSANDS of people with SAME issues, various carriers as well as S4s and Nexus

Thanks, but Ive done all that already. Odin never gets through its process..ALWAYS fails no matter what TAR I use. "no PIT" error every time

What do you have checked in Odin? And are you flashing 4.4.2 firmware?

depends on files directions, but usually have nothing checked according to k0nane directions. i have tried everything BUT 4.4.2 firmware, but never gets but few seconds in before that error right away

Well either way you'll never get anywhere without 4.4.2 because you said that's what you have.. It won't flash anything below that so try 4.4.2

no error now for 4.4.2, NB4 TAR, just says "get PIT" see pic attached
