[Q] which CUSTOM ROMS are compatible with MerrukTechnology Kernel v1 beta????

guys yesterday i flashed my sgy with creed2.5 and then with MerrukTechnology Kernel v1 and was stuck at boot screen but Version 0.7.50 RC 20 booted up but the above result was a failure with hybrid 2.1 ????

try with chocodigitals rom...............i tried it worked for me...

i think that rom had touch screen problems

Works on any ROM. The final version's out. Try the final version. Boot loops are LESS likely.

i tried that on creeds but was stuck at boot screen

Try the 7.50 version and NOT 8.0.

Which version of Chobits Digitalis are you using, and which version of the kernel did you use?

i tried kerenal v1 final on my creed 2.1 but it lagss like hellllllll

have u tried version 0.7 rc 20 i think it is the most stable version working with custom roms
i think hybrid v3 has latest kerenal support but it still has bugs so it is currently reuploaded .waitng till further developement

guys kerenal v1 works like charm with chocobit v 1.4b2 no problom at all but all my apps in sd card are lost but no worry had a backup

Kerenal v0.7rc 20 is working good but not v 1 final (still has some bugss....)
try v0.7 it u can overclock to 900mhz

initialy had superuser problems but after unrooting and rooting my phone again it worked
if u still have problems try version 0.7 RC 20 (NO SUPER USER Problems)

bro in the thread u give it says "Extract system.zip to root of your sdcard - flash the kernel - wipe - reboot - reboot recovery - install ext4.zip and he we go"
in my red highlight shud i flash it using odin? bcoz i don't even try to flash via odin,hehe..

both ways are good (i used faqbly meathod from the start so had made all bootable kerenals and used them) use the one whose instruction u find easy and best
because i dont want to damage your phone by forcing u to use my way buddy
its just your choice

Would this kernel be the same across the board? I was thinking of reverting to the stock kernel as well.

I'm also using Asian version and wondering about this as well. I kind of assume that since the custom kernels work across geography, the stock kernel is the same.

Just recently rooted my One X, still on stock ROM and now I'm thinking on changing only the kernel.
If anything goes wrong, I'm reverting to stock kernel again.

This kernel only for ICS rom. If you use JB or KK rom you must try difference kernel from another threat

NO, if you want flash customer kernel pls visit lyapota's kernel threat, audihadi's kernel threat or Origin Kernel or AlexV kernel, it for sense 5 and android 4.2.2

Put back your device to stock with a RUU, then unlock bootloader and flash a CWM recovery then install the Superuser... you will have a rooted stock Rom with stock kernel.
Or restore your nandroid backup, flash the stock kernel and put in the Superuser.. you will have the same thing.

[Q] Bricked Kernel Stuck

Hello guys, I'v tried to install Bricked kernel core but stuck on the HTC logo -(( any other cores goes well.... Pls help me to solve this problem
My actions:
1)fastboot flash boot
2)Install .zip from recovery.
adb name check (adb shell uname -a) shows "Name not found" -((
OS 4.04 Stock FW v 2.17 Sence 4.1

On wich rom and wich bricked kernel, there are 2 bricked kernels. One for sense roms and one for aokp/aosp roms

And also did you repack bricked boot.img with the one of your ROM?

yes, I'v used stock kernel (due to I'm using stock ROM) but no effect

Just a thought here, download the latest faux kernel and flash the boot.img and flash the .zip
See if the phone boots......

Faux kernel goes well, I'v wrote about it earlier...

Don't see where mate ... otherwise i would have not asked, i only see you used stock kernel
Edit 1 : ah you talk about cores......my eyes only check for the word : kernel
Edit 2 : I've seen reports of not booting in the thread a while ago, you can try to get your hands on the 0.6 or 0.5 and try again

I edited my post ! Well it should work on a stock rom otherwise the other custom kernels would also fail, they are all based on the stock kernel from one point .....

[Q] Wake up/Sweep2wake VIPERX

Hi fellas,this is my first post here,im using viper x 4.06 on my hox,and i eneabled the function to wake up with volume button,but this works sometimes and sometimes not!, after a long sleepy time,doesnt work,you know why? is there a way to have the sweep2wake on sense? or something similiar ? i dont wanna use an app for this,but if it neccesary..Also y tried some aosp roms to have the Sweep2wake function but linaro rom and domination heated too much my phone,maybe there is a aosp rom you can recomend me! Thanks for everything and sorry for my poor english!

If you don't know what a kernel is you need more then a link mate, check in the android dev section and check for the Alex V thread. It's not that hard.

Yes it does work on ViperX - if you can install that you can install AlexV

if you have the kernel.zip ? flash the desired boot.img from the zip and install the .zip file via the recovery.

I ve done that,but meybe you can help me with something else..i already have s2w on my hox,i flashed the boot.img with alex V kernel,but i dunno how to activate dt2w,i flashed the correct boot.img,but dt2w is not by default...
