So I'm trying to make my PIE invisible - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys. I'm trying to make my phone a bit more of just gestures. I've tried isas in LMT but they react with the screen and makes things a little weird. I have been using pie controls for quite some time and the thought came to just turn all of the colors to transparent. When I tried that however I am left with the icons for my home, back, and recent. I can't find any way to make them dissapear! Has anyone else successfully pulled this effect off? I'm using lmt launcher.

Which ROM are you using? If its Paranoid Android, then set the trigger area to None.

I flashed 21MB out of my 155MB ROM, and my phone crashed! Any solution? LOL

I'm on AOKP. So I'm running it with lmt launcher.

Question About Apex launcher

Hey guys quick question regarding apex launcher. I like setting my grid sizes usually between 5x5-10x10 but it seems with apex launcher anything over 7x7 causes the icons to get cut in half, regardless of having the icon labels hidden or not. quite disappointing.. is there any fixes to this? i searched here and on google, and didn't find anything other than other people bringing up the issue.
I purchased the Pro version hoping it would maybe fix the issue, but it still happens.
updated OP with my question re-worded in hopes of any info.. Thanks again for any help guys!
You need to change the LCD density so the icons are smaller.

that will change a whole hell of alot more than just my icon size though. i dont want everything else to change size. I just want a dang 10x10 grid, why is it EVERY other launcher doesnt have this issue? there has to be something else.
Yeah, i never mess with density, but it would work.
Another idea is to use desktop visualizer since it scales. All the really artsy home screen people use it. Pain to have to set up each icon, but it should work.

Nice, that app is kinda like a more useful simpletext type app.
does no one else have this issue? I cant be the only one who uses apex who likes to have a 10x10 grid.

Navigation button solutions?

I'm looking for the best solution for navigation buttons, so that I can remove my navigation buttons from the bottom of the screen and regain that screen space. What is everyone using to replace the navigation buttons? I know there is LMT, with the pie interface, but I was wondering if there was a better option.
I was thinking, is there a way to use the same gesture to swipe from the bottom that is used for google now, is it possible to put custom actions buttons alongside google now in that area? I hadn't seen it on any roms yet, but wasn't for sure. It seems like that would be a perfect place to put home, back, and recent actions.
Lol if you didn't like the on screen buttons why did u get a galaxy nexus

Because its a great device. I have no problem with them, but if there's a better solution, it would be nice to use it.
Anyone have any useful contributions?
Lmt and button savior are the only options. I prefer lmt. We could write a new app to do what you want, but it would be a major project.
After trying both, I think I prefer LMT as well. Maybe in the future we will see a mod to the Google Now shortcut, similar to how custom lock screen targets are done now.

Probably for the ability to do things just like this.
What kind of question is that?

[APP] Remove bottom bar

Now that the nexus is rooted, HideBar can also be used to use the full screen:
http://ppareit.github.com/HideBar/
Sorry to be a bother, but could you post a screen shot?
Yes, second for screen shot please
really nice work. I tryed the demo. It will hide the button-bar and the status-bar. But hey 3€ for this improvement is to high. Espacialy because in a few weeks there will be custom roms with this feature, too. Cyanogen and paranoid can do this too with longpress power button and expand Desktop i think.... and for free

It just removes the bar at the bottom of the screen. No point in making a screenshot
The demo is free. It fully works, all features as in the paid version, it just displays a small link to the market for a very short time. You can always buy the version at the market, great way to say thanks!
Does it just remove the bar but keep the buttons? I don't understand.
I think its neat but I wouldn't want to ruin the pure experience. I'll wait for Cyanogenmod to get a feature like this, they always follow Google style spot on.
Thanks this is exactly what I was looking for--just about. I knew I rooted for a reason. Didn't need BusyBox either.
I only wish there were more options to show the nav buttons. The current options are kinda easy to trigger for games.

Not bad. It would be useful to have a toggle on the power off screen menu. Loved that on a ROM I had on my Galaxy Nexus.

Thanks!! This is awesome. I cannot find anything free besides this.
Not everyone wants to flash a custom rom so this is great.

I'm personally not so worried about the drop down settings not actually being toggles. I don't mind the extra click for now.

This thing is cool. Would be nice if it would auto hide after a few seconds.

Cool... What I've been looking for! More real estate!!
damn awesome.
the ghost back button is a little tricky to find, but i'm getting used to it
a gesture to show hide the status bar would make it perfect
I would suggest Fullscreentoggle.apk
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497558
for removing the navbar
and either GMD gesture controls or button savior (i use both) for navigation. Heres to taking back our entire screen
What I wonder is this. With 3rd party launchers, it's cake to hide the status bar. I swipe down to show it, I swipe down again to hide it. When it's hidden, it still shows for apps that've set the preference to leave it visible, whether or not you've hidden it in the launcher. Why hasn't this been implemented for the NavBar? Is it that much harder to do?

I used this method I'm on day 2 going on day 3 now using button savior and after the first 24 hours worth of use I've gotten used to using button savior and I love getting that extra real estate back. I was gonna post this method using the fullscreentoggle.apk while using button savior but I see u beat me to it.

I have been trying to use both of these apps but I cannot get them to function. Well button savoir works by showing the bottoms on the right when I want but I cannot get full screen to work..
I like the hide bar demo app but hate the ads. I just may have to buy. Just seems like there are so many apps that do so much for less than half the cost. I know it isn't a ton of cash but the app purchases add up.
The full screen app should make the bar disappear anyhow I believe..

Anyone else getting 'glitching/flicking' wallpaper on the home screens using the demo version ? ..maybe a reboot will fix, will try later.
Using a live wallpaper though is fine.
I'm still using it though, awesome app. If it's confirmed the full version is without this problem then i'm buying.
Luv having the full screen real estate! Im using the Fullscreentoggle.apk and Button Savior combination.
Here is an option;

Button Saviour https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smart.swkey&hl=en

Move or Remove Notification Bar Buttons?

Hey everyone,
I'm running Omega 6.1 on my Note 2 (n7100) and I love it. The only thing that bugs me a bit and can't seem to figure a way around it is the shortcuts in the notification bar. Is there a way to remove some of them that I never use (like the timeout or sync button) or move other buttons to the far left for immediate use (like the sound/vibrate function).
Anyone have any ideas?

Hello Guys,
I've just bought the N7100 and I would like also adjust the notification panel, but I cannot find this app "Quick Panel Settings", do you have some links, please?

If you are using Omega rom you should have an app called AdvanceS.
Thanks for your help
I am using the stock rom, and I cannot adjust this panel as I want.
On my previous phone (nexus s) I used widgetoid app and it was great.
Here instead of remove this panel which seems impossible, I would like to adjust it.
Is it possible without installing another room?
Other then what you can do in setting there not much you can do. You can try to find the 25 toggle mod and flash it to your phone. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know how well rit works on a stock room or how easy it is to add to a stock rom as I have had problems in the past with a mod not working for my phone
Sent from my SGH-I317M using xda app-developers app
I've finally installed the omega ROM, looks great, & I've found the "advanceS" apps, much more flexible than the Rom Stock.
But there is a way to add other toggles? (I like to see the RAM used, & the free space...)
Thanks
Nicolas

CM 10/10.1 circular home screen mod?

On stock you can scroll from the last home screen right back to the first. Does anyone know a way to implement this in cm while still using trebuchet?
I use the square out home screen transitions and it would be totally awesome to have a home screen that was a square that rotated all the way around
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
You need a launcher like Nova to do this trebuchet on CM doesn't support this.
