Evervolv is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.2.2 (JB) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
This is an Unofficial release.

Make sure to keep a back up of your SD card just in case. If you don't, don't come crying to me about your lost data.
Flash boot.img in fastboot
Factory Reset
Flash the ROM
Reboot System
Boot the ROM
Reboot back into Recovery
Flash GApps
Reboot into the System (first boot will take several minutes)

I know some of you have been waiting for a long time for 4.2 and we just recently got it to a usable state. My time to work on this is limited but I'm doing the best I can because I want this as bad as you guys do

Yes. Headphones work fine. No issues with them, I don't know about quality of sound. I listened to a song via Youtube.

I will elaborate with the issues I have had with two of them. I know that beyond is already fully aware of them, but I want users to know what specifically they may experience. Of course, I am not saying what I have experienced are the sole issues or that these haven't been solved and new ones appeared, but this is what I experienced.
SD Card/Storage: The same kind of "SD Card safely removed" message as we got with 4.1. The reason why is probably slightly different, but it's the same message. I haven't experienced any wipes yet, but BACKUP YOUR SD CARD just in case. (Better to be safe than to come in here angry and turn this into another nasty thread.)
Installs from market: The apps you attempt to install will download, but they will never install. Updating apps causes the app to download, but results in an error message that I was not intelligent enough to remember to record.

I started to compile CM10.1 from source for myself a while back for fun and just to learn. And thanks to Cl3Kener for hooking me up, I have been building with Linaro 4.8.2. This is Vanilla as in Plain unchanged CM10.1 nightly. I sync with CM and compile every few days. Decided to post and share with everyone.​

3. Reboot into recovery with TWRP or CWRM Touch
4. Flash the ROM
5. Flash 4.2.2 Gapps

Do you have a quickie primer on what Linaro is, and how is the ROM is different than official CM 10.1? I take it that the user interface is, for now, the same as the official CM release, and that linaro is more tied with performance.

Its exactly the same as CM10.1 nightly accept compiled with Linaro Toolchain. Which is supposed to improve performance.

Thanks for making these. Cl3Kener was building em for a bit, but its nice to have another person working on it as well. He can take the time off and focus on other builds. Thanks man.

He still is but his is Awsome Audio Mod.
Planning on syncing and building when I get to work in the morning. I build the ROMs on a server at work. They would take forever and a day on this old Lenovo T61

Why does notifications go to settings instead of notifications? How can I change it? ROM is great and super fast by the way.

Q: I get dark screen after setup wizard, what should I do?
A: Just press home key once and "Complete action using" will come up to pick which launcher to goto. REMEMBER to press Just once,when you pick a launcher.
Q: Why is my battery icon round not the normal one ?
A: Goto Settings>System>Status bar>Battery status style and select icon

A: Goto Settings>About phone and tap ''Build number'' for 7 times and these settings will be unlock

Q:My call volume is too low and I can't make it higher.
A:When your is call press the speaker icon at the bottom of the screen so you can hear them through the speaker then press it again so you can hear through ear speaker and you will find that the ear speaker volume is higher,it works with headphones too,that what I do when I call someone or answer a call..
I noticed that if you have it on speaker the first time,in a call it echoes(Well that's what the caller says)so press it to turn the speaker off then on again and it goes a way.Sorted...???
