Since I bought this phone I'm never flashing using any custom ROM but I falling in love with Touchwiz by ipromeh, but there is some request and some question:
- People said it save battery, but mine drain battery so quick.
- I'd like the S4 taste but the locker is not, can you fix it. I don't like the locker you put hehehe. If possible can you put water locker just like samsung did.
- Notification bar sometimes so clear and I cannot see it.
- In the gallery I don't see scroll bar, I have lotsa picture and the original scroll bar in the Stock ROM really help me to find the pic that I want, coz the scroll bar indicate Date when the picture taken. In your ROM I don't see any scroll bar so it takes some time to find the picture.
- When I select the text I miss "select all, copy, paste, cut" can you make it bigger hehe.
- I miss brightness gesture in Gal W, with just rub my thumb to left and right I can change the brightness. Can you bring it in your ROM.
- And the screenshot key, in Gal W I just need to press the HOME+Power button at the same time to screenshot, but in your ROM I can't.
Okay that's a lot question and request. Anyway your ROM is Amazing.

1) Did you calibrate your battery?
2) The locker is comes from original CM10.1, we have to wait someone to mod it with a guide
3) Yea I will revert to black statusbar
4) You mean the samsung gallery? Hmm i will see
5) I think it can't because the original cm10.1 comes with this size
6) For the brightness slider I will see, or you can find it on galaxy w themes and apps section
7) But you can screenshot by holding volume down+powerkey
That's all. Thank you

I talk about brightness gesture not slider, can you see this video how to adjust brightness in Galaxy W, without a slider we can just rub our thumb on top of the notification bar.
Keep the good work bro,
Thanks again.

Hi!
I'm quite new to theming with the SGS and I'm a complete noob when it comes to Photoshop, my friends tend to laugh at me in class when we're doing sth in PS. I actually have a request, I don't think it's hard to accomplish, because of all the amazing things I've seen in this section.
Okey, here it goes, the default notification screen (that grey thing you pull down ), I'd like the bottom of it to have actual angles, instead of being round and to go to the actual bottom of the screen, so nothing but the notification screen (and the bar up top obviously) is visible.
I hope I made any sense and I'd very much appreciate if some1 would even consider trying to create this for me and/or others ofcourse.
Thanks!
EDIT: Forgot to mention this, I'm running on XXJPO for the i9000, current ROM is Doc's v7.5 if that matters aswell.

If you get rid of the bar at the bottom when it is fully open, how would you close the drawer?

.....possibly run your finger down the back of the phone?
He means the graphic at the bottom of the notification drawer when fully open which you can skin to be what ever you want... Just cause the image has changed doesn't make it's job change as well. There were a few (personal) themes I made that I removed it and gave the small illusion of extra space
Besides which the back button works just as well
I've seen people posting screen shots showing them running a 4 button softkey setup with settings hidden on both sides. I've searched high and low and only thing I can find is how to change the pngs. I want to be able to use the 4 button setup then I can change the images myself....
I'm running GummyNex 0.4.7, does anyone know of a mod that works with this ROM?
This is what im looking for:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20352385&postcount=2 - SoftKey MOD
only problem is it crashes my system.ui. It just locks up, I cannot use the screen to hit OK on the FC. I know its based on ICL53F..... is there one for IML74K? or one that works with GummyNex? Any help is greatly appreciated guys!
Thanks!

You can use those if you dont mind losing the toggles in the pulldown screen

Have you tried this with GummyNex 0.4.+? It says "MUST BE ON ICL53F UPDATE"....
I wouldnt want to lose the pull downs anyway.... but there should be a way to update system.ui to include another button..... no?
Seeing as how some were concerned with burn-in/didn't want the status bar I'm releasing a first step towards it.
The status bar has been removed, however apps don't seem to reclaim it. I'll be working on this tonight/tomorrow and post any updates on it.
This is for Bigxie's v1 version of JB.
Update:
Adding a fullscreen version that permanently remains fullscreen after 2-3 force closes (There's only a few but they stop after a minute or two and I've yet to have any issues with anything else though I haven't extensively tested it).
XDA is having issues with photos for me, screenshot is here: http://postimage.org/image/yx6en8kif/
FullScreen Mode: http://multiupload.biz/0y10uw1bgdgh/FullScreen Mode_MultiUpload.biz.zip.html
And for those with issues:

one questions: are only the icons removed or the hole status bar includig the black background?
the status bar doesn't burn in. the rest of the screen just loses brightness, whereas the status bar is black and doen't emit light. the oleds in this section and in the softbutton-section don't lose brightness because they aren't used that much. that's crappy, cause it is pretty good visible after just a couple of months of usage.

The whole status bar is gone, you can't even slide it down or anything. Also could you elaborate on the losing brightness part please?
Also if anyone else has ideas I'm willing to try them. Causing the SystemUI to crash it enters the correct full screen for a min or two, but that isn't permanent nor ideal.
especially the blue subpixels lose brightness the older they get. entering fullscreen mode, let's say watching a movie, shows, that the status bar and onscreen buttons area are more blue than the rest of the screen. this is because these areas weren't used that much.
samoled is very crappy when it comes to longevity. especially for power users it's really bullsh... i had it on every samsung samoled so far. only omnia 7 with windows phone doesn't show these "burned icons" because it's mostly running in full screen, except you touch the status bar, then the icons pop in.
Lol sorry to say but after reading this thread ... I'm just as confused as the box boy in your phones background... =\ not going to try this one...

I've seen a couple of requests like that one. Notifierpro apparently lets you (I've never tried it) and my curiosity as to how to actually remove the status bar lead me to this. (I'm not so worried about the burn in, and will leave my status bar there, I just know a couple of people seemed to want it gone to remove burn in)
Why not hide it with Nova/Apex launcher?

Because it will come back whenever you go into any other app. I don't care for this mod, but can see its use for some.

I might be able to make an app do it, to swap out the SystemUI.apk when toggled. idk if you can do that with the phone running though.
hi matt
just installed your Full Screen mod
and my Gnex is never starting (stays on bootloop)
I have the Jelly Belly V2 ROM

Probably isn't compatible with Jelly Belly V2.
I've only tested it on bigxie's v1
strange as it it is system.apk or system UI if I'm right , so must be the same on JB ROMs
Hey Guys, I really like this negative colors widget on SGS III.
Great on apps with white background but I can't seem to figure out any combination to trigger it on easily
You gotta go back to main screen and then tap on the widget for it to work making it more trouble than being neat
there are some gestures app but they don't support gesture to trigger widget. Does anyone know any good app combination to make it easy to trigger
thanks in advance Guys

Flash Siyah kernel
It has a feature that allow you to start/stop the negative color with 4 press on physical home button
ohh.... I hate physical home button and almost never used it
if only there's a similiar app that gives negative color but not as a widget
I think SwipeStarter allows widgets for gestures...

Tried it, love it. Does anyone know what it's APK name is in the root directory? I feel like I am blind. I found most widgets in system/app but cant seem to find the Negative Colors widget anywere. (I really want to just change the widgets look. Not have the text that says "Negative Colors" and only have that little symbol
--- edit:more info---
Leaving a screenshot of what I'd like to see on my phone. (In the screen cap its really just a file explorer shortcut to a white img and I changed the icon of the shortcut)

Sorry if this exists somewhere else (I exhausted my search keywords and couldn't find it).
I am a recent convert to the ZL side and, for the most part, really like the phone. One thing, however, that I really liked from the Samsung Galaxy device I came from (and even the iPhones before that) was the quick way of locking screen rotation. Is there a way to bring that functionality into my ZL? On the Galaxy Note I had, all I needed to do was bring up the notification slider and select Screen Rotation lock. On the iPhone, if memory serves, I doube-tapped the home button and went all the way to the left and select the lock icon. On the ZL, I have to go into the settings, then into the display setting, then click on the Auto-Rotate screen option.
I appreciate any advice.
Thanks!
Install this and select the rotation toggle and check the others.. They are cool.

I recommend installing "ScreenRotate (Small App)"
It will add rotation toogle to small apps bar (which shown when you press task switcher button).
Its more convenient that having to pull down notification bar, take space in notification area or having to go to homescreen to use widget.

Sorry missed your post. That's an awesome app I always searched for notification toggle apps but they were always super ugly, missed some toggles or didn't work with the notification bar!
If only it could be be above the time and I wish the icons were smaller just like stock toggles.
Maybe I cam charge them myself
