Hello.
I've been helping my friend to upgrade her HTC Desire HD from Android 2.3.7 to 4.2, using this tool and installing this rom. Her phone is now stuck on the HTC boot screen. Waited for over 20 minutes after, wiping all data and cache, re-installing the rom several times, and partitioning the SD card. Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

I have a really big problem with my desire:
I have updated nearly every NeoPhyte since Froyo. Worked always without problems.
Yesterday I want to update to NeoPhyte 8.2. I only flashed 8.2 Image but no new radio and diddn't Wipe all. It flashed successful, but restart (HTC Logo) doesn't disappear after restart. I took out the battery after 30 minutes.
After this I had to use USB (recovery-windows.bat) to enter green menu. I did a Wipe Factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik. But my desire won't start.
So I tried flash my old image 8.1.4 again with wipe all. But nearly the same result. It hangs not on HTC screen but on this Nexus 4 color animation.
After this I tried to flash newest radio Radio-32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 and NeoPhyte 8.2. Not successful, desire hangs in HTC screen about 30 minutes.
Please can anyone help me? Is my desire dead or is it possible to make it run again?

you use an old method to root
it might be of benefit to run an ruu from your network to return the device to stock then re root it
if wiping data and reflashing does not work then you have so other problem

Click to collapse
go into recovery and flash a backup but if you havnt got backup mount usb and retrieve what files you need, then full wipe and reflash
regards
Try Full Wipe and reinstall the rom

Hello to everyone
I face s serious problem, with Runny Rom 7.0 beta.
The phone used to work until previous night. Suddenly, today in the morning i found the phone switched off, when I tried to turn it on the phone freezed at the HTC logo screen. Tried 4 times, but nothing!!
I cleared dalvik cache, nothing.
I installed Runny Rom ver. 6.1.1, cause it is more stable, but nothing!!!
The phone keeps freezing at the startup screen with the HTC logo. I have already waited from > 30 minutes so it cannot be CPU work load.
