Also, I couldn't find previous thread about ion f/w. Is it removed or I'm blind?

Need help rooting Xperia ion

Hi I recently purchased the Xperia ion but I am having trouble rooting the device I have owned android phones since the g1era but this Sony is giving me trouble. I tried. The method called root many androids but I get an error when I ran the batch file. So is there another method to root the Xperia ion. Because I searched the forums here on xda and I couldn't find any thing if any one can help thanks in advance

Look at rooting thread in development section. AT&T Ion, you need backup & restore apk for root method process
Edit: mistaken - rooting in General Section or Jeriku signature.

There is only 12 topics and none of them are for rooting

Oh laziness. It's on the first page of Google: "root at&t xperia ion"
I said I did find how to do it it's just not working and needed help .
Sent from my LT28at using xda app-developers app
The "root many android" is not the method we've all had success with. Check the root section in the link on my sig.
If you're on ATT ICS, then you probably don't have backup and restore installed.

Override/Disable pin code

Hi
On cm7 there was an option to disable pin code even if Exchange account require it.
Is there a way to disable it on cm10+?
Thanks

I know you are on the phone but if you are going to post this advice you should also open the post in mobile browser and hit the report button. I also am on my phone but I still report improper posting.

I personaly think that development is not stopped. I think that hashy still working on kernel and he release it when he finish his work. The other dev. (Sorry forgot his name) has broken battery so he can't do a thing now. But i still hoping that we someday receive the 3.4 kernel and Android 4.3 on our device.
