Better battery that will fit in an Otterbox Defender. - Galaxy S III Accessories

I'm looking for a higher capacity battery that will fit in my Otterbox Defender case for my SGH-T999.
My current battery is the stock 2100mha battery.
I would like one that is of any higher capacity, but will still fit in the battery compartment.

ZeroLemon puts out a great product. I own their largest extended battery for the GS3 and largest slim extended battery for the GS3.
Check out the slim extended battery here.
It's 2300mAh and fits just like the stock battery in the stock battery cover. But it lasts considerably longer than stock.

This is a good deal and I use these from time to time when I want a break from the 7000ZL lol. My girl uses one every day and will last her all day where stock would not. It says it has NFC but I haven't tested it so it should work. They sell a single battery for about 9 bucks well as one with no NFC. Worth a look at in my opinion. The 2300 fit in the stock battery cover as well.

No, it doesn't have NFC.
If you read the customer review in the Amazon page:
"At first glance the batteries looked a bit ghetto because somebody took a sharpie to erase the "NFC Enabled" label on each battery (because NFC is NOT enabled)"
I wanted to buy one of these but I don't like the lack of NFC

That aint bad for 20$. Two batteries and a charger (that I will never use)
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep em in mind. I'm still gonna attempt to find an extended life battery around 3000mAh+ with a rugged case that will fit it. I almost went for the Trident one, until I found out the battery in it is actually weaker than my stock one.
I just love the screen protector on my otterbox, I dont really want a case without one.

Well yeah, if you are not interested in NFC it's a very good deal for 20$

check this out ! a lot of improve than the OEM battery
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Anker-T-m...ccessories&hash=item33732f9f1a#ht_2425wt_1396
they have the best battery..... wall charge really fast like 2.5 hours . i have been using for 2 months and no problem
anker are known to be good batteries, but you should get the galaxy nexus battery that you can pick up from the verizon store. The OEM batteries have NFC capabilities the others do not. OEM should last longer too even though the mah are different.

Yup, and $25
Been on the VZ nexus extended battery for a month - wow it is great. Much better than I expected. Took off the label paper, trimmed off the plastic end caps to the battery height (with a razor blade). Left on the NFC antenna, but can get it thinner by cutting that off. My stock cover barely bulges. It's been $35 at Amazon (Samsung 2100 mah extended with cover) or at Verizon (lucked out when it was $25)
I just ordered the anker 2050 from ebay for 9.99 shipped.
I dont use nfc and our phones lack the secure element needed for g00gle wallet. I also wanted the back cover to fit correctly without having to modify the battery, and 50mha isnt a big difference.
Hands down nexus...

The better the system the more battery it Burns, I app pose that if the processors and memory were less consumptuous then maybe we would be better off. Honestly even if you are turning off certain process patterns or psych out the brain it won't help, the won't be such a thing as a perfect phone unless you built it yourself, but unless the boards and parts are sold to secure in sockets your out of luck.

should i get the extended or will this be good enough?

Mugen 2300mah extended battery

Hey everybody, I googled extended batteries for the gs3 & came across a mugen branded extended battery. I have never heard of it till' today, & have never purchased from them before, do any of you guys have one, or know someone who does? I'm looking for an extended battery but without all the bulk, any recommendations?
I actually have this.
I can't really whether there is a difference. I feel it is about the same or slightly better. Is there an app that can measure? If so, I can let you know.

My advise is just get a replacement stock battery. I think the additional amount doesn't justify it.

Any cases with build in battery?

Has anyone found any cases with a built in battery? There are some pretty good ones for the iPhone and was wondering if our phone had any.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
There's a few on amazon. I ordered the chromo battery case. All the battery cases have bad reviews because of overheating and not lasting long. I can confirm both are correct. The case is suppose to hold a 2100 MAH charge, but with a full charge it last for about an hour of charging (more or less). NOT WORTH IT.

What he said. Work bought me one of the extended battery cases. Its crap for protection, external battery is stated to have 3200mA but I don't see it. I came from the iPhone 4 with a 2800mA mophie case. If mophie is releasing a case, I would hold out for that. If mophie is true to form, the case will provide good protection WITH a reliable external battery.

Sorry to let you know but you just got ripped off. I bought a "2600" and a "2900" maH battery from eBay as well in the past, only to find out that they last me around 8 hours with about 1 hour and 30 minutes of screen on time - the true mAh in these batteries is around 1400-1700, if I had to take a guess. You can peel off the sticker on the 2900 battery you ordered and it will probably say the true capacity of the battery imprinted onto it. As I said in one of my earlier posts, the only "real" slim extended batteries are the mugen 2300, anker 2200, and hyperion 2200, in which the mugen comes out on top from personal experience =)

There is no way you believe that a random Chinese company making deals on eBay has somehow figured out a magical unicorn battery technology that allows them, not only to completely outdo Samsung in capacity, but also undercut them in price.
