[Flashing Guide] AOSPA 4.4.2 (PA 4.0 beta) for E975/F180

A very big thanks to @houstonn for his work... really love it when he develops something for our forgotten device.. <3

STEPS:
Download the Rom : http://90.hostingsharedbox.com:3000/roms/geeb/
Download Gapps : http://goo.gl/mYKmfL - RECOMMEND mini modular PA Gapps
Download the Kernel : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2588004&d=1392795429
if you have a F180 Device see 2nd Post before going any further....
1- Put these in a folder on your SD Card
2- Make sure your phone is atleast 60% charged
4- Boot into recovery
5- make sure these three files are accessible from recovery.
6- Do a NANDroid backup.
7- Wipe 4 things : Data, Cache, Dalvik and System (DO NOT WIPE YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE)
8- - Flash the ROM
- Flash Gapps
- Flash the Kernel
- Wipe Dalvik and Cache and Reboot into System.
on Language Selection Select English (US), because UK didn't work for me (Black Screen) and let the device take its time once everything is loaded open up Settings, Scroll down to the bottom Go into About phone and tap on the Build Number 10 times to activate Developer settings.
Reboot and enjoy the rom....

For F180 Devices edit your Build.Prop before Flashing any Custom Rom.
> Download the flashable rom ZIP on your Computer
> Download Notepad++ on your Windows OS.
> Open the zip file and without extracting it go to System and open up "Build.Prop" in Notepad++
> In that file scroll down to telephony section you'll see something like
"telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0
telephony.lteOnGsmDevice=1
ro.telephony.default_network=9"
> Remove these and replace them with these
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1
telephony.lteOnGsmDevice=1
ro.telephony.default_network=8
ro.ril.def.preferred.network=8
ril.subscription.types=NV,RUIM
>Save it and make change to zip
now copy that modified zip to internal sd card and flash the rom after wiping data,dalvik,cache and system.
flash gapps
flash kernel
wipe dalvik/cache
and flash ur valid modem in recovery
flashable zip modems : http://downloads.codefi.re/houstonn/lgog/modem/korean

Reboot into System
after start up
go to Mobile Network Settings
Select these options
CDMA Subscription Type : "RUIM/SIM"
Preffered Network Type : "GLOBAL"
Reboot
and enjoy the rom

will it work on f 180k with stock kdz( unlocked bootloader and cwm installed) ? or we need to flash e975 kdz first and than proceed furthur?

You dint get me . I meant do i need to be on stock F180 k kdz for this ?? Atm i'm running euro open (without network ).

rom based on aosp kernel, flashed f93 aosp kernel and nfc bug is gone now with the f93 aosp kernel, need to test whether it's stable with this kernel

tried all 4....
2 mako based and 2 gproj...
even tried older versions but none worked for me, wont get past the boot screen... not even after dalvik/ cache wipe....
anyways...
which of the kernels u tried is most battery friendly?

I am using this kernel http://xep.8800.org/e957/f93_geehrc_v0.5_cpq.zip
so far this looks stable to me with good battery life, i am using this kernel with Omni rom(build from kevin*)

İ use cwm ... Support cwm ? For beta 6

use the latest TWRP for lge e 975

+1 for TWRP
never had any issues whatsoever on TWRP
flash it, if you are not already on Twrp.

I've been using TWRP 2.8.0.1 to flash the Stock roms. Had no problems... Just need to get root again by flashing latest supersu...

So if the OTA-Update failes (like mine does if i download it) I can flash this one on my rootet F7 with stock recovery?
That would be great...

Yes you can, i did, but ota fails because you are rooted, nothing else!

Is this the chinese Version? I just have english ans chinese. And I did a dirty install and wiped just the cache - all my data is gone

no have thai languase ilike this rom and camera

Phone (dialer) is not working. Maybe if we flash the international modem of ColorOS 2.0 KK?

The Rom is compatible with X9076. It is stripped off of all the Chinese apps.
Ota 33 is the best.
Ota 34 & 35 have a few issues.

cannot get any of them to work...color Os stopped (recurring error..dalvik wipe and cache wipe did not help either-was guessing..reverted back to v32)

So far, so good!
Wifi works great, GSM and data connectivity too. Call quality is good, and i really like the design of the new dialer. ROM seems so smooth, maybe even smoother than CM11/AOSP.
Just one question @PecanCM , will you be adding app2sd function later?

I can't flash anything via recovery. There is no option "install zip" in recovery menu. Does it work with adb sideload only? And does it work with adb at all?

Nope, I was outside home and I'm on stock rom now, locked bootloader so I've to re-unlock it again and flash recovery.
Any M dual user could test please???

Unfortunately, it does not work, the icons of the two sims are present but no network.

Umm, it doesn't say anything about downloading. It clearly says "thread not complete" hence the lack of links or other info. I'm just as excited as everyone else to be flashing Roms on our new phone, a true test of patience

He created a devdb project so my guess is that he's uploading it right now and it will show up under the "Download" section.
Plus, it clearly says thread not completed

I wish I could flash Lollipop, but I rely too much on Xposed.

Basically i have a XT 1068...have installed stock Xt 1064 Firmware without fsg.mbn(Modem File) n have updated to android 5 manually without fsg.mbn .....so can i give you the link of my system folder....?? i think the system folder will be same..?? right??

What's working:
Everything for daily use like.
Call feature.

What's not working:
Nothing really... But you may face some lag or minor bugs after all its a custom ROM.
Only encountered issue so far is torch.

All 4 cores of CPU is not being utilized.

FM Radio.
You tell if you find any.

I have added basic gapps playstore play services, gmail and google keyboard as default input. You can install the others from play store or using google installer for miui.

Is it only me or the download link does not work ?

Can I flash this recovery with the help of flashify. ...Or is there is different procedure

Finally somoleone did it. We all are overjoyed, thrilled and very excited with this release.

Btw from the size of this rom it doesn't look deodexed.
Is it odexed?

with flashfy or by using fastboot

No. It's deodexed..
Size is small because i have removed a few chinese apps.
Plus it contains minimal gapps.

@Frank782 and @ArjunrambZ see if u can fix the torch issue though its not much needed but.....

Meanwhile i was uploading the Rom, I was also working on new build of MIUI 7 and its ready. Currently checking it if it needs som bug fixing. I think its little smoother than the previous one.. Uh..... Can't differentiate actually..
