I was wondering about flashing this rom "Android Revolution HD 1.2.3 | ICS | High Quality & Performance | HTC Sense 4.0" but when i read what you need i wonder one thing.
I have a stock 1.26.401.2 rom and have unlocked it and flashed it with "Official Clockworkmod Touch Recovery 5.8.2.7" and everything is good.
Can i flash the Android Revolution rom now or do i have to go to the firmware package and take a rom from there and flash over my stock rom before using the revolution rom?
You need:
HTC One X unlocked with htcdev.com (S-ON) or S-OFF (coming soon)
ClockworkMod Recovery or 4EXT Touch Recovery (coming soon)
Firmware package from here
Best regards
Hi. This is my first post. I'm a noob however I have rooted before (HTC Sensation XE) Several times in fact and I can quite comfortable install new firmware, roms, kernals etc to the device. However installing a Jelly Bean ROM on my HOX seems to be quite different. I'll give you my info and well you tell me what I should do next. I would like to clarify I have searched extensively and all information relating to this topic lacks something.

Unlocked bootloader and root access. I have a custom recovery installed and have performed a back up. I know I'm close to finishing this process. I need to choose a ROM and that's it essentially. However all this talk about boot.img and whatnot has bewildered me. Any help at all is appreciated. Sorry for being such a noob.
Thanks. :good:
renovate or ARHD if i where you and flash the boot.img with your rom with this command 'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
then 'fastboot erase cache' then flash the rom thru recovery and you r done

At the moment we do not have S-OFF which means we can't flash boot directly from recovery. You need to flash it using PC from fastboot.
Basically you do that by extracting boot.img from [insertromnamehere].zip to fastboot folder and flashing it from there using
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
I've attached fastboot if you're unsure of your's location.
Then install ROM in recovery using the install zip from sdcard option and finally wipe dalvik-cache, cache and battery stats in recovery
For choosing a ROM check this:

NOTE: Installing sense-based JB ROMs will limit your phones capabilities of installing non-sense ROMs later on.

May I suggest the Android Revolution HD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797334
Video for slightly older tutorial is in the ARHD post above.
Process I used on my Mac (for win ignore step 3 and for step 5 choose the bat file, linux choose appropriate files in 3,5)
1. Move Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_17.0.zip to root of SD card
2. Unzip Flash_boot_17.x_0.1.rar
3. chmod 755 the mac scripts install-boot-mac and fastboot/fastbook-mac in the Flash_boot unzipped dir
4. Put phone in Fastbook USB mode
5. Run the install-boot-mac.sh script in the Flash_boot dir to flash the boot.img file
6. Reboot from the menu and disconnect USB
7. Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
8. In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
9. Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of Android Revolution ROM
10. Use data wiping option in (AROMA) installer if if coming from stock or other custom ROM
11. Choose all needed options
12. After flashing process is complete, reboot the device
I can't really understand if you are going to update the hboot first.
You can't install any sense JB rom on hboot 1.12 !
To install JB sense roms you have to be on hboot 1.28 or higher

I have HTC One X with CID:HTC_044 (ASIA WWE) on 3.14.707.24.
I would like to know If I can install Roms like ([ROM] Android Revolution HD 21.0 | High Quality & Performance | Sense 4+ | 3.20.401.1) which are based on 3.20.401.1?
Best Regards
Check whether you have hboot 1.36...
If yes(which seems like from your firmware no), then you can install the above ARHD rom that you have mentioned!
Yes hboot is 1.36

Ok... Then you can flash any rom which can be found on the HOX forum!
Try some and settle with which you find the best!
Hi folks,
I'm about to install Android Revolution 9.1 on my Desire HD.
In the official post of mike1986. "[ROM] Android Revolution HD 7.3 & 9.1 | High Quality & Performance | O/C | Legendary", he recommends to flash the Radio "12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M". Is it still the best option for the latest ARHD version (Android Revolution 9.1)? Where can I get that Radio file? The link in the original post is not working anymore ("No working mirrors found for this file!")
Cheers
Radio
This radio is one of the best for DHD
