Has anyone else experienced the time randomly not change on the MD4 ROMS? I didn't get it with MB1. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this, it may be my phone.

I have noticed that it lags to refresh sometimes, usually just a half a second or a second though.

Download Koontz latest kernel and set it to cfq + kootservative that solved the lag for me.

I was wondering of anyone else has this problem. Everytime I am looking something up on the internet, my screen flickers with what looks like black and white lines. It happens very quickly and only seems to happen when scrolling through a page. Also, this problem only seems to happen while I'm using internet. Has anyone else experienced this?

Happened a couple times on my OG epic
I still don't know the cause, but my guess is overworked processor since it only happened the couple of times I forgot my phone was on performance mode all day

Most probably a rogue app not letting the phone sleep. Check what you have running in the background. Mined does that every so often if I dont close an app properly.

I already saw this a few times on my phone, but I don't know if it happening often, since, most of time, I turn it off myself

I agree
Seemingly randomly, not very frequently but enough to bother me, my messaging app will bug out and everything on the main screen will double. It's as if the app freezes but then I am able to scroll over the names that have frozen into the background. I am on macks rom but this has occurred with other stock roms before, don't remember if ever before actually rooting my phone. I'm about to give the aosp messaging app a shot anyway now but was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this as well?
I decided to white out my buddies in case u creeps try stalking them!

I don't really do anything it just randomly does it sometimes when I go to scroll....I easily fix it by ending the messaging app and then opening it again but that fact that it does it bothers me :-/ its only happened a hand full of times since October but still...

That used to happen on my s3....never figured out why though.

Hey guys. Just solved an issue with Pandora and not being able to create stations on the newest Pandora and being rooted. Now the only issue I'm having is my music being cut out whenever I open an app or really any button that isn't the main home button. It cuts out for like half a second. It's really annoying is anyone having or have had the same issue and any solutions? I thought it was just cyanogen mood but I've installed different roms and no go.

Are you on 4.2.2? Those roms are still a little buggy, so make sure you acknowledge that when you're using one
I had this issue using the BMS kernel. I switch to ktoonsez and it fixed the issue.

Hey all, the wake button lag was my #1 complaint about this awesome device. Maddening! I did the MB4 update to see if Albuquerque had lte yet (nope) but got this totally wicked surprise. Its close enough to instant wake now, before the wait was uncomfortably long. So even if you don't leave lte yet, don't wait for the ota just let kies make your phone better
Not really I still got the lag

Weird. Mine went from at least half a second to almost instant.
mine's pretty quick now
S Note is so much better as well. Opens the instant you press the button. The new widget is amazing as well. I love the update.
The only thing I'm worried about is the battery drain issue that came along with this update with the other carriers Note 2, S3 and other devices. Anyone notice it?

I've been reading about people saying the lag is gone but I still have it as well, when I press the power button there is like a .5 second delay before the screen actually turns on (has always been like this).
My lag is now gone also. It act's as if you press it twice because task manager comes up quickly.

I don't really have a feel for it yet, but I did notice more heat which implies faster drain.

So I'm not the only one who's been having this happen? It's actually kind of annoying that the task manager keeps popping up when I hit the home button. I thought it was only me but is there a fix for this or anything to stop it?
I'm having the same stupid issue! Man is it irritating.
This is the actual fix guys. See the screen shot. All you have to do is uncheck the home button activation for svoice. This has been a known issue since the S3

That only affects pressing the home button not the lock screen lag.

Unchecking that svoice option helped with the task manager issue but I still see some lag with either button.

I remember reading another thread when the note 2 came out. Someone mentioned that it was an exynos processor issue. I'll have to find the original thread.
Edit: FOUND IT!

I doubt it. When I'm on the stock ROM I have the wake up lag. When I'm on any CM based ROM there is no lag.
