Is it possible? I know it is with Touchwiz based roms, but I don't know of anyone that has ported it over to stock roms.
No. There is still a bounty going.
This has almost become a joke it is asked so often. Lol

If MIUI is based off of CM why do they not share the same abilities to theme? I am not trying to be negative towards either ROM but the themes on MIUI are a lot better and a lot easier to 'manage' (is that the word I am looking for?)
Also, before anyone tries to flame I do realize that the two ROM's are individual in nature in addition to peoples taste being different. It is just that a question.
MIUI isn't based off of CM.

lol, fail!!! Not trolling just made me laugh.
lol.... Easy enough to confuse though.
Both are AOSP builds
Yes they are both aosp but miui isn't based off of cm. Its nothing like it except for the kernel it uses.

My utmost apologies I was misinformed about this topic. I honestly read elsewhere that this was the case.
Mods may close this thread.

Its OK. Everybody makes mistakes. I love how customizable miui is. I had cm7 when I first rooted but when I found miui Ive not had another since.

As I have said a dozen times MIUI is an amazing rom but the lack of 4G ruins it for me. It makes sense though because no other roms would exist if miui had 4G. It balances things out. I am going to give boot manager a run and see how it handles MIUI.

That 4G issue does suck, but then, I guess I'm spoiled with WiFi at home and at work
miui build on top cm
Aha see to each his own. I catch the bus into town and work and 3G just doesn't do it like 4G. But if I was able to control my premium services aka turn on and off when I like then maybe.

Hey I have a friend who wants to flash roms on his Tmobile Note 2. The only problem is that all the TW roms I've seen don't support wifi calling. Is there a fix? Is this a problem with only stock roms?

There are quite a few that support wifi calling - any built from tmobile official bases really (like UVALK8 or UVALL4)
they should suport as long as they're not a port of the international/other carrier device ROMs
I know is early yet but is there a ROM base on the stock OS that keep all features? I don't want to lose them specially wifi calling! Thanks in advance!

What kind of features of the stock rom do you have in mind and want to to keep?
All the stuff which requires you to sign in then wants to sell you stuff? LOL
You cannot loose wifi calling unless you flash a rom which is not 100% Tmobile compatible like any of those
CM/AOSP/AOKP roms.
If you only flash Tmobile Touchwiz Jellybean 4.2.2 based custom roms you will always have wifi.

Most, if not all the roms in the development section are stock with extra features. As the other person mentioned aosp roms won't have wifi calling. Best bet is to not flash any roms from the original development threads.

I like some of the apps that my phone came with. I assume that by using Titanium Backup I can back up those apps and just restore them to my new ROM when I install that ROM. Like the Office App.
I think the features that the OP is talking about are the features like the S View, the gestures, smart scroll, and other features like that.

Those features that you listed will all work just fine in any Touchwiz Jellybean 2.2 stock or custom roms.
How ever most of those features will not work if you flash any AOKP/AOSP/CM roms.
And who ever wrote that "MOST" of the custom roms are jellybean based is simply wrong.
Check out the two development threads, the "Tmobile Original" Development thread is full of the CM/AOKP/AOSP
roms and the "T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android Development" thread has more CM10/AOSP/AOKP roms
in it now than it has Touchwiz Jellybean 4.2.2 based custom roms making it difficult to tell which is which until people
flash them and then start complaining that this and that don't work or don't work properly.
Just my personal thoughts....................

I was not making fun of you, I was just being honest. LOL
can anyone suggest me some roms with wifi calling? it is an important feature for me as i don't get much reception at home.
Tweaked. Bar none best rom.

You need a touchwiz based rom. The latest android vwrsion is 4.1.2, anything currently higher is non-TW and does not have wifi calling.
I'm currently using jedi master 14 which supports wifi calling. Also have used the older frosty jellybean.
Btw this question belongs in the q&a forum, so expect the moderators to move it.

Tweaked is the best!!! It has wifi calling and everything. The S4 themed Rom is also another good one those 2 are the best roms for the Note2

My vote is for Jedi Master 14. SaberKernel is by far the best out IMO.
I've never had an issue with lockups, sods, or random reboots. Tons of features
Plus you will love his installer. The themes are built right into the zip! ::good::
Also I think this is the wrong place for you to make a thread. This is the android Development section. This thread belongs in general or q&a.

Pretty much any room made from a Tmobile base. Jedi Master is a very popular one, wrong forum for this question.
I'm new to the modded Android scene, and I'm curious if anyone knows what the best kernel to run would be for Kit Kat. I'm not even sure of the differences between them all, honestly.
Stock. Always stock from the rom you're running, if you want the best experience. At least from the better roms out there.

Which rom using? Stock or AOSP?

I'm using the Beanstalk 4.4 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485628&highlight=facebook). I can't seem to find any kernel there. I do notice that my Google Now function is gone, and it's not syncing my fb with my contact on my phone...any chance this could be due to an improper kernel being used?
Try them all, best is truly in the eye of the beholder, and is subject to the individual.
These threads get shut down as users are expected to try and make their own determinations as XDA is not a support site.
