Any ideas?
As in FM radio? The US Sprint Note II doesnt have the hardware so no FM Radio.
Shouldn't matter I wouldn't think. Just depends.
Accept superuser to do so then go into su settings and take off that particular notification pop-up.
Just throwing that out there.
Are you using superuser? I had that issue in the past with my E4GT using superuser. Only fix was to switch to supersu.

I mean it was a known issue with superuser back then and the only fix was to change over to supersu. Wasn't that clear enough in my original post? Lol.. Last I heard was that it was being worked on by the developer but I always kept encountering the issue til I switched to supersu.

You should just fix permissions inside of your actual recovery instead of rom manager.

My phone has been locking up on the homescreen. I can't scroll pages or open apps. It then comes back to working and says "shell granted su access" on the bottom of the screen . Are these two instances connected ? How do I fix it from freezing like this?
Mine does the exact same thing, have no idea what causes it but it does become a pita!

OK, did this appear after rooting or after flashing a ROM once rooted? If it is first option how did you root (link would be helpful) and what is your superuser app?

Okay so I had this same problem happen again and so I started searching all over and came across a thread in the i9300 section where another was having a similar problem. He concluded that after the phone had been up for 24 hours or so there was a big memory leak with kiesexe found in /system/bin. So he made a cwm zip that disabled kiesexe in that folder. I flashed it the other day and haven't had that problem yet and I've also gained about 100 mb more ram! I'm just heading to bed so I'll post it all tomorrow for anybody else having that stupid issue!

Fixed it on mine by installing supersu from market ..make sure to give it root access then remove superuser.. there is some bug in last version OS superuser.

There is currently a bug in samsung kernel that will allow any app to obtain root even on non rooted devices without any prompts this could be potentially be very damaging if it's a malicious app
App to verify if you are affected https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lowlevel.exynosmembug
Temp fix apk *requires root though*

I believe previous exploits like super one click involved running the apk and commands were done in terminal and adb debug had to be checked off so the user should be well aware of it running. I'm not certain but I believe this one will allow an app to get root even on unrooted phones with out access to terminal so pretty much without the user knowing. Well any how I just prefer to be safe.
I rooted jb with it

It's an easier way to root than being tethered a computer and having to use odin. Especially with the jellybean leaks.

But data/ internet seems to work. Stays in data roaming most of the time. Was on swamp monster and stock. Sprint couldn't fix it either. All of a sudden it started doing this. I also have a second note2 with SwampMonster and that phone works great. Also have a s3 on wicked sensations that works great as well.
Any ideas?

Best advice would be to find one of the signal checker apps in the play store and see what signal strength you're getting. If it's weak you know the problem is with Sprint. If it's strong then you would need to look deeper into your phone/ROM/firmware etc.
