Have you looked at the Cyanogenmod list of supported devices ??
It can be found on the Cyanogenmod website....
If not found there, they either have no support, or are in the process of getting support....
Not all devices will be supported...clearly.....g
I see from your other thread that you were able to restore your device again...
And are you sure on that model number ??
SGH-I317
SGH-I317m
Those are the supported models in this section.....and if you have any other model...take great care in flashing anything not specifically for those devices...or you could brick the device....as in dead.......g
thanks for the advice. I think i will need to wait before installing cynogenmod on my device :crying:
Or maybe i just didn't see it

Hello ...
I got on my tab 2 cyanogenmod with android 4.3 ....now i buy the new tab 3 7.0 it only got the old 4.1.2
i need for my family the multiuser option that included with android 4.2
is there any way to get android 4,2 for this tab ? or somebody know about a update from samsung ?
You might want to put the model in the post title. The new Sprint version is model SM-T217S and it has 4.2.2. There are various models which have various options for available ROMs.

READ the first post in the CM11 thread. That rom is not ready for daily use. If we knew how to fix those issues, it would be fixed already.

That depends on how you can help.
We all want it to work, but I personally don't know much about rom building or troubleshooting, but I have tried them all and tried what little I do know to get it working. So far nothing.
But we cant harass the few people that are building for this device or we might lose them.

Why do you open 2 Threads with The question, take a look to The dev Section, or use The search Funktion.
I picked up a used Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite from a friend who wasn't using it anymore.
I have a Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10 and am very familiar with rooting, roms, etc. with those devices.
However, I am not sure what I can do with this device as I'm not sure which forum I should be in.
Is this device the same as the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 device? Where would I got for rooting and rom downloads?
Thanks.

Why do you want the rom from the SM-T330 on the SM-T310? They use different SOC's (SM-T310 uses Samsung's Exynos chipset while the SM-T330 uses a Qualcomm chipset). So the sources are not really compatible.
Furthermore, they use different graphics chips. So, while you *might* technically be able to run the SM-T330 ROM on the SM-T310, it probably isn't worth it.
Especially since some people already have an unofficial build of Cyanogenmod 12.1 for it (Android 5.1). Why don't you get involved with them instead?
Look over their repositories and their commit history to understand what they did and why they did it (assuming good commit logs).
See the subforum post here:

Am already running cm 12.1 ROM but am not able to get touchwiz interface and launcher ........ That's the only problem I have
