editing contacts and the "ME" entry - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have an entry in people for myself with all my numbers, addresses, facebook link for the contact pic, etc. The ME entry is blank however, and all the messages and such in messaging just show a blank pic for me. Is there a way to link a contact entry to the ME entry or do I need to reenter all the info to get rid of the blank pics?

How to set ME as a specific ontact (Set owner info)

If i look at the SMS messages i can see "Me" who send the messages without a picture. Then i also see a picture of somebody whe send me an SMS.
I think me = ugly and i want to set it to a new person ( my exchange data where i am present). Is there a way to link that ME to an outlook account that's actually me ?
I tried doing this by selecting on 'ME' from the SMS conversation; this brings up 'My contact card' but it is just forever loading and nothing appears.
Yep and what i would like to is to link that to myself in the Exchange contacts. I hope this is possible. The trick is how ?

[Q] Cannot send message or email to "ME" contact

I'm running Mynn Warm 2.2
I have set up a contact with my email address and phone number as "ME" so i can easily send myself a txt or email for capturing information. I can see the contact in google contacts under My Contacts. I cannot however send an email or txt message to that contact in my messagin app, either default or Handcent, and i cannot send an email to that contact because "ME" doesn't show up as a valid contact when i type ME in the "to" field. Can someone help me figure out how to have my phone recognize ME as a valid contact and be able to send myself txts and emails to this contact?
I'm wondering if it may ahve something to do with the "My Contact Card in the Sense rom???
Just create another contact with your name and info that should work.

Can't edit Google contacts on phone? Halp!

Hi guys. I am having trouble editing or adding info to my contacts.
I have google contacts synced and am only viewing those in my contacts. When I go to edit a contact, like adding a phone number or changing an existing number, I press the save button and it's like nothing happens. I can't press the back button or menu button. If I hit the home button, it takes me to the home screen but if I go back into contacts, it's like its stuck on the contact I was trying to edit. The only thing that functions is the Cancel button, which maddeningly asks if I'd like to discard my changes. If I do that, it simply discards my changes and the info I attempted to add vanishes.
If I go to gmail and edit the contact there, no problem. It syncs to my phone and all is well.
Why can't I edit contacts via the phone itself?
NVM, problem appears to be haxsync related but I still can't edit contacts that are linked to haxsync.
I don't use haxsync but here's an idea: Make sure that when you are viewing your contacts from your phone-that you are actually viewing the entry of the "google account", (and not your haxsync account, or other)
To test this, open Contacts, click on the bottom left Options button, scroll down and select "Contacts to Display". Click on your google account name, and then your will be viewing your google account records only, and you should be able to edit those from your phone...
Let me know what happens.
Some related background: You can't edit a facebook account entry from your phone - even if it is joined with a google account entry of the same name. When you display a contact who is both a google account and facebook contact- (depending what your settings are for "accounts to display") the same contact might have multiple sub-screens: eg. the google one which is editable, and facebook one- which is not.
