5. reboot and complete the setup wizard
NOTE 1: No wallpaper is showing. Add one with Wallpaper Wizardrii
Installation Procedure - Step 2 patch
1. Reboot into CWM5
2. mount system, flash patch-09.07.12
NOTE: After phone boots, status bar is gone, theme is also changed. Don't worry
3. Reboot phone into CWM5 again
4. mount system, flash undo-09.07.12 and reboot
5. Reboot phone into CWM5 one last time
6. mount system, flash patch-09.07.12 , reboot

Hints and tips:
1. XPERIA S Launcher supports adw icon packs. Choose your pack from launcher preferences
2. Wallpaper Wizardriii is a cool app that lets you crop walls portrait or landscape way. Tweak it's setting for optimal performace
3. You can also install QuickPic and use it as your default image viewer and use Wallpaper Wizardriii for croping portrait walls
4. To mount USB after applying layouts, you need to press image on screen... there's no button
5. ICS Theme version is 032-build-408
6. ICS Layouts version is 012
7. acpather v5.31 was used to patch apps and framework
8. XPERIA S Home Launcher version is 0.9.1b

Bugs and issues
-- If too many notices on status bar then will overlap centered clock
-- Even though Sansation font was created for multi-language support and complex writting, you may experience some weird characters
-- Sometimes when pressing search in Play Store or address bar on browser, app dissapears and only keyboard shows. If you start typing app will appear again
-- Low screen backlight when booting phone but brightness gets back to normal level after a few secs. It's a FireKernel issue and maybe this was done to save battery

i think there's some learning to be done, JIT was added in android 2.2 and provided a good performance boost to android in general, theres almost absolutely no good reason at all to disable it, if a ROM doesn't work with it enabled i'd consider it broken... typo maybe? is it REALLY disabled?

On this rom, there's a bug with BT headset not working correctly with phone audio, only with multimedia audio, does it still exist here?

Thx for your great work! I am surprised that nobody on XDA comment on this? There are not many quality ROM
options for us (like for my previous phone, HTC DESIRE) so i am glad if someone like you did great job and give
us ROM which can be used daily, even it is officially in beta. This Emotion UI is basically renamed MIUI project
so i exactly know what to expect.
Great thing is that is sound now "Dolby enhanced" for all system, not just when you play music. Battery life is OK
(I use "intelligent" settings). What I missing, is Huawei keyboard, which I think is very good, and have bigger letters then
Xperia keyboard, anyway, since I do not care about swype, I installed GO Keyboard. One thing that I personally do not
like in MIUI-like ROM, is IOS behaviour of putting all apps (old and new) on home screen, so i must rearrange them and
put in folders. Also, what is missing and i think for others will be good, if they come from "classic Android", is application
which shows all installed apps in one click (in my case, I use "Draweroid", and its icon I put at the bottom, in the middle,
so i can always can back to "normal apps show").
In my case, I originally came from ROM B100 (Croatia, Vipnet). I upgraded to latest B229, flashed Clockworkmod v5.5
touch and root the phone. After that, it comes you ROM. Please continue to upgrade it

Just a heads-up marismillas. Root Explorer is a paid app and is then pirated if you release it free in your ROM. You should remove it from your ROM and re-upload your nice work.

I wanted to ask a few questions before installing the ROM:
There is the online store that to download themes?
There is the theme ANDROID? (the one with icons stock etc.).
How do you get the status bar black? (it is much better than white)

I installed this Rom at the weekend. It works MUCH better than the Emotion UI 1.5 (B315) ROM from Huawei.
I was impressed with the stability and that there is about 200MB more available space with this ROM compared to the one above after installing over 70 apps.
There are a few issues though:
The phone signal does seem to not be as strong as it was on the old B229 ICS ROM though.
The Ringtones seem to go back to default after restarting sometimes.
The battery life could be better.
Also, all of my weather widgets that worked on B315 now have missing icons (see red box in the attachment). This happens with both Eye In The Sky and BeWeather. Is there a fix for this? Or any similar widgets that actually work?

Just a follow up on my point about weather widgets problems. I have now tried 3 other widgets that provide multi-day forecasts and none of them work. It seems to be a location issue whereby if they cannot determine your location, they don't load properly.

The objective of this rom is to give the user a very clean and stable rom for daily use without losing the original UI and useful LG applications.
Personally tested this rom on my phone and it seems very stable. It works like a charm!

- Boot into recovery (CWM)

1. Do i need stock rom to flash it?Currently i'm running Official CM 10.2
2.Does the framework supports multi dpi?I mean, if i change stock launcher or lockscreen dpi(i usually use 240),will it go offcenter?I don't care about the stock launcher that much, since i use nova, but it would be great to have the stock lockscreen at lower dpi's. At 320 it looks like it's designed for people who can't see very clear .

I've even asked to MysteryEmotionz to create a Kernel for us, some version where tested by a another Portuguese member, but the kernel was not 100% working (wifi problem)

No you don't need to be in stock rom. You can flash it while you are in CM but don't forget to do a full wipe.
Answered 2: Nope maybe it will mess up but I didn't tried changing the dpi since I want to remain it stock but modified a little bit

Yes its me. Actually it's for my personal use but I don't want to be selfish so I decided to share it with you guys.

Downloading right now. Really want to try this new kernel and see the difference when running deodexed and zipaligned.

Flashed it,but i had to go back to 4.3,forgot to backup my calls/sms ...will return to this one and give it a chance.
Maybe you should try the themes from themes section,they look nice.
In the future,maybe you will integrate them in your rom. This promises alot,it has a solid,stable base. All it needs is a litle polish and fine tuning.
Found first small issue,it doesn't have all languages....

Maybe could You make zip which will bring stock statusbar back, so users could have choice.

I missed the stock look and FM radio!
Installed with TWRP recovery (Wipe Data/system/cache/Dalvik cache) and it worked like a charm, so I confirm that it will work for those who have TWRP.
If someone can add quick power menu, it will be great.
I'll post feedback after some hours and report bugs if I find some.

far apart? they are right where google intended them to be, lol.
I used the google version of battery which is blue and google's icons for 3g etc. that comes inside the phone's SystemUI.apk and is then shipped to samsung and samsung then makes a different file and uses green battery icons and their little symbols for 3g etc for touchwiz looks or theme...
so I pulled from the google file and renamed the files accordingly to replace the samsung files.. basically just brought back the google icons that google made for our device.
so its a little less touch wiz and just a little but more original android from google.

I will flash when I get home tonight! Looks like a great and stable build! Will report back later this evening!

Yea, the data icons seem to be far from the signal...almost towards thw center of the status bar. Same with the WiFi icon, a bit far from the rest. The clock itself also seems a bit spaced, causing the entire status bar to seem cluttered. Just my opinion though. This ROM is great however, fast, very stable. Thanks.

I used 2.6.3.1 and it flashed fine for me, but I did a proper Infamous wipe prior to flashing.

Before going from 4.2.2 or up, I usually flash twrp 2.5.0.0 to flash 4.1.2 roms . Only takes a minute and never have issues. That's a solid twrp version and was pretty much made with 4.1.2 in mind... At that time.
I keep 2.5.0.0 and 2.6.1.0 on my laptop so I can switch back and forth with Odin.

As far as the icon spacing go.... I usually set system ui to 200 or less dpi with Xposed.

I haven't been on a stock ROM since I first flashed the first custom ROM onto this phone. Your work sounds amazing, and defiantly worth giving it a go. Perhaps stock can be good :good::laugh:

the twrp 2.5.0.0 was a good idea so i gave it a shot but didnt get me past the shadow screen either. Funny I used odin to flash 2.6.3 and it didnt like that all together. Goo manager wont down load 2.6.3.1 to my phone. Maybe my phone is crap from to much flashing....lol but i have been loyal to rushing roms

Rushing's other 4.1.2 TouchWiz-based ROMs which include a recovery as part of the flashing process tend to use TWRP 2.6.0.0 so I'd recommend using that version for the best results. (unless you are planning to flash 4.3+ ROMs then 2.6.0.0 is a reliable choice anyhow)

Yeah your right that's what I started off with. Not sure the problem first time its happened to me. No worried the. Iced crystal is what I'm on and I'm not sad about being stuck with it....lol

2.6.1.0 boot looped for my. It would begin to load, then suddenly freeze and reboot. furthest I got was the boot screen being 99% done.

INSTALLING Procedure:
1.Make A nandroid backup as always
2.Boot to recovery(CWM or TWRP will do.)
3.Wipe data factory reset
4.Install Zip from SDCARD
5.follow aroma installer don't forget to check the checkbox under Agreement page in aroma installer
(please read and follow Agreement and Terms and Use)
6.after install wipe cache partition wipe dalvik cache.
7.reboot device wait for 2-5mins.
(note.!! Prestigio wizard is added for initial set-up.(I just Like It hehe ))
8.finally enjoy.

Bugs and fixes:
PlayStore Error 498/Insufficient storage - run RootEX navigate to system/etc/init.d/ DELETE "SDCACHE" script then navigate back to System click on /bin/ and delete "a2sd" and "app2sd" reboot device and its fix...
Status Preference under Settings > About Phone> Status - FORCE CLOSE ERROR (will release an update soon)
