So, after doing some research to 1) find a screen protector that doesn't mess with the capacitive buttons and 2) find a decent case that keeps my phone feeling as close to commando as possible, I settled on MediaDevil's Crystal Clear screen protectors and a $5 slim fit case I found on eBay. Managed to apply the screen protector flawlessly (was quite proud of myself, have botched many a screen protector in the past), the buttons work fine, and the case doesn't look too shabby either - decided to jump on blue after having been a red-centric person for the longest time. Not too bad, eh?
Anyway, just wanted to share the results. Cheers!
Link for screen protector? Thanks man also how do you like it I'm looking for one myself

It's good. If someone handed me another phone with it on, I wouldn't be able to tell it's on there unless I REALLY LOOKED/they told me.
Great thanks man

I received my HTC One today
I have already bought the MediaDeviil protector which came by the way while browsing Amazon...
Can you please share the link for the back cover? How is it holding up so far?
Thank you.

Yeah it does... I think I am about to buy one...
Well, I just bought it. If anybody wants, I can post pics or do a review when I get it... Just let me know..
alright ! sounds good man, i was waiting for the otterbox but i might have to give this a try first lol
make a mini review when you do get it
thanks!
Will do. Should be in by Friday-Monday it says.
It was the only positive thing about my Vibrant. I have a very disappointing Seidio case on my MT4G that was waiting on an Otterbox but will soon be covered in a Trident.

heres an video on the cyclops case
looks nice

Okay, this is definitely the best case I've ever had (Other MT4G cases I've had are: silicone, black rubberized hard case, and clear hard case). It does add some bulk, however. The material is very high quality and sturdy. There is NO creaking or anything like that. The video right above pretty much shows you everything about it, so I won't go into those details because it is much more effective to actually see it. If I can get a picture of my phone next to another MT4G without a case, I will post that. While it does add some thickness, you can't get true protection like this without a little thickness. Overall, it is a very high quality case, and I am happy with it. If you have any questions, just ask, and I will answer them for you.
Does this case like to collect dust that's all I need to know before I order it

Ordered on ePay from the Oregon seller. It arrived at my doorstep here in the SE in 2 days. Nice case - the design is well thought out and most of all, IT FITS! I kept the Realook and it took a minute or two to install. Looking through their current product offering, I see holsters and I am hopeful one will follow soon for this case.

Ok thanks ordering now can't afford to have my screen crack again even order zagg skin so I wouldn't scratch the back of the phone.

How hard is the case to take off? I was planning on charging batteries via external charger.
- Frank
I think the case is sold out for now.
Also, the case is not hard to take off at all. I did it yesterday while I was driving a manual car in traffic on the highway. Lol...
And one side note, I do notice that the outer silicone case around the edges of the phone does attract some lint after being in a linty pocket, but I love the case overall.
Just got my yellow and black one its awesome I order mines directly from the site http://www.tridenteer.com/categories/HTC-myTouch-4G/Cyclops-Series-by-Trident-Case/

too bad it doesn't come with the kickstand. I'll stick with the one i got from tmobile now. The kickstand is absolutely invaluable.
Oh hell... I just watch the video. Nice. The deal maker for me was finally finding a quality screen protector that covers the entire front side. I also like the fact that the hard case is easy to take off.
Buying this now. Amazon Prime....
Edit: Screw Amazon on this one. "Takes two to three weeks to ship" - yet they have it on Prime. Will just buy directly from the makers.
Does the screen protector effect the proximity sensor? I've had the proximity sensor lock up the phone from being able to hang up on some screen protectors.

Well I received my package in the mail today and what do ya know, its the carbon fiber skin I ordered! I bought a skin because I highly dislike cases, it always adds bulk and it really peeves me. Took me about half an hour to install it and I think I did a good job. Doesn't quite cover it 100% but i guess its enough.
Pros: Looks amazing
I like the texture
pretty good coverage
Cons: wasn't expensive, but it wasn't cheap either ($20)
Afraid it might peel (will update this in a few weeks)
still kinda slippery, possibility of it falling =\
I apologize for the blurry pics, I will post better ones once my camera is charged.
P.S. I also have a SGP Ultra-Oleophobic screen protector on, best screen protector I have used.
If you want to buy your own: Skinomi Carbon Fiber
SGP Ultra-Oleophobic
Looks quite good. I just wish they would make one that has front and back coverage. Having a cf back but stock front looks like skinomi did a half assed job.

That's why I put "The OP included the link" part. Just wanted to specifically point out that it's cheaper on amazon in case someone just googled skinomi and found their site lol. I would have ended up ordering from skinomi if I hadn't checked amazon first (wanted to take advantage of prime for shipping then found out it was cheaper) so I wanted to make sure others were aware.

I have the same thing, since this doesn't affect the car dock. I used the same skinomi carbon fiber kit on my Droid X, doesn't just peel off, you have to peal it off if you want it to come off..
I did use the screen protector that came with the kit, if you have any bubbles or blurs, it will go away within a couple of days.. I had 3 bubbles show up on my screen the next morning after installing, but it went away in 2/days.. I can't even tell I have it on, looks just like it did before I installed the screen protector..

They work fine just like they did for my Captivate too - put a T-shirt over your front buttons and try pressing them, does the same thing!
OP - Looks like "skinomi" charged you $20 for a pre-cut version of what you could have done yourself from an $8 strip from CarbonFiberFilm.com.... but hey, the cuts look good from what I can see in the pics, and it solves the issues people keep asking me about rounding off the corners on the back cover. I didn't do the back cover for a reason, so if you want to, buy this!

I've been using these on my T-Mobile G2 and HTC Sensation. The Screen Protectors have the most natural feel of the ones that I've tried.
I was also emailed a coupon code earlier today and I thought I'd share:
ve20
for 20% off.
Even works on the sale items. Hope it works for everyone!
PhantomSkins
I just got this! Didn't bother with the screen protector though. I'm only using it for the back. I got the matte finish one and it is EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Any pictures I'm curious

I just got their screen protector and im sad to say its terrible. I have gotten phantom skinz for all my phones and suggested them to everyone. They have all been great until this one. I dont know what happened. Its VERY streaky and makes the screen really hard to read. They sent two and they both look like that.
I'm not asking which one to get or anything like that. I'm curious if they are worth it? I know this phone has gorilla glass but I've always had screen protectors on my devices. So I'm a little weary about not having one.
I ask because I just got the diztronic case (had an otter box) and loving it and its size. But if it peels the screen protector I have I might not replace it.
So, are they worth it? If you don't have one, how's your screen looking?
Thanks.

Hey how does the screen protector feel on? I'm sporting a cruzerlite and that's it, and all I have is a tiny almost invisible scratch at bottom
Xtremeguardz has a full skin for our phones on eBay. Buy it now is 3.99 with free shipping. You can bid on a separate listing by them and its 99¢ with 2.99 shipping. I've heard nothing but good things about their products. I just bought an otterbox (I'm currently rocking the diztronic) but the diztronic peeled my screen protector. I don't have one installed currently but so far my entire phone is pristine.
Honestly, I think they're worth it (if you get a good one) because although the cases are great (I've dropped mine with the diztronic on concrete atleast 4 times and still no damage) if we drop our phones and it just happens to land face down on a random rock, we're probably screwed.

Feels good. you cant tell because its nice & smooth like if you were to just have an open screen. only thing is at the bottom corners, the edges of the protector didnt cover full bottom. other then that its fine

Yo I just ordered an Otterbox ($6.75! Brand new) and I just wanted to know how it feels. Like, it's not too bulky is it? I know its an otterbox so I want protection but it doesn't completely turn the device into a brick like those generic two-piece cases does it?

I had the otter box since November. Its not that bulky. Not as bad as other otter box models. It does make the phone a little bigger but not unmanageable. I recently bought the diztronic because I wanted something a smaller.
I might go back to it depending on what others say about not having a screen protector. I have ghost armor now but this new case wants to peel it. I knew about that before buying as it fits really well. But if gorilla glass isn't what it is then I will go back to the otter box with a screen protector.

Oh whoops- No I haven''t used a screen protector at all since I got the phone in November- I've put the phone through about 8 months of wear and tear in laborer jobs and such and it has held up quite well. When I hold it up to the light there are no scratches- scuffs or other damage to speak of.
I can vouch for the xtremeguards. I've had mine for 5 months or so with no issues. Also have a cheap ebay case I've used since the first week I got it (January). Small dent on 1 corner from when I dropped it the first week... Other than that, its perfect. I've also used invisi-shield in the past and I prefer xtremeguards.

Hello all, figured I'd pop in and do a short review/first impression post of some Halo screen protectors I bought on amazon. since buying something for the first time and being nervous on quality can make it hard for someone to make a decision I hope this helps to make it easier. I highly recommend them for affordability, fit, clarity and durability. I've used Halo screen protectors on my precious phone (Evo LTE)) and was also impressed with them. I work in a dusty/grimey shop and my fingers definately put the protector to the test...for roughly 6 bux for a 3 pack they are a great deal too. They are made of a stiffer style plastic that is easy to apply once you verify edge fit and align before releasing the plastic and it sucks itself to the screen. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I will try to help/answer as best I can.

Yea give them a shot...I never heard of the brand until buying for my ego ltd and now for my HTC one. amazon is where I usually get them with free shipping (if you spend a certain amount). In my case they are cut so accurately that you don't have a screen protector edge, they go right to the very edge...
