This is great! Makes it soo much easier for anyone to change the battery icon on the fly. Just curious though, did you just simultaneously post this to every Galaxy S3 Themes and apps forum? Love it, adding it to my list (link in sig)!
Hi all
Thank to Romcrazguy for bringing this to s3 forum.
If you have any issue or request, post to Original thread by me as said above

Firstly,
Thanks to original21 for posting eng.stk & blackhand1001's DarkerMod Universal Theme. And thanks to original21 for his work to help make it even better.
Credit me only the app/contacts background examples.
All the real work is theirs and all other credit is eng.stk, blackhand1001 & original21's, not mine.
Here is original21's thread - please go thank him if you appreciate this thread. Thank me too but thank him first
Also check to see if your ROM is good for this. Some have reported issues on some.

I like to direct people to the original work so please go there for full instructions on flashing the zips in custom recovery
[no need to wipe & I am not responsible for any damage you do in the process of flashing or as a result of the DIY]
DIY
Here's what I did. [I'll do a better diy if requested]
Super easy..
1. Open zip archive in 7zip
2. Navigate to framework nodpi folder and replace background picture with one of your choices [720x1280 but it'll stretch in landscape]
3. Navagte to system app Contacts nodpi folder and replace background. Same deal as 2.
I'm on apophis9283's AOKP 4.2.2 and have only tested on this. Universal Black Backgrounds v8.4 has not interfered with any other zips/mods or setting changes on my phone, with or without my bg's.
You can find his rock solid build here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106640
Here's my examples and the zips/wallpapers are below.
I call them examples because ultimately I hope you will do your own and share them with me.
I find this to be a simple way to personalize and get eng.stk & blackhand1001's amazing black menus and the additions made by original21.

So all know, the Theme-Engine in PAC have some Issue and many Themes not work
But any User report, any Themes works.
How to find out, a Theme work:
Pick any from Google Play Store and then go to Settings -> Design
If you see a Preview-Picture, so you can try and test. Next look if all was the them can work. At last test Reboot in Recovery and Shutdown.
If you have no Issue, then report here with link to Playstore.
a User have reported Crystal2 Theme work
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.darkdog.theme.crystal2
IOS 7 theme work for me too
i cant find the right link now, but the creator is : Ibocharov.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.r3dx.theme.cm10.lunarui works
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TUN_SD.theme.JellyBlackFree works
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nitroz.blackexodusfree
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tmobile.theme.Matte

Hmmmm...this is the step for sideload installer if you have a bunch of themes in your SD card....
1. Using Root explorer (or any file manager that have thumbnails view) go to the folder where you save your themes....
2. look carefully at the themes....which ever themes that show themes thumbnails, that is the themes that will work on PAC 4.4....just install and apply that themes...if there no thumbnails (only green android logo) then themes will not work.....
MoKee have an app to convert any theme to the new standard.
It looks a bit complicated but is not too difficult and it works
Issues with themes:

Hello Everyone
You might have heard about the New Rumored Icons by Google called Hera for Android. I tried to mod some gapps and was successful.
Currently I am succesful in modding
1) Play Music
2) Hangout
3) Camera ( From Cm 11 ) I am running CM 11 thats why I modded that cam . If someone would give me a stock version I will mod it too.
I am working on Other Gapps.
All apps I have modded and will mod in future will be of latest version.
One thing to note here : Do not update any Gapps from the playstore after you have installed my version as installing new version might replace the icon . I will mod the latest version once its released by Google.
Link: https://app.box.com/s/c2r9od7r8zri28uxd4y0
Instructions :
Navigate to your system/app .
Delete your app *for ex Hangout*
Copy my modded version.
Paste it to System/app with permission r-w-r-r
P.S I am having some errors in modding G + and Gmail. IF anyone is willing to help please PM me. I am just a starter at modding apps. It would be great if someone would help.
Thank you
Hope you all like the mod .
use vr theme and your work would be simplified 100 times

Xposed Working On REDMI 2 PRIME..
Q: What is Xposed Framework
Ans: Xposed is a framework for modules that can change the behavior of the system and apps without touching any APKs. That's great because it means that modules can work for different versions and even ROMs without any changes (as long as the original code was not changed too much). It's also easy to undo. As all changes are done in the memory, you just need to deactivate the module and reboot to get your original system back. There are many other advantages, but here is just one more: Multiple modules can do changes to the same part of the system or app. With modified APKs, you to decide for one. No way to combine them, unless the author builds multiple APKs with different combinations.
NOTE: Xposed framework only works with root access on
Please install it only if you're willing to take the risk of boot loops. Just because it's working fine and stable for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone the same way.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Download And Install Xposed
2.Open Xposed app Press Install/update it will ask for reboot then wahooo you have Successfully Installed Xposd
Dowload Xposed Installer apk here xposed-
