So for several months I been just floating around on a rooted stock rom, and honestly no troubles there what so ever.
I decided to flip back over to Cyan/Aokp to see what the new updates were all about, upon doing this I installed Cyan mod just like any other day.
Wipe Data/Caches/Dalvik/System Format etc etc.
Boot up Cyan, all works great. But can't connect to my network. At this time I figure ya know it's just the file, I wipe and give er a go with AOKP.
Same results!!!
What am I missing here people?! :S
Have you checked you IMEI ?
Could have lost that or maybe a re-flash is needed. What ROM did you specifically try ?

There you are, hednik. I was wondering where you'd been.
If you flashed the carrier-appropriate rom, check your APN settings too.

Hey!
Thank you so much for the quick reply.
I Flashed to the lastest Cyan10, and after not having using my data I flashed to AOKP also the most current. Using the newest GAPPS and Clockwork Mod for flashing purposes.
IMEI is that where you dial *XXXX#? if that is the case, I am unable to make any dialing commands due to the network loss.

I went into the Mobile Network settings and tried to find my Networking manually/automatic and nothing came up.
I've flashed the correct AT&T rom to my Bell Galaxy S3 Device.
I apologize, I also went into APN and selected PDA.Bell.ca and nothing.

You'll find your imei under settings in the about phone > status and about half way down is imei.
If your imei is 0 you'll need to do the steps on the page above to restore it.

I've never had to restore my imei so I'm not fluent on this.
You need to be running a stock ROM for this as far as I know. You need to go into a service menu and enable modem before the phone can talk to the program to reinject your imei.
Someone please correct me if on wrong. I know I had to flash the stock ROM to backup my imei.

Maybe that's the dealio!!
I'm looking for the service menu to enable modem and not seeing anything.
Any idea if I can flash rooted stock for this to be okay?

The service menu is after flashing stock and entering the dialer code.
Unfortunately flashing stock will not restore your imei

Is you IMEI listed in about phone ? Is it correct to the one behind your battery ?
Did you go back to stock and do a factory reset ?
What are you on right now ?

Hello everyone, firstly I'd like to apologize in advance if this has been answered before. I searched and could not find a resource to help me with my problem. Here goes, I recently purchased a SGH-T889 Galaxy Note II. I managed to unlock the device and popped in a AT&T sim card. All was well until I decided to flash the AT&T varient stock firmware on it and that's when everything went wrong. Odin failed at the very end of the flash and the phone would not boot. I flashed back to TMobile stock and the phone boots into the OS fine but now the IMEI is blank, the baseband is unknown, and it says there is no SIM inserted. I also noticed when the phone is connected via USB the internal storage is not accesible, says there is 0 space. After searching around and reading up a bit it seems I have screwed up my EFS partition. Being the extreme noob that I am unfortunately a backup was not made prior to flashing. Am I screwed? I've tried reflashing different versions of the stock but I still get the same results. Is it possible to use a EFS backup from a different phone and insert the IMEI from my phone? Any help will greatly be appreciated.
:crying:

Flashing to stock is not your problem. If you're booting you're fine. You will need to restore your imei now. There is a guide in development (edit I actually didn't find it when I just checked, but that guide above should work). I'm sure you realize this now, but never Odin something not made for your phone.

Thanks for the links. I don't have the phone on me at the moment but will give this a try and hopefully this will fix the issue. When this happened to you were you able to see any internal storage from your PC and or the phone itself? When I went into the storage area under settings it displayed how much space was being used by the apps but it also said 0 was available.

nothing can be done at this point you will have to pay for the support.
Always remember to make a backup of EFS before flashing files.

i did a bad flash one time and i lost all my information my IMEI and my BASEBAND . the way i fixed it was via the KIES SAMSUNG SOFTWARE i did a full recovery.
1. open program
2. click on tools
3. select firmware upgrade and initialization
4. type in model number with caps and dash click ok
5. it will ask for serial number
6. if you do everything correct this should work and it will tell you you will lose all information on phone click yes and it will start to download new firmware and it will update your phone to new firmware . and you should also be able to get your IMEI back and the BASBAND back . that's how i fixed my phone for a min i thought i had a brick . this happen to me twice and twice i was able to recover my SGH-T889
