[Framework+App][S/SL/acroS/ion & More] Stop Launcher Redraws - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Ok I found a really nice application that locks launcher in memory and stops the redraws in your launcher! We all know that Sony's launcher has many redraws and it is very annoying. So here it is ,Xposed Installer + App Settings ,the best combination to lock launcher + widgets in memory and stop redraws!
Xposed Framework download here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
App Settings download here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072081
Install Xposed Framework ,then install App Settings ,go to Xposed Installer and in the Tab called "modules" tick the App settings and reboot. After reboot open App Settings and search "home"(it's the name of Xperia Home launcher. If you are using another launcher ,search the name of your launcher) ,choose your launcher and swipe the button to turn it on and choose "resident" option. Save changes and go back to your home screen. It will restart the launcher and after that will lock you launcher in memory = no more redraws!!
Also you can resident your widgets like weather and tools ,just search widget instead home and repeat the steps above.
Good luck guys. Hit thanks if I helped you.

Disabling TouchWiz? [with video]

Hey,
I found this video on youtube:
On the left it shows the Galaxy S without TouchWiz.
So it seems possible to disable TouchWiz.
Can you confirm that?
could that be one of the launchers installed?...looks nice though
I think like the poster of the video has written, it's the app LancherPro
thanks for confirming that u need to read up more.
Just an alternative launcher as ADW or LauncherPro...
Touchwiz is still probably running in processes...
oh thanks,
I havn't read the comments.
its launcherpro beta...just downloaded it, seems very nice

But will it disable touchwiz, or will that run in background and eat power from the battery, if so, it's no point running an extra UI on top of touchwiz.
for now, just remove all widgets from TW, and reduce all the screens available. Then run ADW or LP...the battery drain from TW is actually pretty negligible.
LauncherPro works great
I have installed LauncherPro. Works really great. I made it default application for home button and killed the default launcher service in the taskmanager. After rebooting all lag in opening applications was gone and the default launcher didn't started Now only LauncherPro working...
I'm expecting my phone tomorrow and I'd also like to get rid of the samsung interface. Launcherpro looks good. Does anyone know if Beautiful Widgets will work on this phone? (levelupstudio.com/widgets/weather)
Will you lose things like swipe and layar when you you install an app like that? And sorry for the noob questions, this is my first android phone.
Beautiful Widgets is running great on mine with launcherPro.

Launcher Pro really is amazing.
Hmmm, and how to enable the TW Launcher again in case it's not automatically started after a reboot?

Thanks
I'm using LP and after i read this topic i went to
Setteing > Applications > Manager applications
then change the filter to all and scroll down to TwLancher
then u can Force close it BUT! i think this will effect other parts coz as we all know we use TW in the contacts list, call log and the dailer.
So after u close it u cant use this features like swipe to call or swipe to msg and i cant live without them , well thats wt happened with me, i swipe but it do nothing! and after i relaunch it it didnt work also so i restart my phone and its ky now
so if u use them "there r diffident dailers if u like to use" dont swich off ur TW launcher.

Is possible to reduce the NavBar

Hello boys!!! It wanted to ask if it is possible to reduce the NavBar. I would be interested to have it in 20 dpi.
Thank you :good:
Well, I have solved by half the matter. We go to it:
1º: To install Xposed of here http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk (thanks to slass1990)
2º: To install Xblast Tools (1.6.1)
3º: To go to the module that we have just installed (Xblast)
4º: To go to bar of navigation / height sweeps (I mark 24dpi)
5º: To mark above the color of the bar and 6 to take it to the transparent one (this me has not worked)
6º: To go to framework and to restart.
I hope that you like

My phone is rooted and this still does not work. This app seems to be hit or miss, I have never actually gotten anything in this app to work. Perhaps only the mainstream (Samsung, HTC, etc..) are supported ?? I'm not sure.

[FIX] Clear all button in recent apps 2.2.0-X/2.2.1

Hello,
this FIX brings you back close all button in recent apps panel if you have deactivated Google Application. It will replace SystemUI.apk with new one (moded and deodexed). This fix is made only for OxygenOS 2.2.0-X.
How To:
make full backup in TWRP
flash clear_all_fix_2_2_0_X.zip file in TWRP
enjoy it
I tested it and everything works great for now ... but who knows???
Thanks. I'll try ASAP !!

Now I can wait for MM.
This is exactly what I'm looking for It would be better if close all apps button is placed at bottom center of the screen
I was looking for solution too, but without any success, so I decide to solve it by myself [emoji41]

I'm interested in this aswell. I often have a bug that forces "recent apps" to open when I just want to open my Apps.
The fix for it is to unhide and re-hide the google search bar.

You can try this mod, but it is only partially fix. It will hide search bar in recents, but after each restart in first run of recent view is search bar visible, in next run of recent will be hide Make full backup before flashing, I didn't test it so much, but it should works

Could you make a new for 2.2.1, not sure if there are any changes made that gets overwritten flashing this from 2.2.0
No need.
On 2.2.1, hiding google search bar on Home screen works without crashing the launcher.
Then Cross is OK on the recent apps screen.

Great for you guy! Still i would appreciate the fix for 2.2.1. I don´t use the google app (disabled/removed) so there is no close button in recent with the app gone, the previous fix worked great on 2.2.0.

No i have not, i don´t know if the 2.2.1 update made any fixes to the file that is replaced. I will most likely work, but i prefer a proper fix for the latest update.
Gravitybox from xposed will enable you to add clear all button in recent app. Why need to do a mod?
See screenshot.

[SHARE][NO ROOT]Latest Xperia Apps

Hello!
So, here you go: [CM/AOSP][NO ROOT]] Latest Xperia App for non stock ROM
There says about CM/AOSP, however, I've installed Launcher, Music and Weather without any problems on stock Crapwiz 5.1.1 and are running flawless. The other apks should work as well.
I didn't try on CM/AOSP rom, but should work since are meant for that.
There aren't any screenshots, but there's a post with a YouTube video showing the apps: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71689269&postcount=1051 .
PS: Xperia launcher is so smooth and it's ram usage is similar as TW one. It has some customization options too, like icons support, double tap anywhere on empty space on homescreen to turn screen off.
Launcher is awesome!
Too bad there is no option to set app launch animation, you can't get system animation.

Why I Can't Set Custom Launcher as Default Launcher ?

Solved The Problem Myself

I am facing an issue with my Samsung Galaxy F41, I am trying to set a custom launcher as my default launcher but I keep getting prompted to select between my custom launcher and the Samsung pre-built one.

I have already specified the custom launcher as my default in the default apps settings, but it keeps asking me to choose between the two. I have attached a video that shows the exact problem I am facing.
Your browser is not able to display this video.

I am not aware of any API changes made by Samsung in their latest update (Someone told me that it's something related api and i don't know what was he wanted to tell me), but I have tried all the ways I know to fix the problem and I still can't figure it out. I have tried multiple famous launchers available in the Play Store, but the problem remains.
If you have any solution to this issue, please let me know in the comments section. I would really appreciate your help in resolving this issue as I am eager to use my custom launcher as my default.
For example, Nova Launcher defends itself from being removed as the main launcher in its own settings.
Where did you get this "Kwaesltso" from?

Btw I tried Nova launcher as well but getting same issue.
Before selecting a launcher app, try tapping on "Always" first.
I'm using One UI 2.5 with Nova and it works OK, but Kvaesitso doesn't work well because except for the home screen with clock and notifications I can't open the app panel.
