Hi guys,
I broken my screen and for financial reasons I prefer to resell it. Now I want to reset my n7100 to erase my personal data ...
What are my options?
By connecting to Kies => no reset button but just backup and restore! It seems incredible to me also
By causing a recovery mode => helping me a video on youtube for the manipulation to the blind but I can not do it, I still have my data reconnecting to Kies.
Do you have a solution for me please?
I think my home button no longer works due to the breakage of the screen as possible to enter the recovery mode
Use an application called Toolkit for Note 3. Its got all the option youll need.

I tried to root my T Mobile Galaxy S2 using the Odin method, and now i'm getting nothing but a screen that says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I would happily follow those directions, but now Kies won't recognize my device?!?!? I also can not get back into download mode. I have no idea what to do. Is there anyone out there that can help?

you can get back into download mode, just turn off the phone and try again. you need to flash again, make sure you're flashing the correct device.

There are two solutions.
1. Use wifi to updates
2. Download update on this forum (under android development) for the region latest ROM. Flash using ODIN.
If this helps, click THANKS

I think it's takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on your PC performance.
And you know, i think you should read ALL Stickies thread in this GT-I8150 forum before you asking for the kind of basic knowledge link like that

I am so sorry if i sounded rude. Never meant to my english isnt too good. I am ver happy that someone is trying to help me. Sorry if you understanded me the wrong way.
We are not specific and are not spoon feeding you because this not done that way. You HAVE to spend time and learn what is what. The answers you need and the help you need are already here. If you're expecting download links and screenshots you shouldn't be modifying your phone. The whole point of this community is to learn and share the knowledge - not spoon feed.
Go to the TWRP thread, read up and download the tar that you need to flash through odin. Look for the MJ5 bootloader (hint: look up Wanam's ROM thread, that's one of the many places). After you got these two, boot to TWRP and flash the ROM.
Finally, as long as your phone gets into download mode, it's not bricked. And you got to do something incredibly foolish to make it not boot into bootloader. That said, it would be prudent to learn and act rather than blindly execute what you read - I said the same thing in not so many words in my reply to you in the DN3 ROM thread.

Yes, you will need another way to download the rom. Odin will require connecting to a computer, but flashing a rom can be done in recovery.
