Can you put a new battery in a kindle? It's been steadily lasting shorter between charges.

Yes, you can put a new battery in the Kindle Fire and it's not too hard to do. Checkout youtube for some nice video tutorials on replacing a battery

Yes I was using it! I just think I used to get more than 4 hours of use on one charge. I'm about to give it to my granddaughter and don't want it to wear out as soon as she gets it.

More like a gltch in a write to the battery log.
Unless you put it in your pocket around that time. :^)
Could I ask what app are you using to display the battery stats? I've heard of something called better battery or something like that, but I haven't been able to find it.
Thanks in advance.

His screenie is from the built on log. Go to settings/about phone/battery. BetterBatteryStats is a more in depth app that gives you more thorough statistics

Can you translate those stats to English? Is that 3 hours of screen on time?

youve had your screen on for 3 and a half hours, and still have battery left. i would never say that your device is battery hungry. on top of it youre using edge, which will drain more battery than 3G when using data. id say its fairly good.
Dang that's really good for this phone
Nothing wrong with those stats.

Seems pretty standard to me.
Do you have the screen set to stay on all the time?

My phone fell out of my jacket pocket while getting out of the backseat of a friends car. Fortunately, I found it about 20 minutes later. Unfortunately, it had gotten run over. Glass shattered, but LCD fine. Phone still worked, so I was able to backup the internal memory.
Thank goodness for the insurance.. my new referb should arrive tomorrow.

New phone working well. It came with the latest OTA, so I flashed the same version that was rooted via Odin to keep from updating the download count. Then flashed boot image from paranoid android using dd, rebooted to cwm, and installed the full paranoid android rom.
All within an hour of receiving the new handset. *grin*

Yeah I'd had a few shots and tried to read that. I was confused at first until I took into account the acronyms and typos...
Has anyone tried this charger? If so, how is the grip on the back of a bare nexus 5? Any other comments?
Thanks!

Haven't received mine yet but have ordered it. Will reply back once I have it. I have the official Nexus Orb charger as well as one of the replica models (which don't grip as well as the official one) so I can compare this to those. The angle of the official one is perfect for the Nexus 4 but isn't quite perfect for the Nexus 5 so I'll probably be selling my Nexus Orb charger soon. Will see how this one is first Seems pretty awesome especially for the price!
Hey did you ever get yours? How is it?
