Also had to cut the one clip that was off center. It also doesn't have the smart cover ability.

Yes, I also have the original LG Quick Cover. It states in description that it doesn't support it.

Wonder if its for the the F-240 (I think thats 's the Korean model number for the OG Pro)
Anyway, the free black one they sent me for pre-ordering mine is supposed to support it. Guess I'll try it out sometime though I'll never use it. (Just don't like the flip covers, but that's just me.)

Yes, that one you got supports it fine. I have that one also. The other one Is probably for the F-240. The one with the antennae.
Unfortunately thus one doesn't support that quick cover ring.

For those of you with AT&T our flip cover does support wireless charging. I bought the LG WCP-300 charging disc and it works perfectly with my flip case.
Original back casing and the AT&T Flip Case both support wireless charging. Also using the LG WCP-300. On my N4 it made noises when starting and finishing charges. No beeps when charging the LG OGP.

I have to admit that this is a great feature to have, I cant believe the s4 and HTC one doesn't have this out the box but to be fair there is a kit for the s4

I put the Flip Cover on this weekend. It makes the phone a little thicker, but very nice to hold. Wireless charging also works good. Since it turns the screen on/off automatically it will help keep the power button from wearing out, as well. :good:

I have this case as well, and it even works with CM 10.2!
Is there any way to protect the back cover? I'd rather have a TPU or some sort of actual protection, but for all the beauty of this case, the back cover doesn't increase protection from drops or scratches.
Anyone used a skin with it?

Hard to tell from your video, does it have any lip to lift the screen off of a table if it is set down on the face? I think I can see one, but you mention that it won't protect the phone at all if it is dropped on the screen, which tells me that it doesn't stick out at all.

Yes there is. It's not big lip but just enough to raise the phone that the screen doesn't touch the table when placed face down. And I think this provides protection to most vulnerable parts of the phone: corners.

Yes it does. I think it's stupid. And there's no real use for it either: With a coin in it's place, it's not something i'd call very stable, so i rather keep the phone in my hand or have it leaning against something. And the looks could be more like in the s2s version. Other than that, i think it's a great case and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a minimal case that doesn't add to much bulk.
P.S. Just got the official slim case today (yes, the twin pack), so we'll see which one do i prefer...

I should have a replica mesh case soon which doesn't have the coin slot. Think if the quality is good it should be a wicked case.

Just received mine today.
Everyone should know that these are slightly fatter than the stock version. The advantage is that if you use your phone naked, it provides a little extra buffer for the camera lens if your rest the phone screen up. The downside is that if you use a wrap-around case, it may not fit anymore.
Luckily I knew this beforehand and decided to go with an aluminum bumper to match the new aluminum backplate

Hey, I just got my case.
I have to agree that the casse offers a great amount of protection for just a bumper.
However, I noticed one problem, which really isn't a problem.
My old blackberry micro usb charging cable doesn't fit in the port with the case on; however, the LG one does.
However, it's really a none issue at the time.
Mind posting pics of the black bumper? I'm considering getting this, but am not too fond of the white one.

That is nice! I'm curious as to how it attaches though.
It has a cover that clips to the back of the phone, if you look closely at the first image you can see the clip in the top right.
It would not be a replacement back like the Samsung galaxy s3 and note2 flip covers - mainly because the back of the optimus g is not designed to be removed by users.

Is it crazy that I'm digging that first one in yellow, red, brown and black? I like that, especially for the price. Also, in the description, it states, "Practical and functional design with built in pockets to store the credit cards and / or IDs." So I think they both hold some credit/debit cards.

I ordered one today. Comes from Korea..dang it will take a while if its anything like the GS3 should be very nice. I hope its screen protector friendly, the case I had originally was lifting the edges and screwing them up.

These are a little pricier but they look cool. If you check the sellers other items you'll find a wallet case and a diary case which can be used as a phone stand. I can't place the link but search for eBay seller lovelymuz if you would like.
So it came today. Don't buy it. Its pretty good quality, but the flip cover has no magnet or clip, it just flaps around like a flying flibity flobble. So don't buy it. The more you know...

I just received one of these in black this week. It's really slick. It says optimus G on the front and inside (embossed), and LG on the back. It takes a few days for the flap to loosen up. I have the folio case, the bumper case, and the diztronic case, and I prefer this one overall. It feels really small in the hand and it's nice that you can talk on the phone through the cover - keeps the screen clean.
Can we get some good pictures to check out out. All the ones online are the same and you can't see much detail.
Also, it is magnetic?

My wife and I have the same folio case and it is very nice. It's manufactured by LG so the fit is perfect, although it has no magnetic or velcro fastener for the folding front cover. Also, the front cover has no opening for the notification light.
