I have a problem after a restart today my phone got in a bootloop all of a sudden.
do you know how to indentify and maybe get rid of the culprit???
Data:
GNote 2 International (N7100) 16GB
Root, TWRP, Note Runner 2.3 (DMC3-Build)
Simplistic Framework
Root apps like Tasker Secure Settings, SuperSU, Titanium and others.
also tried several things before:
Cache deleting, killing superSU app data (therefore root apps not getting root again) or deleting recent root apps.
even a system only restore doesnt work

Alright, so I decided to use Root Uninstaller to freeze some apps such as the AT&T Software Update and various other Samsung apps. Unfortunately, I haven't been unable to unfreeze the apps regardless of whether or not I use Root Uninstaller or Titanium Backup. If I use either Root Uninstaller or Titanium Backup, they each say they have unfrozen the app, but if I go to use the app, It will not work; the phone will not recognize it is even installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, mates!!
I have a little problem with Dark Knight game in my unrooted Galaxy Note 8 (4.2.2)
About months ago i had version 1.1.3 installed and worked just fine, but i had to delete it because i needed internal storage space.
This week i tried to install it again, but when i start new game and tryin to play intro video, the game freezes (black screen with only skip icon showing but inactive).
Had someone the same problem? Is there a fix?
I have tried almost every version but the same things happens.
So it's probably the android version or some settings fault since i used to play this game...

Run saferoot and root your device. You can get it on the Easy way to root.. thread.
Once you root, download Ti backup and have it uninstall orphan apps. Somewhere in the system there are files that are left over from your game.
Safe root will not flash increment your counter so performing stock update will function normally. The only issue is Samsung Book Hub will not run in rooted devices. You can hide the root using substrate and Rootcloak to allow apps that do detect rooting to function.
If you are not willing to saferoot... then backup your apps and settings with Kies, and do a factory reset of your system. Then restore your apps and settings before installing your game.
If the game still does not run properly after any of the options I gave, then it is possible you are side-loading part of the app. Some apps like Samsung's Link will not side load properly without permissions and data properly transferred.
Since your not rooted at this time, doing any manual work to fix the issue will not be an option..

Wow, thanks for your advice... I don't feel like rooting this baby for a while.. but i will try factory reset when i find time to.
I'm not sure i understood what side-loading is... but i'm 100% sure that somewhere in the system there are files that are left over. I wish i could find them or perhaps a Kitkat update sometime soon maybe help. Anyway, i'm going to try new games and then come back with this...
Trying to get rid of junk apps but Romtoolbox won't uninstall apps.
Able to freeze apps but after selecting uninstall nothing happens.
Running latest lollipop ota rooted / stock original recovery.

Update :
I appears that the issue is with Romtoolbox Pro, after uninstall app still shows in Romtoolbox app manager but upon checking system /app manager the apps are gone.
Pp.
Uninstall romtoolbox and reinstall I had the same issue and uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it.

Same issues here, deleted apps they still showed up, uninstalled romtool box then reinstalled it apps werent there, so I went ahead and deleted some more and same issue occured.
Bought a G4 6 months ago and week after getting was rebooting itself could not return to lg as i unlocked bootloader, i managed to install a custom rom and this allow me to use the phone, some reason just the stock rom would reboot, was working fine for few months then now two things
Go to settings, security and when put in pin to access these setting it goes back to home screen and says settings has stopped working!
also when i try to unistall a app it just reboots and the app is still there
--- I HAVE TRIED THE FOLLOWING
installing root apps to remove apps, still reboots and still there
flashing other roms
flashing the stock kdz - reboot bootlopps after a bit
then installing custom rom again, same thing cant unistall apps
deleted cache and dalvik
really love the phone would use for another year if it worked
