LD-50 2.0 Test Rom by Avatar.

I believe it patched the Enyos CPU security issue or something of that nature, other than a few other bug fixed and performance tweaks.

The exynos exploit was patched in ma7. This update has fixed the issue of sometimes having svoice pop up while pushing the home button. Also one other small glitch but I cant remember what it was as it didnt bother me.

I used same update from sextape everyone else used. I dint have notification panel setting to customize. I saw it was in update so I youtubed which is from pic and googled features of 4.1.2.
Im asking if anybody has.
Only things I found are movable multi Window tab ,4.2 gmail, ink effect color (my ljc had only blue ink effect), 4.2 keyboard, smoother os & I never noticed b4 but owner thing on lock screen to enter personal text on lock screen..

The multi-window tab has always been movable... So that doesn't count
I was hoping for more changes though. Hopefully the next update will do more. I have noticed everything is faster/more stable, but could be a figment of my imagination

Yes. You have to unroot and flash update zip in stock recovery. If you rooted like I did b4 ljc ota when you unroot to lj1 check system update and it should auto update via notification to ljc ota. Then you can flash the update zip via stock recovery.
Youtube qbking77. He shows video.
Hope this helps.
Fyi I just rerooted last night, any time there is leak or ota update it must be done via stock recovery

I dont have the customizable notification panel. I think that only comes in the official 4.1.2 update not the leak. Apparently only ones I know that have that new feature is international n7100 so if you are already stock lk8 thats it. Its fixes bluetooth issues. Smoother interface and thats all ive found so far

Oh ok, so I'll just leave it till a better one comes out or the real ota.

You don't have to do all that for the lk8 leak. There is a flashable zip that I used to update to it

[Q] T-mobile SGH-T999 Flash Crash Root66 4.1.1 with 4.2 cam/gal

I use Root 66 4.1.1 with the 4.2 camera, and for the longest, if I hit edit or tinyplanet on a sphere, I'd get the "com.google.android.gallery3d has stopped" error, and the flash was intermittently Working. When it wasn't, it would either black screen or give the same error.
I got fed up, did some finger walking, flashed a fixed 4.2 camera, so now spheres are no issue to edit, but normal pics are hit-and-miss to edit, and flash fails consistently. Both the edit and flash foul ups are the gallery 3d error.
I did some more nosing around, but have only found the same solutions I've already tried
Also, not sure if this has any relevance at all, but my gps went out, but i was able to fix it with a dialer menu trick another member pointed me to.
Is this camera bug common across a lot of roms, or is my combination of the 4.2 camera and Root66 particularly problematic? Is there a simple fix that will stick? All thoughts and ideas are appreciated.
I think that you're on 4.1.1 causes the isues

[Q] How come auto-correcting a single word replaces entire paragraph?

This is really getting on my nerves and seems to happen at random. I type out a long text, go back and tap a word the is spelled wrong and *poof* it replaces the entire text (or most of it) with the new word. How come this is happening?
What build version are you on? MA6, MB1, or MD4? I think I heard that this issue was fixed with the MC3 leak/MD4 OTA.

When you hear that apps are worth the money, this app is beyond worth the money.
Of course u can get cracked (not encouraging) but to get the best updates I finally bought it.
It has amazing autocorrect, and it learns how you type to finish your sentences for you, it even records where you usually hit buttons instead of where you should and adapts to it (typing heat map below)
Highly recommend it

Network error and can't connect to internet

I need some help. So my issue can be a couple of things. So I flashed a beanstalk Rom last night and as of this morning and early afternoon I had internet, could connect to Fb and etc. But I also had my line switched last night from being under my ex's line to my own and for a moment then I couldn't connect until I selected some plan. So back to today everything has been fine until I noticed flashing the latest Nos script. It was some time after then where I couldn't log on. Not immediately but I knew since then I couldn't. So my question is would it be because of that script or something on the t-mobile side? I haven't called because my phone is rooted and not sure how to handle that. I also don't know if apn settings may be messed up? Please help and thanks

Try a different radio

I have many app ideas, but don't have the skill or the time to learn how to make an app. if you would like to know an idea and attempt to make one, just message me.
Sounds like there's a problem with the script. You could make a nandroid and do a clean flash to see if everything works.
OK so I think it was a script or possibly the kernel. I went to a nandroid I made last night and went to that. Had the same radio and but no script and not the newer kernel and it works fine.

It's most likely the script I had conflicting wifi and data tweaks once same thing happened to me couldn't connect to anything until I figured it out. It was the sysctl. conf file conflicting with the build prop and int.d tweaks I had.

Thanks man, you're always helpful in these forums. Did you just remove the script after that or just reflashed the ROM? And what ROM are you currently running? Thanks bro

Yeah I removed the script including the sysctl. conf file. Then put the original one back and it was good. I have been running Liquidsmooth RC9 since November as my main rom. Have V6, GPU oc'd, reversed mounting script for external/internal sd, and sound mods on it with kko kernel. I flash all the roms though just to see how they run. I really like the linaro builds lately that are coming out. They seem to be getting snappier and overclocking to 2ghz with the uber kernel is sweet just to test with but not an all day thing or your phone will blow up. Been staying on 4.1.2 for stability reasons mainly. Camera and video doesn't act crazy, notification lights work, and the coding of the kernels isn't out of whack like some of the 4.2.2 roms. Eventually I will jump fully to a 4.2.2 rom but for now I am good with 4.1.2 because it's reliable with no issues.

help with issues with synergy spr gn2 note 2 rom

Hi all, I finally decided to root and install a custom rom on my note2 however im having some issues with the synergy rom I need some guidance on please.
1. I installed r83 and then r85 over r83 but my device still says my build version is synergyrom_r83 #
2. while running this rom I am experiencing many freezes that require me to pull the battery and seems to be freezing when the phone is in landscape mode.
thanks for reading.
1. That doesnt matter. Its an oversight on my part.
2. Turn off the ripple effect in Settings>Lock Screen> Ripple effect

Thanks for the speedy reply, I will try your suggestion and report.
@the_plattypus
I turned off the ripple effect as suggested unfortunately it is still freezing. Any other suggestions?
Also my battery is being used to quickly, like 10% in 30 mins.
Also when the screen is off and I hit the home screen to turn on the screen sometimes it is bringing up the recent apps menu as the stock rom did before the last official update.
Can anyone else assist with above issues?
I would love to stay on this rom, I hope these issues are fixable.

ok I will install the perseus kernel.
how about the freezing and the home button turning on the screen but bringing up the recent app list?
I really appreciate your assistance buddy!!!
I tried turning off the ripple affect but it still froze so I installed the No Lock app and my note2 hasn't froze since.
I installed the perseus kernal and my battery life is now great.
what can be done about the home button issue? once more the last issue is that when pressing the home button to turn on the screen it is also opening the recent apps list as if I was holding down the home button. this same issue was fixed in the latest official note 2 update.
how can I stop it from doing this?
Platt posted a fix for several things in the synergy thread OP. Flash that and see if the home button issue is resolved.
