thanks buddy. its a great app and pretty handy as well i say
Hi, just downloaded this app and its not bad.
Do you know what folder it puts the downloaded fonts. Im asking as i have a custom rom and already downloaded a large font package, over 100 and currently using a kitchen app to install each zip one by one without viewing.
I was hoping to put the fonts i already have into the same folder and using this app to view them.

Go into your display settings and there's an option to change the font to a few different things as well as downloading other fonts as well.

Download ifont from playstore and install any fonts you download but you have to be rooted
Or root it, then use Rom Toolbox to change the font. It worked for me
Nexus ONE
With root use ifont from the playstore it has better fonts than rtbx
Be careful with font apps, like ifont. I had to reflash the stock LG rom as it screwed up my phone..
It's there a safer way to change the font to roboto? I don't want to go through another system crash, and since we don't have a recovery it's harder to want to take risks.

As far as I know, iFont doesn't work with Marshmallow...
I use hifonts now but that doesn't change clock and stuff
search for flshable font packs on xda. choose yours and flash away it changes the system font so get applied throughout the rom including the setup. been using it since a couple years now.

No way Brother
So I'm the newest of newbs to XDA but I've been fond of LG devices ever since my first, the LG G3. Anywho, I was wanting some better options for home themes other than what's provided thru the smart world app. They're, for lack of a better word, LAME. Any assistance pointing me in the right direction to obtain some knarley themes would he appreciated. Note: I would like to use the theme launcher provided by LG that comes loaded on the device if possible. Opposed to downloading a different launcher. Thanks in advance.
Assumption
So I'll assume that a different launcher is needed.
There are plenty of theme threads right here?

No a different launcher is not used when using LG themes.
If you decompile the system themes you can learn how to create your own or you can just purchase some on your own.
The google play store has more offerings for themes then LGs app store.
decompile?

Hi there, maybe you can help? You seem to know a lot about this android subject, I could not find the theme I am most interested in modifying which is the one named: LG (see image).
Do you have any idea on how or where is LG storing this one? Also couldnt find the Platinum one within Priv app, any ideas?
Thanks!

Ah that's actually a good question, from my quick guess I believe that is the stock UI and not a theme, I believe it CAN be themed but I wouldn't recommend it without root or you'll have to constantly reboot your phone as you change things as I believe it's tied to system files while the actual themes are overlay packages.
Want the clear weather widget;

What I really want from the main LG theme (UI) is the clear weather widget, it be great to add that to the dark theme and some AOSP icons!
So I should look into the resources/overlay folders? Thanks again!

Does it actually work system-wide though? Also, no square on the clock? I tried a few different apps on my 3xl, but none applied system-wide.

Font injection? It's the root one. This is cool. Thank you for this.
Does anyone know the location and font file(s) responsible for the lockscreen and status bar? Using a Magisk Module and its changed almost everything but not the lockscreen or the status bar. Some settings titles are the default GoogleSans as well.
If anyone knows, I'd appreciate you sharing!

Do you have a particular for in mind? I have a ADB font Installer that creates a font magisk module on your sdcard but it only has a few fonts in it. You must be rooted.

This works fine for Android 10? Everything I've found so far, it's not system-wide and things like the clock are messed up. I haven't tried fontio yet though.
I think it was you a while back that made me a rosemary font? That's one I'd love to see work again.

Sort of depends on the font. To get around the lockscreen clock problem if it's not compatible, you pretty much have to use the stock one. This one is called rosemary. If you don't like it, remove the module. Flash via magisk manager.

Well, on P, the rosemary font you posted in the 2xl font thread worked perfectly on my 2xl and 3xl, but only on P. On 10 it was doing the square in the clock and also wasn't system-wide. Did you just remake this?
Thanks a ton btw! I love this font.

I'm very fond of Rosemary. Keep one of my pixel 2 XL is on Android 9 just to get the full effect. On 10 only halfway works even on my pixel 4 XL. So if I could find a rosemary font for the pixel 4 XL on Android 10 I'd be happy.
