Hi
Every thing is in the title question :
I'll own in few days an AT&T HTC ONE X+ 64GB.
Threre really seems to have much rom in this section than other's One X's one (!).
QUESTION : Am I Yes or No able to install HTC ONE X rom such as Carbon 1.7 JB 4.2.2 on this AT&T HTC ONE X+ 64GB ??
YES / NO / WHY
Did anyone try ??
Many thanks for answer.
PS : let's play a game >> could we avoid dumbass or time loosing answers please ...
You cannot run One X rom on a One X+. I think that's due to the difference in the tegra chipsets.

if you want to avoid dumbass answers, then why ask that? you don't think if it would be possible they had then 2 different forums? if it would work both phones would have one forum ...or a thread where it would state or in the rom thread that it would work...
so NO it isn't working but you can learn and try to port it to the hox+

Hi, I have possibility to change from Samsung Galaxy S2 to HTC One X... I like CM9 on SGS2... So my question is: will One X have official CM release? I know it's hard to tell, but please post yout guesses (for example Sensation doesn't have official CM).
We have a lot of talended Developers now at One X. I'm pretty sure we'll get CM9 offically or unoffically.
So you think it's good choice to switch from SGS2 to One X?

IMO One X is lot better than SGS2. We have already developers started on One X ROM. More developers are getting One X AFAIK. It's gonna be a fun ride with One X.
i m buying an htc one x from the internet
the problem is: everyone says one x 200 euro,one x 300 euro, one x.....one x....one x
i never saw one XL
so i m thinking they don t differ them!!!!!
I want one X tegra3 4-core
how can i check if it is a real one x or it is a one xl??
ps:
thanks htc for this confusion:laugh:,as always
thanks for reply
Learn to read the specs. HTC One XL has dual core and HTC One X has quadcore

I can t read the specs
Coz there are no spces...
Noone wrote them
If it says HTC one xl its the dual core version. Can't you just ask the seller?

I know the specs
And he doesn t know
They are aesthetically equals
There should be something aesthetically different
For ex. I saw two unboxing
One x black and one x white
A box says : I m the ONE you ve been waiting for
While an other box says: htc one x 720p camera etc...
Then i saw one xl unboxing
And the instruction manual says your htc one x!!!!!!! Even if it s one xl!!
The manual is the same for they both -.-
Htc is relly stupid >.>

Specifications are clearly printed on the box, ask the seller to read the box . If he doesn’t have the box then ask him to go to Settings > About > Hardware Information, the processor type is listed there as well. AT&T One X and international One XL (x325s) support 4G LTE while the international Quad core One X (s720e) does not. There are many ways to tell the two apart, I don't see what the big problem is. If the seller doesn’t even know what he is selling, then blame him for his stupidity (Not HTC for using the same design)! Don't ever rely on the physical appearance when buying electronics, there are so many fakes and clones. Always go by specifications and model number/product code, especially when buying from individuals or auctions. Because there are many Chinese clones out there as well.
Hey,
I've recently switched back to android and im now looking into the next phone I want. At the moment, I'm looking into the one X+ as I assume it is capable of running the MIUI OS that the One X runs.
My questions is, is it possible to run the HTC One X version of MIUI on the ONE X+? (BTW, im referring to the international/European versions)
Just as the title says.
I have the HTC One X+ and notice there are a lot more tons for the HTC One X than the One X+ and would like to try them

If they did they would be in the same section.
People who have almost identical phones (The One XL) almost brick their devices trying our ROMs.
Don't even try.

The HOX+ and HOX are nigh on identical, internally and externally. But there are minor variations, probably mostly in the way the phone identifies itself to software, but I believe there are differences in the internal partition structure that make the 2 devices incompatible in terms of ROM's.
I don't think I would take the chance of bricking it.
That said...adaptation of any HOX ROM to the HOX+ should be a relatively minor enterprise. Might want to look into porting one.
the cpu is a lil bit another then in the hox and hboot etc is not completely the same...the things which aren't the same are really really small...so don't try...you or another dev could try to port...that would work...
I'm considering getting either the X or the X+. Dev support is very important for me, as I highly doubt I'll be sticking with the Stock ROM. So I just wanted to know if all the development of the Nokia X is compatible with the X+, all the ROMs. It isn't very different in specifications from the X. Can somebody please answer this? Thanks.
