There's official TWRP for sprint and at&t. Are either compatible with Canadian (Rogers E971)? Or will we get support in the future?
Also, clicking install recovery with goo manager says my device is named geeb. Is it actually geeb or like geeb_rgs?
If it works for AT&T it should work for us. As the old twrp and current cwm were built for the E970 and used by E971, E973 and E975 without issues.

Lol,almost 3 weeks since we have official cm10.1, all working,almost no bugs.In fact the only bug i could find is the call by bluetooth one.I don't know what forums you read guys,but for sure it's not xda.we have some interesting projects here..but if you can't find them,i guess it's better this way.

It's been reported to work onF180K,L, but with problems,mainly no 3g/wi-fi connection,due to baseband incompatibilities.Solved by flashing again the radio/modem.

According to the comments i've seen, exactly same as 975 but for the LTE bands.
Yes it is and if your operator uses same lte band as in Europe(2100/2600),you can use roms for E975 without any problems,.

The smoocha kernel from Original Android Development isn't compatible, right??
No,different sources. Smoocha is based on a modified nexus4,official cm(and related) are based on official lg source.

There is already a link to all indexed roms.the roms working for E975 are good for E977 too. All credits go to xerxin for that.So,creating several threads with same things,well,don't make much sense,right?besides,some roms tested for e977 are not from xda.

IS it possible to flash roms like the new official cm10.1 which is made for the e975, but instead onto my canadian e971? the only difference between the two phones is the frequency used for lte, so it shouldnt be a problem right? im bored of the few canadian roms available for this phone on xda, and im looking to flash some of the e975 roms,

The E975 has a 13 MP camera, so your rear camera won't work on an E971 if you flash a ROM for the E975. OTOH, you can use ROMs from the E970 (AT&T LGOG) and the only thing you are likely to lose would be your green notification LED. I'm running dvhexer's alternate CM 10.1 build for the E970 as my daily driver. He even included E971/E973 LED support in the 7/13 build.
