Instructions to Pay Apps from the market by Vodafone, T-Mobile account or to pay O2.
If you want to change this in your Galaxy, you should read and understand these instructions!
Neither I, nor XDA-DEV. assume liability for damages that may arise on your device by following this guide.
Preparation:
* Root your Galxy (if already rooted skip this step)
* Root Explorer or alternatively to install EStrongs File Explorer
Now the change:
* Start or root EStrongs File Explorer
* Changes to the System folder
* Search build.prob First, click on it and select "Copy" and go to the SD card and "paste" choose to secure these
* Now go back to the system folder
* Represents the write permissions to access r / w
* Looks back the build.prop file
* Press the top and select "Open in Text Editor"
Search * Now the line ro.com.google.clientidbase = ********
* Now the ******* Vodafone change in android-vf-de change at T-Mobile android-tmobile-de and O2 change in android o2-de (with me standing there android google)
* Now save the file
* Reboot your device
* Manage Then in Settings / Applications / Applications / All / Market and clear data
* Now click on the market, choose a paid app, and watch whether Vodafone or T-Mobile account is listed strain (but not hook it and pay for).
* If yes you made it and you can soon buy the app's also without a credit card from the Market.

* Nun die Datei speichern
* Gerät neu starten
* Dann in Einstellung / Anwendungen / Anwendungen verwalten / Alle / Market und dort auf Daten löschen klicken
* Jetzt auf den Market klicken, ein kostenpflichtiges App aussuchen, und gucken ob Vodafone oder T-Mobile Konto belasten aufgeführt ist (jedoch nicht anhaken und bezahlen).
* Wenn ja habt Ihr es geschafft und könnt demnächst die App´s auch ohne Kreditkarte aus dem Market kaufen.
Dann viel Spaß beim testen.

No. Read the OP - it's the method that lets you pay using your carrier's account instead of a credit card.
This bricked my phone. Even though I have backed up the build.prop file, I still am stuck. I have no way of putting back the backup to the system folder. Probably have to reflash my ROM.
Edit:
Luckily by reinstalling my old rom without wiping any caches fixed it without any data loss.
can you please guide us through "What other can do who are using other carrier provider like " Airtel" which is in India

run step 2. PKTool.cmd
look in the C:\VGA-GPS\SYS Folder, and delete Folder SampeMusik
run the next steps, and create a G710.NEW.IMG for Flash

Bei der Beta2 von powerbyte kann ich die Einstellungen verändern, nur leider gehen die Ringtones nicht.

Ja, bei mir sieht es genau so aus.
Werde mal versuchen, ob man der Beta2 die fehlenden sachen aus der "finalen" Version von powerbyte einfügen kann. Evtl. hilft auch ein weiteres entfernen von dateien aus der Version von Powerbyte, da die Größe auch ohne samplemusic noch grenzwertig ist.
@Powerbyte, vielleicht hast du ja mittlerweile auch eine lauffähige Version.

die idee mit dem schrumpfen hatte ich auch schon weil ich dachet er hätte keinen Platz mehr die Konfiguration zu schreiben, hab das img bis auf 44MB verkleinert, hat aber nichts gebracht.

I need help with my O² IIs; if I don't use it for a while (one to 20 seconds) the sound always turns off and I can't navigate or use the phone. The sound also cannot be set to a level (loud/quiet), because the adjuster hang down on quiet.

ich habe ein Problem mit meinem O² IIs-PDA: Immer wenn ich einen Augenblick warte (in der Regel nur einige Sekunden), schaltet sich der Ton immer wieder automatisch aus-> Er schaltet sich aber nicht nur aus, sondern blockiert auch die restliche Bedienung des PDAs. Wenn ich den Ton nun wieder aufdrehen möchte, springt der Regler immer wieder nach unten; die Lautestärkeverwaltung flackert, und mann kann in der Regel nicht bestätigen. ich hoffe, Ihr könnt mir helfen...

grundsaetzlich sind nicht englisch-sprachige posts im forum unerwuenscht. zumal es sich um ein problem mit der deutschen rom handelt, waere es angebracht gewesen, dort zu posten
das kann im grunde nur 3 ursachen haben:
1. recht unwahrscheinlich: dein touch screen ist nicht richtig ausgerichtet, einfach mal nachjustieren ueber die einstellungen
2. sound wird auch vom radio rom geregelt, evtl ist da beim flashen was schief gelaufen, z.b. sim karte oder sd karte im geraet vergessen, und dann kann sich das radio schon mal verabschieden.
3. und am wahrscheinlichsten: der laustaerke regler an der linken seite des geraets hat einen schaden und moechte immer runterregeln, das wuerde dann erklaeren, wieso das geraet nichts anderes mehr akzeptiert, weil ja schon permanent eine taste gedrueckt wird und natuerlich auch, wieso der ton weg ist. einfach mal geraet oeffen und sich die ecke anschauen und ggf reinigen.

I'm a beginner in flashing or installing wm os; I destroyed my father's PDA by trying an update to Win mobile os 5.4. In the Internet, the original O² OS could`t be found. I tried everything half a year to get it work and realized now, that windows xp ist my best friend using updates/ upgrades. Then I found 6.5.5 - It works
1.) So: Thank you for your solution. I try open and clean it.
2.) The memorycard was outside the PDA
3.) what is a radio rom?
the radio rom:
you might have realized that during the booting process, there are 3 numbers, R, G, D
R shows you the radio version currently installed. D: shows the OS rom, meaning the rom you flashed, WM6.5.5 the file you flashed is named nk.nbf and the radio rom would be named radio_.nbf and the flashing process is exactly the same.
ok, but what does it do?
the radio rom handles all the hardware related things, meaning the OS rom uses drivers and the radio rom to actually handle the device, the GSM, GPRS, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, camera, sound, microphone...
sometimes it works well (no sound problem)...

radio roms are generally not included in the roms here. but after downloading a radio, the process of flashing is the same, remove the sim and sd card, put the device into bootloader mode, flash using maupgradeut_noid, after flashing, perform a hard reset, pressing power+reset and camera+record and in the menu set No Yes Yes.
and yes, you might want to upgrade the radio, the 1.15.00 is the newest version and seems to work great for most people including myself.
i flashed my PDA and the Radio rom, but I cannot get out of the bootoptions mode. The OS only starts if i take a soft reset
sorry, i did't read your tutorial, but the mail button doesn't work
on a device with broken mail button, you have to connect to the device using mtty (in the wiki). for that connection you have to put the device into bootloader mode, connect the device, start mtty, set it to usb or wceusb, whichever is provided, 115200, 8,1,no,none,none, hit ok and then it connects. press enter and it should show a prompt

then your device should hard reset and then restart, if it doesn't, just soft reset.

At the moment I don't know where Check engine is stored for Themes...
Minimum Firmware Version seems MBUKI on S8500, but then I can't access this theme...
On XXKL1 on S8530 I have no problem to download Flash Themes.

Es gibt 2 Theme Arten...
A = Die mit Flash drinnen. Also das was sich bewegt...
B = Die OHNE Flash, was seit bada 1 rumkrepelt...
Samsung hat sich besonders viel Mühe gegeben... Flash zu schützen...
Deshalb können die *.DCF Dateien weder entpackt, noch installiert werden von Hand... es gibt keine ZIP aka *.smt Datei.
Was genau geht jetzt bei Dir nicht?

Sobald man ein Theme (egal, ob Flash, oder nicht) aus dem Store mit einer CFW lädt, ist dieses nicht einstellbar.
In der Liste installierter Themes wird dieses als "Kopie" des vorherigen Elements in der Liste angezeigt.
Dieses hat auch kein Icon...
Daher mein Verdacht, dass für die Problematik die Versionsprüfung verantwortlich ist.
Denn SMTs gehen ja ohne Probleme...

Nachdem ich die Watch auf Werkszustand zurückgesetzt und neu eingerichtet habe, kommt beim Start des Galaxy Stores der Fehler: "Fehler, erneut versuchen".
Mir fällt hier gerade nichts sinnvolles ein, ist eine Neuinstallation des Stores möglich?

Hallo zusammen, habe vor ein paar Tagen ein p20 lite gefunden und würde es gerne benutzen. Da ein Look Screen eingerichtet war, war es für mich schwer in das Handy zu kommen. Habe es ein Bekannten gegeben weil er am lautesten gerufen hat das er mir das auf Werkseinstellung zurücksetzt. Fazit ; Das Handy wurde zurück gesetzt aber das Handy verlangt von mir das vorige Google Konto. Ich kenn die Person nicht also kenne ich das Konto auch nicht. Jetzt meine Frage, gibt es eine Möglichkeit das Handy so platt zu machen das ich es nutzen kann?
Was soll ich zum Handy sagen, USB Debugging ist aus und wenn ich es am PC anschließe.
Früher hab ich mal mein Sony Ericson ARC S geflasht und gerootet aber damals war das alles einfacher.
Kann mir jemand helfen oder kann ich das Handy direkt ausm Fenster werfen?

Personally, I'd simply turn a found device in at the nearest police station or lost property office.
