Hey,
Yesterday, i updated my C6503 with the 253. update for MEA, because i haven't had an update from PC Companion yet, here in germany. I only excluded the baseband at the install via flashtool.
But now i can't connect to 3G. Does anybody had or have a similiar problem with his ZL?
Edit: Ok, maybe i found a solution, will try when i get home.

Hello
I installed FXP043 on my Arc S with unlocked bootloader. All looked fine but i could not connect with my ant+ sensors
I downloaded Ant+ Demo and with the first start I got a message to install "Ant Radio Service". No problems so far and no errors.
I rebooted my phone (ARS says so in the description) but Ant+ Demo tried for 15 min to "enabling ANT ...". With stockROM there is no problem.
Is it, because my lt18i is recognized as lt15i?
Do I have to wait for a new release or is there anything I can do now to get this working?
Have you downloaded and installed ANT radio service?

Yes, downloaded and installed, no change, no enabled ant+
its an issue with fxp043....vibrations still not working btw...
Hm, to bad.
I think, I try it some times later again
Hi, i'm using an arc s with the 4.0.1.a.0.266 build number, the problem is when i tried updating my phone via ota, it said that "the phone gets the latest version", i tried to change to other countries' date and time, but it didn't work.
Then i tried using pc comp, it said that there is a new version 4.0.2 for my phone, but when it began to download the new version, it got an error message "could not download the phone software because of connection error.... ". i know that there is no problem with my internet connection.
Has anybody got the problem like me ?
wait for OTA to come in your country for your carrer.
Or use FlashTool to update.

Hello everyone,
On my commute this morning, I received a firmware update notification which I postponed until I got to work. I didn't have Wifi at the time so I thought it would be best to postpone until I did.
So I get to work and connect to the Wifi here and try updating but it now says 'no update available.' Strange or what?

people have been reporting in some other threads, they start the update, it fails, and then the update disappears. check through kies.

Thank you sir.
It has worked with Kies, only thing I've noticed is brightness setting is now in the notification bar.
Also, different filters in the stock camera app.
You can ge the telus ota update at samsung-updates.com for those you can not get the ota update to work. It says it is a kies update and it will flash through odin as well. You want to download the one under F for firmware. And the download is very slow. You can also get the update from
samfirmware.com and download is alot faster.

I already tried reinstalling PCC, reinstalling the drivers, etc, but during pairing (when it asks to connect the phone, and I connect it), it always hangs after a few seconds, and the PCC windows becomes corrupted. If I unplug the phone, the program resumes working, and says the pairing has failed.
See picture. Why is this happening? How do I fix it? OS is Windows 7 x64. Phone is Xperia S stock JB .96.
i'm having the same prob i hope someone find a fix

Same issue. It started happening when I upgraded to Jelly Bean. Manually uninstalling and reinstalling UMBus and MTP-over-IP drivers doesn't help either.

Have the same problem for a while now.
Have Tried:
Two PC's and Two phone's. : HP and Acer
Phones: Xperia S( not working) and Xperia ZL (working).
Xperia S has no MSC MTP switch option, but my ZL has.
Xperia S has 4.1.2 and Xperia ZL has 4.2.2.
It fixed itself for me and works now, huh
I'm bumping this because I still haven't fixed the problem but I really want this capability to work.
Does this work for anyone?

Hello all, this is my first post, so if I placed it in the wrong category or you need more info, please let me know!
Anyways, I have been having a lot of problems with the latest Cyanogenmod nightlies regarding my Wifi. First off, I noticed it wouldn't auto connect to my home Wifi, as well as the one at my work. I looked deeper and I wasn't even able to remedy it with a simple turn off and turn on of my Wifi, I have to reboot the phone whenever I want to connect to a new network or reconnect if I get out of range. This is very annoying. I tried flashing an updated modem driver for my phone (I'm on bell in Canada, but it's the same as the att version) with no luck. I tried fully wiping my phone and freshly installing the latest nightly, no dice. I was just wondering if you guys could help me out!
Thanks, MickJuice

I just installed yesterdays' latest nightly of CM 10.2 and am not having that issue. Did you Do a clean install or a dirty one?
I have the same symptoms. If a solution is discovered please let me know. I did a fresh install in an attempt to remedy the issue.

I think this is a bug with Android 4.3 in general. I am having the same problem on ParanoidAndroid RC2 9/22.
I was looking into that, I saw alot Of Galaxy Nexus problems updating to 4.3

i'm having the same wifi issue too, reinstall stock rom and everything work fine,so, this has to be a custom rom issue for sure, ive gone back and forth a few time with the same wifi problem with custom rom only

I believe it's not a custom ROM issue, It's a 4.3 issue, as multiple different ROMs based on 4.3 are having problems, and the Stock is running 4.2.2
